Does anyone know how sms messages are stored on the Qtek-9100 ? Although I have a backup-tool I want to save them separately. Wat I realy want is manage my sms messages the same way as my e-mail, so is there a sync option with MS Outlook or an other programm ? With my Nokia 3110 (??) I could save my messages on my pc with the Nokia managertool, something like this must be possible with my Qtek I suppose.

Hello,
I just bought a Hermes TyTN and I looked all over this forum for all-in-one solution how to transfer data form my NOKIA N80 phone to Hermes... I need to transfer messages, contacts, notes and calendar... I will transfer music and images manually.
What should I do? What program to use?
Thanks in advance
I think by BT (contacts hermes to sony P990i)
I synced my NOKIA 9500 with Microsoft Outlook (Nokia Phone Software)... and then synced (Active Sync) my HTC Hermes with Microsoft Outlook ... contacts, notes and calendar all sync without any problems was a piece of cake...
Messages - Do you mean email or SMS ? If email, then you need to sync your Outlook account with your main mail box first and then sync the HTC Hermes.
For contacts, calendar, notes u can synchronize it with outlook messages not possible only e-mails
Was wondering if there was anyway to make active sync get SMS messages off your phone? Did some searching and only found info about 3rd party apps doing this
there are some commecial solutions:
search for:
IBE
which syncs SMS messages in outlook.
What about with the palm threaded sms? any ways that work with that too?

Ive hard about those but im looking for a way to do this without the use of 3rd party applications...i want to sync them within Active Sync somehow. Ive heard its possible
This would be great!
I saw on winmo 6.5 an option to sync sms with google sync...
But after i put in al my data (username, pass and server) the option disapeared.
So i guess it's coming soon.... but in the meanwhile it would be great to have an appz that sync sms.
Perhaps a simple solution where the sms is uploaded/synced to a remote MySQL database.
it would be very great ;-)
try virtural mobile it automaticly syncs them online
hey!
Is there any good way to export SMSs to txt file....M using HTC TyTN II
Hi all.
I don't use sms often but tomorrow i need to send one... and i discover that i don't have anymore the SMS folder into pocket outlook
I never receive either sms or mms (i try to send me a sms from another cell but i don't received).
Now pocket outlook show only 3 type of element in main screen.
- Outlook
- GMail
- New account
Only Outlook and GMail in the folder tree...
I've a tytn with wm6 ...
P.s.: i've tried some software (hoping something change...) but nothing happen:
htcp3600-NWW_Italy_Setup.zip
mailAccountRepair.zip
PPCPimBackupV2.8_wm2005.zip
SpbPhoneSuite_it.arm.cab
WebISToolbox_Setup.exe
I don't need to recover sms or mail... can i reset pocket outlook or reinstall it ?
I had my MMS dissappear... had to hard reset to get it back
SOB. There isn't a software or patch for repair pocket outlook sms/mms repository ?
Can i replicate some working (empty) outlook filesystem or file structure ?
all i could find was do a hard reset...
what about erasing cemail.vol ?
i'm trying but nothing... the file is locked and i don't understand what process is locking it (using TaskMgr). No one "unlock it" for WM6 ?
I've just installed dbviewSP for navigate in cemail.vol and i see folder and messages... but no "remove database" o "remove record" work.
i cant sync to outlook....
pls dont tell me send via bt 1by1
or input again.
thanks

I'm having a problem with ringtones ...
When I assign ringtone to a contact, everything is fine, until I syncronize with Outlook.
After that individual ringtones per contact get lost and on incoming call I have default ringtone.
Does anyone have same problem ?
How to get around it ?
Can someone help ? My ringtones are in \Windows\Rings directory and they are wma files
If that makes any difference
Well, I guess once you sync your contacts with outlook, you'd definately lose your ring tones!
For now, try not to sync your contacts, unless that's why you sync in the first place...
I've posted something similar on here with regards to losing information when syncing between phone and outlook.
Only suggestion would be is to only change the contact info on your phone and not outlook and to ensure that under the conflict settings, phone wins over PC.
In ActiveSync I have an option that for "Contacts" if there is a conflict - Phone data wins. But still ... same problem.
And what is interesting too, is that when I had HTC Wizard with WM6.0 (never tried WM6.1), my ringtones were OK even after full resync
Strange indeed. Pass on that one!
