All sounds to BT ??? - 8525, TyTN, MDA Vario II, JasJam General

Hi all !
Is it possible to send all sounds to the BT headset ? Not to the stereo BT headset, but to the normal one. It was easily possible with my old Universal.
Can anybody help ?
Thanx in advance,
Best regards.

BT Audio
I use a small program on my 8125 that sends ALL sounds to my h700. I can watch movies and listen to my mp3s wtihout having to plug in a corded ear piece.
Please see attched. It claims to work on most BT situations. Just unzip and copy the cab to your device. Run the cab from a file manager in your device and woila. It should appear in your programs.

Thank you. I've installed the program, it switches on the headset (i can hear a double "beep") but all sounds are still going through the Hermes internal speakers.... Strange...

Sorry it did not work.
I had the same problem too at first because I forgot to turn on my BT headset first.
Here is the information on the software I have been talking about.
Maybe you can get in touch with the author.
I wish you luck in finding a solution.

With this program, just start it up, and all of the sounds from your system will be rerouted from the internal speaker to your BlueTooth headset!

I wanted the exact same thing , all sound to my mono-bluetooth...since I just found bits and pieces everywhere, I decided to do my own cab file with all the settings that was required

Did you give a try to BTAudio (see above)??

I have a Dopod838 Pro - and I am trying to get all sounds to my BT headset.
When I have skype open and I press the "connect" button on my BT headset, VoiceCommander opens and all the sounds are sent to my BT headset; but only for 1 minute (until VoiceCommander shutsdown because he didn't recognize anything).
I have tried btaudio.cab provided in this thread, but it doesn't work. I have tried VJvobullis and many other apps that didn't work.
HELP!

Awesome, this fixed it (as posted above by Cybertron (thanks so much): http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=278778

My understanding is that BlueMusic from Teksoft routes all sounds to Bluetooth headsets. They specifically mention Skype as a compatible app. It's not free, but there is a free trial. www.teksoftco.com

I've got an Orange M3100 (also called HTC Hermes I think) and trying to use it with a BlueTrek G2 (a couple of yesrs old) to listen to music but also primarily for Skype.
I have tried all options on this link
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=281977
but none work. I get static in the headset when I use any of the applications mentioned on the above page but no sound is transferred from Skype (or Windows Media player).
Can anyone help

yes I did and it didn't work with Skype to direct the sound through the headset. I still came through the speakerphone even if other system sounds went through the headset

I tried this application on my 8525 and it did work, it took a long time to load though. One thing they do not mention is that it disables the voice dial on the BT headset. That doesn't work for me so I uninstalled it. That took even longer, about an hour of processing before it was done uninstalling itself.
There is a .cab file available elsewhere in this forum that does the same thing and someone came up with a way to toggle that on and off, sounds like a better solution than what this does.

finally audio out from ms stack

hi, finally there is software to enable the audio out from ms stack to bluetooth headset. but i tried on xdaii wm5 still cannot. can anybody especially buzz fix this? Get the software from below link.
http://www.beyondthetech.com/blogs/kjam/
audio out to headset
BTAudio Utilities
These utilities will allow you to turn on/off the redirection of all system audio audio to your Bluetooth Headset.
This requires NO other hacks or modifications to your i730.
The attached ZIP file contains 3 files:
BTAudioOn.exe
BTAudioOff.exe
BTAudioToggle.exe
DONATIONS
If you find these programs useful and would like to send me money, you can donate via PayPal here.
INSTRUCTIONS:
Unzip and place these files on your i730.
- To redirect all sound to your BT headset, run BTAudioOn.exe
- To stop redirecting sound, run BTAudioOff.exe.
- To toggle the redirection on and off, run BTAudioToggle.exe.
- The effects are immediate and the program will not display anything unless there is an error.
NOTES:
BTAudioToggle.exe does not authoritatively know what the current state of audio redirection is, it simply turns the redirection on or off, alternating each time it is run. It uses a temp file, \BTAudio.tmp, to track whether it should next turn on or off. Thanks to johntchow for the icon.
The /v command-line argument will display a sucess message. Failure messages are always shown. Also, if you know how to set up a shortcut, you technically don't need both .exe's. You can run BTAudioOn.exe with the /off argument and it will do the same thing as BTAudioOff. But since each file is less than 4k, which I think is the block size for the RAM file system, it would not actually save any space so what's the point.
This was made possible mostly due to the information at http://blogs.msdn.com/cenet/archive.../12/451012.aspx
Note; Buzz or any expert out there. Please make this utility work with xdaii wm2005c. Please.....Buzz?

Hey,
I've tryed the BTAudiotoggle.exe on my Xda Exec what happens is this:
It launches the voice command if I tap the screen the sound goes through the bluetooth headset but the it return back to the PDA.
Is the anyway that I can get the Audio going through the headset for as long that I need it then when I do not need it I can switch it manually back to the PDA.
Please can someone help me because I would like to try the Tom Tom Navigator 5 and see if I can get the sound through the bluetooth car kit which is a Parrot 3300.
Thank you.

I've managed to do it by using the information that can be found at http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?t=33756. If you set the registry value then the files work a treat (but are a bit redundant because you can switch the audio to/from headset using the button on it).

Possible solution - Listen MP3 via bluetooth headset

I find this bluetooth headset which the company said that it can be used to listen music via bluetooth headset. Simple installed a program call MSI BluePlayer for WM 5.0 and pair their headset.
Product : MSI Free Style FS110 (Attached photo)
Web site : (Chinese Only)
http://cweb.msi.com.tw/program/support/download/dld/spt_dld_detail.php?UID=619&kind=8
Non-official Web site : (English)
http://www.mobilewhack.com/reviews/msi_fs110_and_fs120_bluetooth_headest_music_transmitter.html
I tested my 818pro which cannot work properly. Actually, it can connect my i-tech R35 & 818pro and listen mp3 (stereo sound)....only 30s and said it only support MSI Product. (Attached a screen shot).
I need to buy this product and test whether it work. I will be updated this post.
Easier Fix
Try this program it just keeps your headset connected to your pda so you get streaming audio. good luck

That's a good question - it used to do it when I didn't WANT it to, and it hasn't in a long while... I would hit play in Windows Media Player and it would pipe through to my bluetooth headset.
I'll look into it - but off the top of my head I am guessing it was because I uninstalled Cyberon Voice Commander and the button map still held...
The sound wasn't all that great, but it functioned...
I'll see if I can reproduce it. I have reinstalled Voice Commander since.
did you mean you uninstall voice commander and system sound transfer to headset. How to uninstall voice commader, remove it from extrom???

A2DP for Alpine

Is there a download for A2DP for the Imate PDA 2 that is available and reliable ?
I see some of the other devices are getting this to work, but I haven't seen for the Alpine ? I'm trying to get this to work with a Bluesonic Blue ant bluetooth speaker. It works with the speaker in phone mode but the audio qulity is poor (phone quality).
A2DP is perfectly work on Alpine. Even with keys support!!!
Hmmm- I've had a reasonable go at trying. Anywhere i can get some information on how I should be doing this ? Maybe I am missing something ?
my xdaIIi run A2DP perfectly.
After you install the patch, setup an extra partnership with your BT earpiece or speaker whatever with the high quality audio mode under the BT manager.
After the setup, connect the device and press the talk button in your earpiece, play the music and the sould is perfect (almost)

No, I could not. The play/pause also did not work. However, I believe that they do work with TCMP (I use PocketMusic). Volume buttons work regardless. Also, the A2DP profile does not pair automatically with the R35 even if I press the Multi-Function Button!! But damn, the audio quality is amazing now.
All the media buttons work when used with my A2DP hacked Wizard (o2 XDA Mini S)

Thx, I got it! I might have a try with TCPMP player on my XDA IIi. I just wonder why they don't provide the AVRCP patch at the same time.
Anyway, I checkd the picture of XDA IIi's PCB board and found that the bluetooth module of XDA IIi is UGXZ5 which manufactured by ALPS, a japanese company. This UGXZ5 supports the Ver1.2 of bluetooth spec. However, HTC utilizes the bluetooth driver software that coming from Broadcom.
This may be an obvious question, but how do you install the BT patch mentioned above?
Cheers;

Download the CAB file to your PC, then transfer it with Windows Explorer or ActiveSync to your PPC (Go to My Computer and then Mobile Device or click Explore in the ActiveSync window) and then on your PPC use a file manager program (File Explorer) to browse to the directory you saved the CAB file to, and then click it. It should automatically install and then delete the original CAB afterwards.
Flawless; Thanks a lot.

Thanks

has anyone got A2DP to work with the htc820 + windows media player? I have had it working with tcmp but after taking a call the audio isn't rerouted via the headset?
Just pause TCPMP before answering phone. And then music will resume ok.

Play music through bluetooth headset?

Is it possible to play music through a bluetooth headset? Not a stereo headset, just a normal, mono headset.
If so, does it automatically pause the music when you get a call?
yes you can using the bt audio software on http://www.htcwizardweb.net/system/files?file=btaudio.zip
download it unzip it and copy the folder to your storage card or your pda and enable or disable it at your convinience. hope i was helpfull
I tried that BT Audio app with the 750, and it doesn't work. I also tried every media player I could find...still nothing.
Has anyone had success with this theory working? I need it in a BAD way.
Here is a .cab file that does what you want it to do.
First activate your Bluetooth unit. Then stream your music or whatever. Then turn on the software. It works quite well.
Enjoy !!!
What I do for my 8125 is activate the BT toggling program and then Mortplayer. I tie the two programs together using MortScript and then activate a playlist through voice command by creating a shortcut into the Programs file.

BEAUTIFUL THING
Bluetooth Audio
I've downloaded the bluetooth audio to my Samsung Blackjack II and installed it. I have tried several combinations of steps to get the music to play through my headset but I cant get it to work. Do you have any suggestions for me? Is there a specific bluetooth headset I need to get? Or did I just mess something up?
Hey thanks alot for this cab because I've been looking for this cab all over and finally you had the solution to my problem.....
I just installed that cab file and while it seems to function correctly by sending music to the earpiece on the phone, it does not send it to the BT device. The BT device acknowledges when the program is turned on and when it is turned off, but no sound is coming out.
I'm using a Blackjack2 and an Isymphony BT headset/speaker which is not stereo.
I just want to be able to hear my phone on my BT headset/speaker.
Is there some setting I'm missing? Does this program not work? Why for some and not others? Where can I find documentation? Who made that program?
Well, I dont know why you blackjack people are here(this being the Wizard forum and all!), but what I used to use on my Excalibur is the little shareware program called:BTAUDIO(link at bottom of post)
Its shareware in the fact that it only works for 30 minutes at a time, but it does indeed send ALL audio that the phone emits to your bluetooth headset.
Instructions:
1-Install BTAUDIO .cab to your phone
2-Activate your bluetooth headset, and put it in "find" mode
3-Goto your phones comm manager and turn Blueooth on
4-Now pair your headset with your phone
5-Start BTAUDIO
6-Follow the instructions on the screen and BAM, you are done!
I hope that helps!
DOWNLOAD LINK FOR BTAUDIO=

Thanks for the reply.
I gave this program a try and it didn't seem to work either. I'm guessing it's a BlackJack problem. That download appeared to be pretty much the same thing as the other link to the "BTaudio" program by Triangle but is limited to 30 minutes, like you said. The first link was not limited to 30 minutes. (so you might want to check that one out)
As for why the Blackjack guys are coming here I'm guessing it's the same reason I found this place. A Google search.
The Blackjack forums don't seem to have any solution other than... "go spend another $75 on a new set of headphones"
Myself, I want to use a BT mono speaker for listening to mono recordings and don't really want a stereo headset.
Thanks for all your help!

This one is very nice. I can't speak for others, but here is what I've learned in a short time....

Bluetooth Mono Headset + Redirect sound to it

Hi,
I been trying the BtAudioNav to redirect sound to my bluetooth hands-free but it doesn't work on my Trinity.
Anyone has try it with success?
Most mono-headsets do not support the A2DP profile.... so it is to be expected that this doesn't work for music and stuff...
However, i had it working once on my old Fujitsu Loox 600...can't remember how i did that though, but it has a different BT stack anyway...
Or do you just mean the phone-calls being redirected does not work ? Please try to be a bit more specific
Phone-calls works but for example redirect sound from GPS soft to headset not!!. With BtAudioNav should works but with my Trinity not.
Not all phones are capable of directing all audio to the mono bluetooth headset using the handsfree/headset audio gateway profile. Many of them are designed to ONLY stream voice calls. I'm not sure if this is due to the hardware or software (possibly a combination?), but some phones are capable of streaming/redirecting all audio entirely (as well as mic input) to the mono headset. I guess the Trinity doesn't. I've only heard of a few phones that actually work with that BT audio utility you're using, and they seem to be mostly older models, but that's just a guess. Anyway, perhaps there's a way to redirect all audio through the stereo bluetooth profile instead?
1. Copy the folder BTAudio and its contents to \Program Files
2. Using a registry editor amend the following entries from:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\OEM\VoiceCommand
Path = \Program Files\BTAudio\BTAudioOn.Exe
VoiceCmdDuration = 86400 (DEC) = 24 hours

Yes, can you please be more specific as to how this works? Does it interfere with voice dialing or making/receiving calls?
I have an Axim X50v which works just great with Skype and my mono Flamingo BT headset. Now I have an HTC P3600 and Skype won't work through the headset.
Bloody technology seems to go backwards :-(

got my Jabra BT250v without knowing these issues. on discovering that my jasjar was not capable of audio re-direction to Jabra.....I was shattered. ROM upgrades r scary to say the least.
after a day of frantic search & many failed softwares, this one did the trick. 'qyach'.....many thanks for this.
now my Jasjar & Jabra work perfectly with TCPMP & Skype. Voice command continues to work from the Jasjar mic.
I couldn't ask for more.
THANK U ONCE AGAIN !!!
Tried VJVolubilis, Bluemusic and BTAudio (with both of the 2 registry hacks referred to in this thread). None of them worked on my Trinity. Would very much appreciate someone shed more light on this issue.

Doesn´t work on my Trinity
Edit: don´t know why but now it works. Only that I have to press the voice dial button twice (?)
Hi,
I got the Motorola T305 to connect to my TyTN and the audio gateway routed to the T305. Everything sounds great but I get this annoying beep once every 5 seconds. Does anybody know how to get rid of it?
Thanks,
Sean
JUST SORTED IT on my TRINITY all workin fine
Only problem is, as the article suggest it disables the voice commands!! I can live with this as I only want to stean the TOMTOM voice when using the satnav while walking or on my bike.
What I had in mind was a a couple of icons, one to make the registry changes for the BT Audio streaming and the other icon to toggle back (ie change the registry back to voice comand via the BT headset). As far as I can see (once BTaudioOn.exe is copied to my Trinity) the only difference between turning my Jabra BT250v into an audio streaming headset and a phone headset are the two registry changes; and then change them back to give me a Phone headset again.
Can anyone tell me if this is possible to use a .REG file?
Can it be written on a PC and then copied to the Trinity so that it runs?
Will reg files run the same on a PDA and they do on a PC?
Thanks in advance
New app?
Can anyone make an app in which you can configure which feature you want?
1) Change to Voice Dail
2) Change to Voice Command
3) Change to a redirection program like BTAudio.
and got to set the delaytime too
Destination Gotland Bluetooth Mono Sound.cab
I installed this, no registry changes, etc. and it works great. you toggle between unit speaker and the headset by hitting the button on the BT headset. It is great for Skype.
The Cab is in the Zip. I think I picked it up off the tutorial here:

Battery Problem
OK, the solution I posted does work well. However it just killed my battery life. I think that whenever the BT is paired, even in the regular mode (not streaming to the mono BT) it uses the full amount of battery as if it was streaming to it. I think the battery life was even reduced without a paired headset as long as BT was not disabled.
I guess I am still looking for a better solution too.
