Can anyone help in setting this up?
I have been able to configure TT5 with another GPS BT reciever and phone calls with the Parrot.
Any help would be appreciated.
Pair the jasjar with the parrot and make sure you enable both the headset and the serial port.
The carkit will pair with the phone.
Create a new outgoing serial port to the parrot and choose com0.
Disconnect the carkit from the phone using the carkit menu.
Fire up tomtom and configure it to use bluetooth com0
it should connect and then the carkit should connect back to the phone for handsfree.
I'm pretty sure thats how I got it working.

Hello,
Apparenlty does the bluetooth carkit Nokia CK-7W supports all bluetooth phones that have BT Handsfree profile.
Does the qtek support this Bluetooth Handsfree profile or does it supports only the headset profile.
or are they the same BT profile?
Thanks
sorry....
You wonn't be able to use it....although you can pair it the profiles don't match.
I own a bluetooth Nokia CK-1W carkit (has the same problem) and it's been difficult to use with my Qtek.
But for now i can receive calls via carkit. Better then nothing at all (if you don't want to remove the carkit).
You must install the Pocket Bluetooth Tools http://www.angeltowns.com/town/bluetooth/
Install it and delete any paired device you have.
Pair up with the carkit and select HEADSET profile.
Then, when the phone rings, bluetooth turns on automaticaly and pairs up with the carkit, then you press the Nokia button and talk.
It works for receiving calls through loudspeaker only.
I've contacted the author of the Pocket Bluetooth Tools and he already knows this bug and should be fixed next release.
Thanks for your answers.
Apparently this new nokia carkit has the pretency to be universal.
If the BTtools can help older carkits, I suppose we can expect that we may make this new one work with the qtek.
Or you can try the Ericssion HCB-30. I have that installed and it works everytime. Now all I need to figure out is how to boost the antenna power of the XDA unit
he HCB 30 works fine. I'm testing now a techart carkit.
Does any one have tested this nokia carkit?
This could be a very good alternative for BT carkits.
Can you have multiple active BT connections on the Tytn?
I would like to connect my Tytn to my Parrot handsfree and simultaneously to a GPS Receiver.
Is this possible?
Yes, it's possible. I regularly have both a headset and a GPS device connected at the same time...
that's great. thanks for the response!
How have you managed to do this? I have an Audi A6 with BT kit and when I receive calls whilst using TomTom, i can receive the call but nothing comes through the speakers.
I am running TT 5.21 and have outgoing port COM0 and incoming COM9, Audi kit is set up correctly (i.e. for headset)
Any help much appreciated
I've got a BT stereo headset (HTC S100) and also BT in my car (Ford). I'm not trying to use them simultaneously (no point), I just want the headset to work properly when I'm using that and then when I get in my car I want the Tytn to connect to my car BT and to work properly with that. At the moment if I want to use my headset I have to go into BT settings and untick "Handsfree" for the car BT device and soft-reset, then I have to do some tinkering on the headset and make a phonecall before it will kick in and behave. Then when I want to use it in my car I have to DELETE the headset from my BT devices (unticking the boxes is not enough), check the "Handsfree" option under the Ford BT device and then soft-reset before it will work.
Why the hell can't the phone just use the headset properly when that's on and connected and then when I'm in the car use the Ford BT properly? Why does having two devices configured interfere with eachother when they're not actually being used simultaneously?!! It's ridiculous, I reckon it's the MS BT stack, what a load of $hite!
Any ideas what I can do? I've tried the JETware handsfree extension, has made no difference.
I have upgraded my BA to WM6 and have found that when using the BT GPS that the GPS will disconnect when I turn on the BT handsfree headset.
Can anyone provided me with some assistance to allow multple BT sessions to be connected.

Thanks baniaczek I will give that a try
baniaczek I have made the changes but it will still not allow gps and headset to connect at the same time.
My problem was this on a Hermes running WM6:
When using TomTom Navigator 6 with an iBlue BT GPS receiver, if I take/make a call with my SonyEricsson HBH-IV835 BT headset, the headset becomes disconnected after approx 30 seconds. In order to be able to use the headset again, it must be turned off/on.
I fixed it by NOT selecting to use "serial port" after the iBlue was paired. I set the program port to com6 and the hardware port to com0. Works both with TomTom and Google maps.
Yeah I had this too.
try this it worked for me: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=328982
good luck
hello,
i have a handsfree carkit (parrot 3200) and a gps mouse (holux). if i want to start my navigation (tomtom6 or route66) no gps signal was found, cause my handsfree is connected with my wizard. disconnecting the handsfree allows me to connect my gps mouse. after this connection, it is also possible to connect my handsfree.
is their any program, that allows my wizard to connect more than one receiver?
thx
