BIG PROBLEM AFTER INSTALLING WIDCOMM 1.5 ON WM2005 PLZ HELP!

ok, first i installed widcomm copied all the DLLS to windows directory wich overwrited 2 files, and i dont know wich ones.
second my audio screwed but i fixed that part
third i cant synchronise with activesync anymore
REALLY NEED HELP!!! PLZ
i ve posted the widcomm 1.50 ( so you can see wich 2 files you already have in your windows directory and you can send me both so i can reoverwrite them ) can someone with a dutch 2.18(or english 2.17) rom send me 2 files wich are in his/her windows directory so i can put them back.
and can someone PLZ send me a backup of Activesynd registry settings..
by helping me you help tons of other PPL who have the same problem on other forums too, i'm ready to hard-reset and spend 7 hours fixing my whole phone if i cant be helped let me know PLZZZZZ DAMN here is widomm 1.50 ftp://xda:[email protected]/Uploads/Widcom150AMD.zip PLZ xheck out for 2 files in widcomm wich you have in your windows directory too and POST THEM PLZZZZZZZZ aaaaaaa i dont wanna hrd-reset for the 100th time

Did the hard-reset solve the issue?
Better thinking next time you gonna go install apps, I dont install just "everything" that looks cool to try
And one other thing....don't use CAPS in your titles, we all can see your topics even without CAPS on, and just use a normal font in your posts, it look likes **** those big red fonts

Already been to hard reset-ville over this one tonight. My wife told me if I break this thing, I'll be toting her Nokia 3310 for the rest of my life. Better just hard reset and not waste your time.

Thats better :lol: You will need activsync installed on your pc/laptop for starters available from microsoft or do a google for it.follow the installation instructions and it will set itself up with your Wizzard.Then basically install your mars weather and other software you care to have and it will install via the Activsync utility.For music videos/dvds/films etc download Divxencoder onto your pc and use it to encode whatever to a ppc compatable size.Then you can view these on your ppc with tcpmp you will find all these freely available by searching on this forum or via google and such.I hope this gets you started you will soon get the hang of it all. There are nice people on here who will help you if they can as long as you d'ont shout at them. :wink:

i have bought a new htc p3400 before ten days.from last few days i am facing a problem with it.some of my friends told me that whenever they try to call me the whole ring goes on and then no reply tone comes.but at the same time i will not get any information that some has called me or some one is calling me as there won't be any incoming call.please solve my problem as fast as possible.

Have you installed any softwares which control the phone activity , like photo contacts or Call monitor.

no i haven't..i installed one antivirus & some soft. like core player,pocket player etc.
plz friends help me .....

uninstall that , antivirus .. what virus attack you expect in a pocket pc , no need of that and try install this ...! it is some registery tweeks ... it might work , also get in touch with senior members and search in the general threads

Tell me one thing.... did the htc service center guys upgrade ur rom to the 6.1 or did u do it manually....
and regarding ur prob of not being able to get ne incomming calls .....Decativate all all forwardings.......by mistake u would have activated cll forwarding and the calls are getting diverted to another no and u r not getting ne indications on ur cell...

hey guys im still kind of new to this stuff. but right now i have windows 6.1 on my wing and its nice. but i seen a video on youtube with a wing that had 6.1 pro and it was AWESOME so i would like to know is there anywhere i can go and get that? oh yea and by chance can i ever downgrade back to the reg windows that came with the phone? and if i can do i just go to tmobile.com/wmupgrade ans starr from there?

What you have is already a PRO version as it is meant for all touch screen pocket pc device. Maybe you saw a different GUI effects which may be like TouchFLO 2D or so. If you can give a link to the YouTube video, we shall give you the suggestions.

That is not a "version" of or an iphone theme. It's just a ROM that has a lot of things put together to look like that. Looks like they have the old HTCHome with a skin on it, a Windows Mobile skin and S2U2 with a skin. It looks like an older ROM, actually, but I like the red theming. I don't know what ROM it is exactly, though. Oh, and that menu system is a somewhat buggy software... I forgot what it's called. It's hacked from an italian phone, I believe...

I do also Ivan ,thanks for that non useful paragraph. but can ANYBODY ELSE HELP ME????? im trying to see if i can get wm 6.1 pro or is that not released or something? as far for the themes when i download then and save them they never show up under my themes. could it be that im doing it wrong? i have aserg 6.1? do this ROM not let me use other themes?

1. You're rude.
2. It is not WM6.1Pro. Did you at all read what I wrote? 6.1 was never officially released for this phone, we (yes, I and others) ported it to this phone.
3. If you're not seeing them, you ARE doing it wrong.
Seriously, dude. I take my time to try to help some and you try to bite at the hand that feeds you. I could have done what everyone else does and said, " Search, noob!" Because truthfully, the answers ARE there if you bothered searching for the right things.
I even TOLD you what programs are being used, btw. That's about as much help as you could ask for.
It's not a THEME only, it's a SERIES of program. Let's quote me:

Now, if you searched for HTCHome you'd get the program called: HTCHome. If you searched S2U2, you'd get the program called: S2U2.

Brent, I went to your site, and found one of your sliders that I would love to add to my ATT Tilt2. (anything to get rid of that darn blue!!!) However, I am having problems with getting it to download.. .When I click on the slider that I chose (sunrise), when it went to download it to my phone.. just a bunch of square looking things came up. Any idea what I am doing wrong? I am very new to this fancy phone of mine, LOL, so any help that you can give me would be very appriciated.

Hmmm.. not sure, but I will try it from my VZW TP2.
You can always download it to your computer and copy it over by activesync.
EDIT: I was able to download directly to my phone without issue. I was using the built in Opera to browse the site from my phone.

Thanks for t he fast response Brent!! I tried again, making sure that I was using the Opera browser, and I still got the squares. Not sure what I am doing wrong here. Ok... and I know to you guys that are used to these phones, this is going to sounds sooo silly... but.. what is activesync

ActiveSync (XP) or Windows Mobile Device Center (Vista / 7) is the software you install on your computer then connect your phone to it so you can move files between the 2 or sync data

no i dont but i can work on one over the weekend. check the website every couple of days for ones. harley davidson might be a tough one though as icons with black in them usually dont show up to well.
