First of all hiya everybody. I'm new in this forum(found it via a Greek forum). I have a Qtek S200 and I'm having the following problem. I have made my device to ask for a password if its being open but unused for more than 12 hours. When I tried to enter my password it wouldn't accept it. I tried to flash the rom but again no luck because every time that I try to establish a connection between my pc and the s200 the activesync asks for the password... Does anyone has any suggestions on what can I do to fix it?

MDA is only "reciving data" for ages. I do all steps that U
recommended and still same - no change. I reinstal ActiveSync
100 times and do hard reset - no change - anyone can help me?

I've a problem and i'm hopping you can help me resolve it!!
Today i installed in my pc the new activesync 4.5, but i0m unable to make a connection between my S200 and the pc!! It just isn't recognized by the pc and it does'n syncronize!!!
Can anybody please help me??

Ensure your network to the phone is not firewalled. In ZoneAlarm you have to change the phone network to "Trusted" zone.

When i try to install this software you gave me, my ppc simply refuses it because it says tha there is no digital signature on the program!!

I even tryed to connect it with the firewall disabeled, but i still can´t connect the ppc to activesync!!
Any other ideas??
Its weird, but usually any PPC can accept that software, tried it before with my Himalaya, Wizard and now my Prophet and all i did was install it and begin to use..
However, that error message usually happens when you have an Application Unlocked device, you can try to de-cert it first...it is really weird as i know, it only does happen with Smartphones..

This may appear crazy, but it worked for me unintentionally of course. I had given up on being able to sync via Activesync and was looking for a solution to backup my contacts before hard resetting my phone.
I had a permanent 'Synchronization Error', I just tried a piece of software posted here

This software is designed to backup contacts, but when I ran it FIXED my 'Synchronization Error', I don't know how or why, but my phone is now working with Activesync, maybe it will fix your problem too.
It won’t do any harm to try it, as all it does is create a backup of contacts.
Hello Everyone,
Last night I've activated the password function to my mobile phone but the strange thing is i couldn't open my phone with the same password on Windows Mobile.
I thought that it could be fixed by re-installing the ROM but couldn't suceed because of ActiveSync connection.
Can anyone help me about this issue please? How could I deactivate the password?
P.S: I'm using WM6 on my Dopod 838

Every time I try to connect to the internet using Activesync I get the following Message:
"The page you are looking for cannot be found due to unknown error 0x80072f78"
I'm using activesync 4.5 and crystal v4 WM6 rom on I-mate Jamin
Please note that I have no problem connecting to the internet using WIFI

It might be due to enabling the advanced settings of the USB connection.
Go to settings-connections-USB toPC and then disable the advanced network

try this reg fix. unzip file. copy to ppc and run

I connect my qtek with pc. I tried to install wwe rom - from german to english. I ws downloaded english rom but cant install coz i have problem with COUNTRY ERROR -ERROR 120 atfer that i install in qtek "MaUpgradeUt_noID".exe and after that my qtek go to hell.
when i done hard reset on the screen write only: Serial and v1.00!!!!
..............qtek is dead...................
PLzzzz people help meeeeeeeeee
what can i do now for repair my qtek?????
p.s. srry for my bad english

Your Qtek wait a new installation of ROM, re-install the original rom completely (See Universal Wiki from this site).
After this unlock completely your UNI (See the Wiki too). Execute ALL the procedure (don't forget steps). Upgrade of bootloader is not necessary in some cases.
Install the new ROM...
Your device is not briked yet, but in bootloader mode if your battery is low, you can't recharge it...

Have you tried the "Mtty"(HTC)??
Kill the Activesync .
Open Mtty, chose the usb(you must kill the Activesync that it will appear)
than fill "task 28 55aa"

If successed, you can go on to upgrade.
I am not sure it will be work ,but in my Exec , it can work!
i did this on my mda pro, basically you just need to connect the usb cable (to phone and computer)
the serial will change to usb then you can reflash.
