getting rid of "message sent" notice in XDA2

how do i get rid of the message sent notice everytime after i send an SMS? the XDA1 just notified me if the SMS failed to sent, which i find better than how the XDA2 notifies me if the message is sent. it gets annoying.
please help.

i have the same problem. After sending a message, the sms notify "Message sent" sticks on the tasksbar.
I didn't had that problem with ROM 1.66.00WWE and radio 1.10.00, but now i have 1.72.00WWE and radio 1.14.00. I guess the problem is an registry thing...
Does anyone has the solution to our problem?

Rogge the sent SMS will stick to the task bar if you close your inbox before the SMS has confirmed being sent. I'm using ROM 1.66.00WWE and it is there with this ROM.

Bumping this. This is annoying!

people been reporting that if you use pocket plus and enable the option that makes the close button REALLY close and not just minimize that is default and you close outlook before the msg is sent
then that happens

I can't send text messages.....
I have only had my QTEK 9100 a few days so haven't needed to send any SMS text messages. Well I just tried and it doesn't work. If I compose a simple message and then attempt to send it (to a known working mobile phone) it attempts to go but comes back a few seconds later with a dialigue box saying 'Your text message cannot be sent'. I have sent a message to it from another phone and it receives OK, if I try to reply it just comes back with the same message 'Your text message cannot be sent'.
I upgraded to the RISidoro 2.26 ROM - is it possible this is the problem?

Panic over..... It was an error in the number for "Voice Mail and Text Messages" Service under the phone settings.....

SMS errors after flash to Touch IT

Hi,
I've searched but found nothing,, since I Flashed to Touch IT I'm no longer able to send SMS messages.. I can receive them but not send them..
After I press send I wait about 5 seconds to get an error 'Your text message can not be sent' when I press OK the status bar at the bottom of the screen says 'error synchronizing'. Can anyone help me with a fix?
(since installing Touch IT the activesync is always on.. anything to do with ?)

Bumping this thread as I've not had any joy with this for about 3 weeks, been googling and keeping an eye on here but no joy..
Can anyone offer any advise or clues ?
As before, I can send recieve email, but can only recieve sms.. when I try to send an SMS I get an error 'Your text message can not be sent' and the message is moved to the outbox..

I have a problem with my htc prophet, it won't let me send any sms messages or alter the phone settings. I keep getting an error message saying 'phone is not ready please retry in 15seconds.' Has anyone experienced this or know what i can do?

Hey Guys, hey. I've been sending txt messages all day, but all of a sudden I now get this notification when trying to send: "Your text message cannot be sent". Then a underlined red link appears in the text window that says "Message was not sent, try again?". When I click it, it tries to send, but with the same results. Has anyone seen this? Can you please help me? Thanks!

Only when I have no signal ...

Same problem wiht HD I got from UK and use in Israel. Can't send SMS
Blackstone. Can't send SMS but still can receive.
I checked setting, checked with carrier (I use cellcom) everything seems to be fine, just does not send and it was fine couple days ago.
