BT headset after a Hard Reset - JASJAR, XDA Exec, MDA Pro General

Hello.
Before doing a hard reset to my qtek 9000, had him paired with the my PC at home, the my PC in the work, and my BT headset Nokia. I did the hard reset and everything ran well. It follow, I paired well the qtek 9000 to the PCs that I referred. But now not with my BT headset. The qtek recognizes it as device BT, I select it, I click in "next", asks me to password, but afterwards, independently of the password that I put he never advance for the end of the connection. And what is strange is that the auricular pairs with others equipment. ...
should i reset some values on registry?

bluetooth headset doesn't work with o2 xda2

hi guys, i bought a new o2 xda2 from my friend. he also had a logitech hs02-v bluetooth headset working with it. i took the headset to try but it didnt communicate while the xda2 had paired it.
i tried other headsets but no one worked.
xda2 finds the headset, make a pairing(i enter the passkey 0000) and then nothing....
so please help me
Connect the headset to the PC using the utility provided and change the paskey to any other(Like 1234) and then try pairing it...
Most probably it should work fine...

Did you turn your "Bluetooth Profile ON"?
After you paired your bluetooth-device.
You need to turn bluetooth on (by click at bottom right at Bluetooth icon).
and To turn bluetooth headset on, You need to click at Bluetooth Profile to make it on.
The Bluetooth Profile is stay on your Today screen.
:?:  I have exactly same problem, using latest official rom and stuff - no bt tools or something.
Update: Works with BTTools  8)
Update of update: It seems that headset needs pairing each time after you turn it off and on.
I just got the logitech one this morning, it works ok with the MS stack, but I prefer using the widcom stack.
When I use the widcom stack the icon saying that I have the bluetooth headset is there, but the calls dont get channeled to it.
Is it possible to use the widcom stack for headsets? Or is it simply an incompatability?
ok i simply hard reset the device and the profiler brought bluetooth profile. now its ok.

Bluetooth Problems

Hi!
I have a Logitech Mobile Pro 2 headset.
It was working fine until yesterday. The ppc just forgot its settings and I tried to pair again. It does not pair anymore.
Pairing with other device worked fine tough.
I suspect that there are still some entries for this device in the registry (I already found some entries and erased them) and because of this the ppc thinks, it is not possible to pair with this device.
Before I make hard reset and have do all the installation again, does anybody have any idea, where in the registry I should look to clean up? Or any other ideas?
71 views and no answer?
nobody has any clue?
Do you have any unpaired devices you can test with?
I already made tests:
pairing the headset with other phone worked ok
pairing other phone with my pda worked ok
only pairing headset (which was previously paired with it) with my pda does not work
I would export your registry to your desktop and do a search for whatever you named your pairing and delete those keys on your phone.
I already tried to search in the registry with total commander...
how do I export the registry on my desktop???
I suddenly have the same problem with my Plantronics 590a
Hi,
I'm desperatly searching the forums for solutions for this problem, because i suddenly have the same.
A couple of days ago, nothing was wrong... My MDA Pro and my Plantronics Pulsar 590a had been paired for a couple of months, and life was good.
My headset would play the beautiful music my MDA streamed from the world wide web, and would happily switch to telephone mode on demand. Not a cloud in the sky...
But then, suddenly, after a day's worth of perfect operation, i received the message on my MDA that a bluetooth device called 'plantronics 590a' wanted to pair with the phone... Okay, i thought, and entered the top-secret passcode: '0000'. strangely, it did not accept the code, and the bond was forever lost...
I've tried several things, but havent been able to pair the two devices again...
here a list of bonds that i tried:
* my universal - my plantronics 590a = no bond, passcode not accepted (worked previously)
* a htc tytn - my plantronics 590a = no bond, passcode not accepted (worked previously)
* my universal - motorola h500 = succesful bond, only headset profile supported
* plantronics 590a transmitter - plantronics 590 headset = succesful connection
* motorola v3 - plantronics 590a = succesful bond, only headset profile.
* my universal - tomtom BT GPS receiver = succesful bond
needles to say, this is quite confusing...
my universal accepts other headsets,
my plantronics accepts other phones
but somehow they dont wat to pair together.
And if I try it on an other htc device with wm5 and a2dp, it also doesnt work anymore...
I've even called plantronics and t-mobile, but they dont understand the problem either... plantronics says it must be a phone problem, and the phone company (which are utter dimwits...) say it must be a headset problem...
Can anyone help me out?
my universal has the latest t-mobile NL rom on it:
ROM: 1.30.115 WWE
Radio: 1.10.03
ExtROM: 1.30.233 WWE
programs installed include:
Pocket ZenPhone
SPB pocket plus
Resco Explorer
Opera
Tweaks2k2
tomtom
wm5 storage
logmein remote control
SOTI pocket controller
My first BT headset had a feature to reset the headset, do your devices?
Pairing goes both ways and although the Universal isn't perfect in a lot of ways, neither are BT devices always faultless.
If you can do a reset on them, good. If not, pull the battery out (mind that warrenty!) for a while and try again.
resetting the headset
Hmzz.. resetting the headset... would need to remove the battery for that...
Sounds a bit tricky, I'd better call plantronics up for that again...
Thanks for the advice though!
Called plantronics today...
I rang plantronics up about this problem today, and suggested removing the battery to them. They said this can't be done without breaking the device, apparently they never replace the battery but just replace the entire device if there is something wrong...
i'm not quite sure if this is just to scare me off, but has anyone ever opened their pulsar? and if they did, how?
the only other option plantronics gave me is to send an email to their customer service, so they could have another look at the story...
I'm pretty pissed off right now, it's a bloody expensive headset, and plantronics keep telling me there is nothing wrong with it, and that it must be the telephone.
And the phone company says that it must be the headset...
aargh!
I'm being sent from the cubbard to the wall!
Well... thats a litteral translation of a dutch saying which basically means that you are being sent backwards and forth between two companies who point the finger at eachother..

Hi, First, you must set your bluetooth earphone ready to pair, turn on blue on your phone, choose setting bluetooth/devives/new parnership/ ...pair your blue and phone. pass to pair 0000.
Good luck.

headset password not stored in s200

I paired my bleutooth headset several times now. It connects allright but everytime I have to give the headset password . I thought pairing was needed only one time.
I hope somebody has an answer for me .
Hmm, perhaps an obvious question but how do you pair your device? What steps are you taking?
I had this problem once, every time I came into range of my carkit there was the bluetooth message a device was trying to pair and I had to give the password.
However once I removed the pair and did it again it worked properly...
Hello Raptor, thats exactly what happens.
I pair the first time the headset and the s200 by holding a button and then de s200 asks for the key, i klick finish and it works fine.
But nex time I want to use the headset whe recognizes the headset but asks for the key again.
Hmm.. that's kinda weird. Dunno if you can "reset" the headset in any way?
With my carkit the problem was (I think/guess) that the carkit remembered the pair with my s200, but since I upgraded the rom the s200 didn't know the carkit anymore. But since I used the same name etc on my s200 something might have gone wrong.
It could be however that when you try to pair with your headset and you have to enter the password a popup comes up saying a device is trying to pair with your s200. You have to ignore that popup and just pair from the bluetooth settings of the s200 (from where you started, not the popup).
At least that's what happened on the carkit lol Never had a problem with my headset though :/
So I did a reset on the carkit and removed the pair from the s200, then searched again for a bluetooth device on the s200, paired with password and then it worked properly.
Hello Raptor, I tried your option several times but the situation stays the same. But thx for your input.
Hmm.. does the headset have a password at all? Maybe you can leave the password entry empty? Although I'm afraid it wont.
But otherwise I hope someone else can help you with this :/
I'm speechless, this morning te headset connected without asking for the password.
Beats me, but i'm happy!
Greetings!

Blue tooth registry settings

I edited a setting in bluetooth settings in my registry now it won't pair up with my handsfree any more says network connection or invalid passkey. It pairs up with other blue tooth just fine but not my hands free. Any body have any ideas on how to fix.
Changed settings back and soft reset no go. Still won't pair
I tried the headset on another phone and it works fine. Also the 8525 will connect to other phones via bluetooth. When I try and pair the head set it ask me to type passkey(which is 0000). It tells me there is a network connection error or the passkey is wrong. Anyone know a way to fix this without hard reset
OK got the headset to pair now It won't rought anything through it
