Hi,
I have a Motorolla Bluetooth HS850 with Dopod 818Pro. I feel that the sound in my headset is a little too low eventhough the In-Call volume & the headset volume are all the way up already. It's like when I'm walking on the street, I have to press the BT headset in to my ear to hear clearer.
Is there a software to make the BT headset louder or perhaps a registry tweak?
Any comment / help would be greatly appreciated. Thx
PS: I used the same HS850 with O2 Xphone II and it was much louder. So, I don't think it's the headset.

Could someone please confirm that a2dp is a selectable option? Using either the Motorola 820, Jabra bt620s and/or the Sony Ericsson HBH-DS970. Also could somebody look in the registry setting HKLM/SOFTWARE/Microsoft/Bluetooth/A2DP/Settings/. I do appreciate it and thank you for assistances.
I can confirm that my Motorola HT820 works perfectly, both for calls and music/videos. And the sound quality over a2dp is far superior to that of the Universal, I get none of the audio artifacts when listening to music, it sounds perfect.
I can confirm nokia hs-12w stereo headset working with controls

Hi all I got the Jabra 8010, All controls and A2Dp works great. However not sure if this is a bug but all Audio is redirected to the headset thus muting the phone. I.e. no ringer no key press sounds etc. all is redirected through device. This can be a little bit annoying as sometimes i miss calls.
Using Motorola HT820 and Jabra BT800, and I don't have that problem.
Are you able to try a different model of headset and see if the problem still occurs?

Dear All, does anyone know how to adjust BT headset volume on wm2003 with XDA II? I am using OEM version of wm2003 and my BT headset does not allow me to adjust the volume, it seems very loud and my ear can't handle it at all, thanks.
Hello,
Is there any possibility to increase the sound level of a Kyser when it is connected to a JABRA BT headset ?
The sound level of my Jabra headset is already at 100% :-(
Best Regards

I returned the BT8040 for the Motorola H12...I am hoping the Jawbone 2 is readily available soon so I can compare the H12 with the Jawbone 2.

Guys,
I've bought a Sony HBH-DS200 as a new headset for my Hermes. First impression: great! The headset sounds good, and AD2P works fine after installing the AD2Pfix for the Hermes.
But here is the problem:
The headset hasn't got a volume switch for phone calls, the volume had to be controlled from the Hermes. But when I try to change the volume with the volume bar on my Hermes, the volume on the headset won't change. And that's very anoying because the volume is too loud (and a little bit crapy).
When I'm listening music (AD2P) I can change the volume.
When I pair the headset with my Nokia I can control the volume and the sound for phonecalls is much brighter then on the Hermes.
Because I'm using CRC's ROM, I just reflashed my device to the orginal HTC ROM but the issue also persist with this rom.
Any ideas?
Note: I have also a Parrot CK3100 for my Hermes, I just checked: the same issue! But I never noticed it because the Parrot has a volume control.
Hi, i've the some problem with my plantronics free hands...
i can't control in-call sound with my bluetooth...
any idea?
I have tried the following (without any succes):
- adjusting the registry setting "spk volume" see this topic. I can make this setting but after resetting the device the dword is removed (and the volume isn't changed)
- Installed the Widcomm stack, after installing the ad2p signal is far too loud and the phonecalls aren't redirected to the headset
No solution yet, I will continue
im ot sure if this will help .... but i have the same HBH-DS200 a2dp headphones i had a slight annoyance with the sound being to low, on the head set hold the play button in when the set is turned on - turns the volume up on the headset! - hope this worked
I have the Plantronics 590's and can control the volume during a call from the headset. I am using CRC's 13.0 rom. I do not have the hermes A2DP fix on my phone and never have.
Hi everyone,
I tried a few bt headsets for my diamond, but every of them had the same problem. (The best, but also not satisfing headset was the jabra bt 135)
In every tested headset I nearly had to shout in the mic to make the caller understand me.
Calling someone with wired headset delivered with diamond is no problem the build in mic is also working fine.
Is there any app or reg key to increase mic volume for a bt headset?
Or any suggestion which model I have to use?
Thanks for your help.
