02 Battery Monitor

Hi All,
Since upgrading my XDA Exec to the latest ROM I now don't have the nice little today plugin for the battery montoring. I liked the old one as the new one on the top bar does not show enough info and having to click on it to see what percentage is left is a pain!!
So I dug out the old O2 UI CAB and removed all the stuff except the battery monitor from the CAB file and I have attached it here for anyone else who wants it. I think this should work on other ROMs as I can't see anything specific to O2 in here. Would love to hear from anyone who can run it on Qtek, Imate, Dopod etc?

Ah, hadn't searched the forum.. Oops. Nice work you have done on it though.
I had the same problem with the missing icon and the little dots. This is due to the fact the code itself is trying to put something there so to remove it is not so easy unless you had the source.
Maybe one day I will get around to writing my own based on the look of this one. Just not enough hours in the day right now!!

Out of interest, I noticed your file is over 200K. Did you keep the original SETUP.DLL file from the original O2 CAB?
I junked this because it kept coming up with the options screen and I had to choose Corporate to bypass this. I used a SETUP.DLL file from another CAB which is much smaller.

I am working on that. I hate it and would like to clear it from the top bar!!

The same way you install any cab.
Copy it onto your device, browse to it with File Explorer and tap it. Accept the security warning and choose where you want it installed to.

Bell UI!!!!!!!

So the new bell ROM as been dumped by MIXXY over at ppcgeeks!! The UI is pretty sweet, and in my opinoin, much more intuitive than TF3D! I know nothing about working with ROMs, but can someone here possible rip the Bell UI and make it a cab for easy install for people? or maybe even tweak it out!?
I put this here rather than rom development cuz its for the UI, not necessarily building a rom.
Now the rom is for CDMA phones, so please don't try to flash it to your GSM. I flashed it, i'm on sprint, no issues at all and i'm loving it! EDIT: I never had an internet connection before flashing this, i had butchered my phone a couple days ago, so i dunno if the internet will work. according to juggalo, the bell authentication is different and won't allow it, but my phone calls work flawlessly.
if someone can test the internet using a sprint or telus phone, please post

This is point ui??? not just bell devs tweakin there own ui? it doesn't work like point ui tho, point ui has opposite scrolling when you finger flick... this bell ui does not

So far as i know, the programmer who did Point Ui worked together with the "Bell-Boys"

..a screen-shot would say more.

Well we are looking for someone to extract from this ROM the UI and create a CAB for an easy installation....But I'm trying to find out if you can install this in a phone from another carrier than BELL (Canadian CDMA company) if you don't have a CDMA phone don't even try to install this cause can't work....I hope this info can help you to understand a little bit more.

I have a German Xda Diamond. So I guess it won't work

well, actually, i'll update the OP, i never had an internet connection before flashing this, i had butchered my data connection a couple days ago, so i dunno if the internet will work. according to juggalo, it won't because of the bell authentication, but my phone calls work flawlessly... i won't know until i get my new diamond in on friday.

dude, i'm definetly diggin it! the contacts and everything... you don't even have to use the start bar anymore! everything is in the UI!!!
also, if you hit the HOME hardware button, the UI dissappears(really great if you want today plugins!), but you tap the top bar (where your signal bar, batter and Ev are) everything comes back
there is virtually no lag in this ui, i really really like it! Can't wait till sprint apps can replace some of the buttons, ie Video to Sprint TV

wm 6.1 pro

hey guys im still kind of new to this stuff. but right now i have windows 6.1 on my wing and its nice. but i seen a video on youtube with a wing that had 6.1 pro and it was AWESOME so i would like to know is there anywhere i can go and get that? oh yea and by chance can i ever downgrade back to the reg windows that came with the phone? and if i can do i just go to tmobile.com/wmupgrade ans starr from there?

What you have is already a PRO version as it is meant for all touch screen pocket pc device. Maybe you saw a different GUI effects which may be like TouchFLO 2D or so. If you can give a link to the YouTube video, we shall give you the suggestions.

That is not a "version" of or an iphone theme. It's just a ROM that has a lot of things put together to look like that. Looks like they have the old HTCHome with a skin on it, a Windows Mobile skin and S2U2 with a skin. It looks like an older ROM, actually, but I like the red theming. I don't know what ROM it is exactly, though. Oh, and that menu system is a somewhat buggy software... I forgot what it's called. It's hacked from an italian phone, I believe...

I do also Ivan ,thanks for that non useful paragraph. but can ANYBODY ELSE HELP ME????? im trying to see if i can get wm 6.1 pro or is that not released or something? as far for the themes when i download then and save them they never show up under my themes. could it be that im doing it wrong? i have aserg 6.1? do this ROM not let me use other themes?

1. You're rude.
2. It is not WM6.1Pro. Did you at all read what I wrote? 6.1 was never officially released for this phone, we (yes, I and others) ported it to this phone.
3. If you're not seeing them, you ARE doing it wrong.
Seriously, dude. I take my time to try to help some and you try to bite at the hand that feeds you. I could have done what everyone else does and said, " Search, noob!" Because truthfully, the answers ARE there if you bothered searching for the right things.
I even TOLD you what programs are being used, btw. That's about as much help as you could ask for.
It's not a THEME only, it's a SERIES of program. Let's quote me:

Now, if you searched for HTCHome you'd get the program called: HTCHome. If you searched S2U2, you'd get the program called: S2U2.

What should I do it my Wing.

I already flashed it to just stable, i have some apps on it, but nothing really done more then that.
Suggestions and links to some tutorials, or tell me how?

Well with some tweaking the Wing is really quite a great little device. First hit up the Cabs thread and try some stuff from there. I would recommend the following:
Midomi-Lets you let your phone "listen" to a song then tells you what the song is and who it's by and where you can find lyrics and download for it.
Nimbuzz-A GREAT freeware IM client that supports pretty much every thing under the dang sun.
Marketplace-Simply because its awesome and most of the good stuff is free.
Opera Mini-Because IE STILL sucks, and IMHO, IE6on6 is even worse than IE6 was.
Pocketwit-Nice Twitter client that has a cool Titanium home screen plugin that works with it too.
Uhm..hit up either that thread or http://wwwfreewarepocketpc.net or http://www.pocketpcfreewares.com for LOADS of stuff.

I dont have internet on my phone except for wifi.

how'd you get Pocketwit to install under wm6.5?? Everytime I try the install gets to 100%, then says "failed to run pockettwit.exe in /Storage Card/Pocketwit/pockettwit.exe"

Uhm, I just do heh. It's always just installed fine for me to my storage card. Now if you are talking about the homescreen link for quickpost, than yeah I get an error on that simply because its pointing to the wrong directory, but the program itself installs and works from the start screen fine. Maybe you should get a newer version from pocketpcfreeware...thats where I got my copy from.

Yes i already installed MAngo on Trophy and it works perfect, i have it from 3 days and its run awesome, very fast and stable..

One of the best upgrades I have made to my phone so far, although it took me 4 tries until I finally had mango unlocked XD.
Messenger integration with the phone is pretty nice (although buggy sometimes)

Mango is the bizniss! I had to tinker with my actual location to get access to services though. Live tiles for a lot of apps,stay away from the 3g if you're on prepaid.

I will also agree, Mango is well worth the upgrade, I have it on my Verizon HTC Trophy. Runs perfect and all the new features are worth it.

Doesnt even feel like a beta, perfect!

I haven't upgraded yet but from what i understand all settings, games etc will still exist after upgrade.
If you do need to download the game again, then the marketplace will recognise the previous purchase.

The applications did remain after the update, but I official updated the phone to mango.

Really ? Have you not looked or are you just being rude ? The info on this has been out on the net over a week now how to install this on a non-dev phone. You don't even need to unlock your phone.
This info is ALL over this site, never mind the big Win phone 7 sites...(check the WP7 areas on this site)

After reading that you could be installing it in 5 min, but, the whole process takes about 2-3 hours (so plan on not using your phone in that window)
I wrote the PPCgeeks page...btw it works awsome on the HTC Trophy.

It is pretty awsome but, keep in mind, it is a beta (there will be bugs) and make sure you keep your backup, you might need to restore back before you go to the final version. Your right, no Adobe flash but, you can install custom ring tones.

When i plug in phone will connect just 2 - 3 second and then disconnect.
