Question regarding M5000 today screen.

I have the exec jasjar and am wondering if I can add that nifty little menu on the left side of my today screen like on the M5000?

You're probably thinking of the orange operator plugin. You need to check your extended rom for something like eg hermes_uk_build_93_clock.cab (at least on my hermes).
But the plugin is distributed on this forum repackaged.

That side menu reduces features compared to Windows original today menu. Dang I like the Windows Media player on the front screen in minimized position ^^. That side menu is good for managing contacts and making a quick phone call. But I dont think you will be able to use it in future ROM's.

I searched and cant find it either on the forum or in the ext rom, can you point me in the right direction?

When I upgraded to the new HTC Artemis I let my wife inherit my Magician, but she is not that in to PPC, so the question is:
Is there a skin suit (WisBar Adv Desktop or something) available that could make the phone more like a "normal" cell phone? She does not realy need all the fancy suff, but she uses tomtom, media player, SMS, MMS, Phone, Contacts, Calendar, IE, phonealarm profiles and phonealarm MMS, SMS, missed call notifications.
Preferably all functions should be available from today screen as large icons.

Seach for the Orange today plugin. Make it looks very much like a normal phone (that's why I don't use it )

This is just what I'm looking for, sadly it does not run on PPC2003SE :-(
I guess the same thing could be made as a WisBar theme, maybe it already is, but just hard to find ;-)

You might just want to look around for any old thread/forum/post that has this Orange plugin. As Orange does have a Magician release that has that today plug-in (eg they DO have a plugin for 2003). Good luck.

I'm not sure if this helps, but if you were to use cLaunch to set up the Today screen .. 'nicely', you may able to make it looks simplier. Take a look at the iPhone cLaunch skin here. Note: cLaunch maybe a bit troublesome to setup.

Hi experts,
Can anyone tell me under today plugin how to display telco name for WM6?
Is there anyway to do so as sometimes i might need to travel between different countries.
I'm using O2 Atom Life and I don't wish to use the default plug-in.

Pardon me, is it the service provider name is there on the screen by default? how could be yours aren't display.

It is the name of the service provider (telco).
Mine will only be shown if one of the plugin called 'date' is selected.

[Looking for] Today plugin to toogle wifi, radio and bluetooth

Hi all,
I'm looking for a small today plugin that would allow me to toogle wi-fi, bluetooth and radio at the touch of an icon. Simple, straightforward and lightweight.
I know there are already applications that do it, like Phoneweaver and others, or Vijay's Volubilis (command-line only), but I'm really looking after that simple and effective plugin -- I'm sure it has to exist somewhere.
And if one could customize the icons to use for the toggles, it would be heaven

Hi, this works good for me.

You can also look for BatteryStatus today plugin. It has an TrayLaunch, with I use to activate wlan, bluetooth (a2dp) and can also deactivate phone. Very customizable.

Battery Status give you the option of placing Bluetooth, Wifi and Phone in the Systray. Very handy...and takes minimal space.

I tried that BatteryStatus, but it doesnt give me the "traylaunch" tab. i asked about that, but the developer couldnt assist me. if you can help me, i have a kaiser att tilt tytnii, many names.

Which version are you using? All the versions have got it now.

O2 Germany... need help!!!

In attempt to change my OS language from German to English, I have burnt original HTC WWE ROM, now I'm missing the notorious "homezone" indicator! Can anyone give me a clue... any plugin/software/CAB!! or even desperate actions like changing to O2 UK ROM?? (sounds like an over-kill... not sure whether even this will do the job) I've dug through forums and found no help.

Try the attached. Should work for you. It provides a Today item
which has to be enabled in Today Setting after install.
When you are in Homezone it indicates it with a house symbol
on the today screen.
Please report if it works.

I can verify that the plug-in is displaying "homezone" icon while I am in mine, I will check if it disappears correspondingly (though I dont have any doubt).
One comment: it needed a soft-rest to work for me.
I think this is the first working plug-in on Polaris forum for O2-Germany homezone issue, may be we can add this to wiki etc!

for BatteryStatus (standard or advanced), which also displays
the homezone symbol in the BS status line when ticked in options.
Plugin name is BSHome and I am using it myself on bepe's WM6.1 0.64
