Quick guide to Hard reseting your htc 8125 or others..

Hard reset sequence: Press VoiceDial button + comms manager button + soft reset. You will get a screen with 3 colored bars; at this screen, press the D-Pad UP. (some other version will display a message saying to restore to factory default settings, press the 'Send' button. In this case, press your 'Send'/'Call' button).
NOTE: Hard reset sequence in details. Put your fingers on top of these two buttons (do not press them yet). Poke the reset button and INSTANTLY, press and hold (do not release them) until you see something appear on the screen.
On original shipping ROMs, the Extended ROM is only hidden, not protected in any other way. It can be accessed by using Total Commander and manually entering the directory "\Extended_ROM\" without the quotes. On the new AKU2 ROMs the Extended ROM is locked and a solution has not been found - you currently cannot delete or modify the contents.
i-Mate K-JAM comes with eTrust Antivirus and Skype in the extended ROM; delete the CAB files and hard reset to remove.

but, AFAIK, the information you put here (except for the picture) is the same as those you get in the Wiki. How different is your method as compared with the one stated in the Wiki and what problem made you not able to get the hardreset at the first place?
Or you mean you actually got the wrong button initially?!

Problem with my I-mate SP3i

Hello every body.
I've a problem with my I-mate since 3 or 4 months ago. It works with windows mobile 2003 se since I paid it to Los Angeles. I used for long time may be 2 years without any problem. The problem is the operating system (OS) doesn't respond. When I switch it on, when it finish to load the OS, the screen indicates "Flight mode", no network and not battery. You can see it on these pictures.

In that situation, if you want to access to any program, there is an error "Access denied. The program cannot start because it is not digitally signed with a trusted certificate".
I tried the hardware reset, it doesn't work, i tried also all the methods which is on the forum XDA-Developers but nothing special.
Can someone help me?

Solution about my problem
Hi everyone,
I find myself the solution about my problem, I've done correctly the hard reset and my I-mate SP3i works again.
This is the hard reset I used:
1. Press and hold soft1 and soft2 keys.
2. Press and hold power button for around 1 to 1.5 seconds. Release power
button. Keep hold soft1 and soft2 keys.
3. Later, screen shoould show instructions to ask user to press '0' key to
reset to factory default.
4. Press '0' within the timeout period, which is only several seconds
only.
5. If no instruction is shown on the screen, repeat steps 1 to 4. The timing is very important.

Help on today screen...

I have a htc prophet and i can´t put que item to appear on the today screen! Home, favorite people, weather, launcher, music, profile noting appears on the today screen and i don´t no why, i have selected every on off the items on settings/personal/today/htc home and nothing! Any ideias?

Questions:
1. Did you flashed a ROM from this forum to your device?
2. Did you follow carefully the instructions as posted before flashing a rom to your device and
3. Did you perform HARD RESET already?
thinking of why too...

Well, i had do to a hard reset, and everything is ok now! All i have do to now is install all the programs.....again....but i´m buying a new 4gb sd memory card...so....like the music..."everything´s gonna be ok.." tanks for your help.

boot problem

can anyone help me? i flush my hd2 and after that, it stuck-up, and does not continue to boot.i cant change the rom because it is not detected by the computer. thanks in advance

go to bootloader mode (hold volume down while power up)
connect usb cable, (wait till it writes "USB" at the bottom)
download stock rom from htc.com
flash the rom.
nxt time read the tutorials before flashing other roms.
make sure battery is over 50% be4 flashing

its not working..it just stuck in "htc" in the start up boot. and doesnt continue. i try hard reset, still the same thing happen.and the screen is always on with the "htc" in the screen.,..

Change radio.

YOU HAVE TO GO TO BOOTLOADER MODE !!
you dont listen, its the screen where there is 3 colors red green and blue..
to get there:
1)take battery out,
2)put it back in.
3)then you must power up your phone while you HOLD VOLUME DOWN button.

go to minute 1:10,
look how he holds the volume and press the power button.
when you see the screen with red, green and blue colors -> connect usb and wait it to recognize.

after that flash the stock rom.

[Q] no active sync and no bootloader

hello my friends
i'm got a bricked htc hd2 which had android running on it but in some how the system is gone and there is no way to get into bootload i just get a screen as bellow and i can also get to the three colore screen
i cant flash anything cuz i cant go to bootloader or active sync
i just get this black screen or the three

there is no use of video
my problem is :::
when i turn on the phone the magdlr screen shows with no options in it as the picture in the previous post
so i just want a way to flash magdlr please

What do you mean by "no bootloader"? What happens when you turn on your device WHILE holding the volume down rocker?
