if it's in the extented rom you can just take the cab file from there

HELP PLEASE!! EASY

Hi!!
I've just updated my JJ to O2 ROM and looks nice. I've only one problem: Telephone's background is too dark on the top and I cannot see the handset icon. Therefore, I don't know if BT handset is connected or not.
Finally, I would like to find a solution for change background with a lighter one or to change the color of the icon from black to white.
Thanks to everybody!

Extract MS CAB-file from O2 Extended ROM?

I have an O2 XDA Mini S, but I use the Qtek ROM instead of the O2 one because I find it much more stable and much more responsive.
However, O2 have recently released a new ROM and I'd like to extract the MMS-related CAB-file from this ROM in case it's any different to the one from the original O2 ROM.
In the original O2 ROM the CAB-file is called "CAB-Shortcut-MMS1-JAVA5XX-VOICE-O2-31Oct05.CAB".
Does anyone know how to extract the .EXE that I can download from O2 and pull out just the MMS CAB-file?
Thanks,

Blackberry for my alpine

I have an XDA 2i I'm wanting to put the blackberry client on for use with O2's blackberry services.
As I understand it the latest o2 rom supports this, however I'd like to use it without all the rubbish that comes with it. Is there a custom rom available that covers what I'm after?
goto
ftp://xda:[email protected]/Uploads/Alpine/Extended ROMs
get this cab file inside this folder 'o2 Extended_ROM (English v1.11.171)'
BBConnect_HTC_PocketPC_BB_English_2.0.1.44-48.cab
Install it, and you have your Black Berry
no rom upgrades needed? just running the cab file will work?
-Yes.of course
if so, the camera pathces will also work running the cab filles?

Adding Touchflo to o2 Orbit

Hi there, im looking to put Touchflo on my o2 Orbit but have no idea where to begin so would love a simple step by step guide to doing so, if that is possible.
But any help would be much appreiciated.
You cant just add touchflo to your phone. It has to be in the rom already. Therefore you need to download & use one of the various roms available on these furums - i currently use Meschles latest Touch 4.01 rom.
Just find a cab file, try FTP.
