Hi,
When I had an imate jam and whilst using the phone gui if I pressed the navigation pad towards the right it would bring up call history, and if I looked up a contact it would keep that contact highlighted when (in cache) for the next time I go to contacts. These were great features.
I now have the Qtek S200 ( I mate Jamin ) with windows mobile 5 and the navigation pad whilst using the phone is redundant. Is there anything I can do to get these features back on my qtek s200 e.g. registry hacks etc.
thx in advance

Hi,
i'm planning to buy a new Qtek 2020i (PDA2) and I want to be sure that (when will be available) I can install windows mobile 2005.
And another little thing, the screen is more visible with the sun light compared to the S100 - Jam ???
Thanx to everybody !
Bye
No you can't, and it's the same screen technology as the Jam, but bigger.
Hi, does anybody know of an application that allows you to turn off the screen and select particular hardware buttons to disable rather than all of them? i would like to disable the phone dial button on the prophet as it keeps dialing numbers when in the belt clip.
Thanks
Dave.
hi,what's your phone model ? qtek s200 ,spv m600 ...
Hi, it's an SPV M600.
Hi, I'm looking for a software... smile
I have a S200 with TomTom Navi Software and a working SIM card.
I look now for a software that runs on the S200 with the following possibilities:
- I send a SMS form another cell phone to the S200
- S200 should activate TomTom
- S200 should get the coordinates from TomTom
- S200 should send this coordinates back to the other cell phone
Any one some ideas?
thanks
I had a qtek 9090 and the navigationkey, if pressed left, showed list of all calls; if pressed down, showed speed dial list.
NOw, on my qtek 9000, in "pda style" (screen vertical), the navigation key does not allow same things.
Can we change it? how?
Thanks

Hello, there!
Development is good, but not always!
I've started using my Qtek S100 again!
It's unbeatable!
The Qtek S100 advantages:
1. No UMTS problems! With the current UMTS operators in Sweden, it's impossible to stream audio and video from their portals using the Tytn! And HTC suggests that all of the operators should change formats nationwide, so that it all eventually works!!!
2. Using one of the patches in this forum, the sound in the Qtek S100 is excellent together with the Motorola HT820. It's A2DP and it's really in stereo!
3. It's easy to create new messages, contacts, etc, and it's only one click away on the today screen!
4. The Scandinavian Tastatur (soft keyboard) beats HTC's own. The characters are right where you want them, and easily accessible!
4. It's small and comparatively light!
5. It's battery life in stand-by is well over 5 days!
6. It's stable and has few irritating bugs!
7. And who really thinks a keyboard is worth that much additional weight?
So who really needs a Tytn?
The Qtek S100 clearly comes out as the winner, in my opinion!
Regards,
Manne
thanks dude some nice points but a few pictures wouldn't hurt, especially side by side
