To see the photos click on the word "aqui" next to the arrow on the second post i made and you will be taken to the gallery.
THe only diference is on the outside, all the features are the same, it's just a new face.

It really looks like the m500 from Orange, on the fron the only difference is the 3 holes on the top of the screen.
All the rest seems the same

The camera is quite good under good light conditions .
Engadget and Pocket Now (dot) com have got there reviews of the European Xperia Play. Check the links and discus below.
Engadget:- http://www.engadget.com/2011/03/28/sony-ericsson-xperia-play-review/
Pocket Now (dot) com:- http://pocketnow.com/android/sony-ericsson-xperia-play-review
Pocket Now says that there is a 720p HD video and 5 megapixel back camera plus a front camera.
Engadget says there is a 480p video and 5 megapixel back camera plus nothing said about a front camera.
One thing I have been wanting to find out since my N1 is lacking a front camera.
Regards,
Matthew
Also, Engadget says the screen is very dim, Pockernow says its very bright(and count as pros).
Other than that Play records WVGA video according to GsmArena.
On the dutch sony ericson site it is indeed marketed as having a VGA front camera. It also states the bakc camera is 5.1 megapixels but not stating anything about 720p recordings, did read about 720p recordings though.
I've seen different information everywhere

There is a front camera, I tried it in Sunday and its not great....
Video is WVGA.
Screen is bright.
Pocketnow review was much closer to my experience.

thank you, the reviews never seem to get this right or just seem to leave it out
it is the number 1 thing I look for in a new handheld
Also, the battery seems good to me. I had two units on demo 9-5 on Sunday, they were on 9 and 11% be the end, they didn't get any proper recharging, just being topped up a minute or two if there was a gap in people coming to play on them, otherwise they were in use nearly all the time.
has anyone managed to get a pre order from t-mobile UK? i wanted to upgrade and get the play but last time i called, (20th of this month) they didn't have it yet
i checked there coming soon page and its there
also, most people i have spoken to agree the engadget review was crap while the pocknow review was more indepth

Cheers from me as well. I will share my experiences with everyone when I get it hopefully Friday, maybe Monday.
Hi all,
I love taking photos with my phone. It is my primary camera and I use a variety of camera apps.
I thought it would be nice to see some of the photos that you guys are taking with your phones but in order to keep it simple each user should upload only one photo and that photo must be taken with a G2 or a Desire Z.
So I'll start. The photo was taken a few weeks back with MIUI camera app. No editing and no filters. Enjoy
Wow, this is fun!
If no other photos show up I'll just take it as a sign that my photo was so awesome that noone wanted to post after it
pic
i was walking home from college when i saw this hot blond bend over, luckily i took a pic
So I took this at the Singapore airport *wink* *wink*
I don't have too many interesting photos but i have an awesome video of a friend of mine blowing fire out of a water bottle haha. He filled it with deodorant, then put a burning paper down the nozzle of it and it became a torch when he squeezed the bottle xD. 720p videos are great
All of these were taken with MIUI's Camera app.

Took at the parking lot of my work place. Not exciting, but looks good for an original, no filter, no effect phone camera picture
Here are some from the Melbourne F1 Grand Prix on the weekend.
