Screen off and selected buttons - JAMin, XDA Neo, S200 General

Hi, does anybody know of an application that allows you to turn off the screen and select particular hardware buttons to disable rather than all of them? i would like to disable the phone dial button on the prophet as it keeps dialing numbers when in the belt clip.
Thanks
Dave.

Handsfree on S100

Hi,
Actually the S100 uses a long press on green button to activate the handsfree. I need a "tap method" to activate it instead, for a person with a phisical disability. Can anybody help me?
Thank you

Locking Screen

I've noticed that when my JAM's in my pocket, I have a tendancy to press parts of the screen with my fingers. I found a program that locked the screen, but I couldn't unlock it again so I had to take the battery out. How does everyone get around this?
Also, is there a way to map a bluetooth serial port? I can't seem to get my JAM working with my tomtom GPS reciever, but on my last PDA, an iPAQ 4150, I could map all incoming bluetooth connections to a com port.
Go to settings > system > button lock.

Have you tried ScreenLock for PocketPC? It will turn off your display and lock your hardware keys. To unlock it you need to press buttons 1 and 4 at the same time. Check under Buttons in settings and find out what you have designated as buttons 1 and 4. That should do it. It's also Freeware. You can get it at http://www.freewareppc.com/utilities/screenlockforpocketpc.shtml
Screenlock works great, thanks . Any ideas about the bluetooth serial port though?
You could try gpsgate.

I dont know how this reply got into this thread, I was replying to somebody who wanted to reassign com ports :?: :?: :?:
You could try Deltalock as well at only 20Kb. You can configure the buttons to unlock the screen (requires pressing two buttons).

Help Qtek s200 and I-mate Jamin navigation Pad

Hi,
When I had an imate jam and whilst using the phone gui if I pressed the navigation pad towards the right it would bring up call history, and if I looked up a contact it would keep that contact highlighted when (in cache) for the next time I go to contacts. These were great features.
I now have the Qtek S200 ( I mate Jamin ) with windows mobile 5 and the navigation pad whilst using the phone is redundant. Is there anything I can do to get these features back on my qtek s200 e.g. registry hacks etc.
thx in advance

SPV M600 & MS Voice Command v1.5

Hello all,
Just thinking about purchasing a SPV M600 as a back up phone to M5000. Without using a bluetooth headset HTC can be a littly bricky to hold as phone. Used VC constantly with M5000 can I presume rightly that there is no problems with Voice Command installations on SPV M600? Thanks for taking to the time to and hopefully supply an answer.

No problems at all with voice commands for contacts apps etc, you can even configure one of your buttons to activate voice command. I can call anyone on my contact list with the press of 1 button
Voice Command v1.5
Thanks for giving your comments. Reaaly helpful in making my purchasing decision.
Altough you can use MS Voice Command 1.5 on the Prophet, you can experience peformance problems. You will also notice that changing your SIP could take a long time (i.e. changing INPUT from Keyboard to something else).
The problem is not the Prophet but MS Voice Command and WM5. The software has not been optimised for WM5 :-(

Navigation Key in QTEK 9000 (WM5)

I had a qtek 9090 and the navigationkey, if pressed left, showed list of all calls; if pressed down, showed speed dial list.
NOw, on my qtek 9000, in "pda style" (screen vertical), the navigation key does not allow same things.
Can we change it? how?
Thanks
moved to universal
