Can you have multiple active BT connections on the Tytn?
I would like to connect my Tytn to my Parrot handsfree and simultaneously to a GPS Receiver.
Is this possible?
Yes, it's possible. I regularly have both a headset and a GPS device connected at the same time...
that's great. thanks for the response!
How have you managed to do this? I have an Audi A6 with BT kit and when I receive calls whilst using TomTom, i can receive the call but nothing comes through the speakers.
I am running TT 5.21 and have outgoing port COM0 and incoming COM9, Audi kit is set up correctly (i.e. for headset)
Any help much appreciated

Hello,
I wonder if the i-Mate Jam can make 2 bluetooth connections at se same time. I explain myself. I want to make a BT connection with my GPS and also with my BT Handsfree Car Kit.
If this is possible I can use the TomTom soft earing the indications trought the speakers of the car.

Yes it can, I use the TomTom Bluetooth GPS and the BT Jabra 200 headset at the same time with no problems.
I use the standard magician bluetooth stack, no tools or upgrades or anything.
I can confirm this. I tried it with a TomTom Bluetooth GPS and a Jabra BT-250. It worked with the standard bluetooth stack.

Can anyone help in setting this up?
I have been able to configure TT5 with another GPS BT reciever and phone calls with the Parrot.
Any help would be appreciated.
Pair the jasjar with the parrot and make sure you enable both the headset and the serial port.
The carkit will pair with the phone.
Create a new outgoing serial port to the parrot and choose com0.
Disconnect the carkit from the phone using the carkit menu.
Fire up tomtom and configure it to use bluetooth com0
it should connect and then the carkit should connect back to the phone for handsfree.
I'm pretty sure thats how I got it working.
I have upgraded my BA to WM6 and have found that when using the BT GPS that the GPS will disconnect when I turn on the BT handsfree headset.
Can anyone provided me with some assistance to allow multple BT sessions to be connected.

Thanks baniaczek I will give that a try
baniaczek I have made the changes but it will still not allow gps and headset to connect at the same time.
My problem was this on a Hermes running WM6:
When using TomTom Navigator 6 with an iBlue BT GPS receiver, if I take/make a call with my SonyEricsson HBH-IV835 BT headset, the headset becomes disconnected after approx 30 seconds. In order to be able to use the headset again, it must be turned off/on.
I fixed it by NOT selecting to use "serial port" after the iBlue was paired. I set the program port to com6 and the hardware port to com0. Works both with TomTom and Google maps.
Yeah I had this too.
try this it worked for me: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=328982
good luck
I am using an Bluetooth I-Blue 737 GPS receiver and a Bluetooth Nokia CK-7W Car kit for receiving & making calls.
When the GPS receiver is connected and I receive a phone call, the pda rings but when i answer the call with the bluetooth car kit the call fails after a few seconds.
Has anyone else experienced problems with multiple bluetooth devices connected at the same time?
Is it possible to have both working together?
I have a Nike and also got a Jabra BT3030 bluetooth headset and a Freecom keychain GPS.
When the GPS is connected and I turn on the headset, the GPS drops out, is there a way to have them both running together?
Thanks
Jonny
I use a Dual too, and in my car I have:
Parrot hands-free (BT)
GPS receiver (BT)
Each time I enter my car, the parrot detects and connects to dual, and the GPS conects either.
Even when I am in call the gps continue to refresh without problems
It works with my other bluetooth head set but this jabra one is a stereo headset with hands free.
