Hi!
In attempt to change my OS language from German to English, I have burnt original HTC WWE ROM, now I'm missing the notorious "homezone" indicator! Can anyone give me a clue... any plugin/software/CAB!! or even desperate actions like changing to O2 UK ROM?? (sounds like an over-kill... not sure whether even this will do the job) I've dug through forums and found no help.
Thanks!
Try the attached. Should work for you. It provides a Today item
which has to be enabled in Today Setting after install.
When you are in Homezone it indicates it with a house symbol
on the today screen.
Please report if it works.

Waooo! That was great help!
I can verify that the plug-in is displaying "homezone" icon while I am in mine, I will check if it disappears correspondingly (though I dont have any doubt).
One comment: it needed a soft-rest to work for me.
I think this is the first working plug-in on Polaris forum for O2-Germany homezone issue, may be we can add this to wiki etc!
Danke Shön! (Tons of thanks )
Thanks, mate! Glad I could help!
Btw, another working alternative is using the homezone plugin
for BatteryStatus (standard or advanced), which also displays
the homezone symbol in the BS status line when ticked in options.
Plugin name is BSHome and I am using it myself on bepe's WM6.1 0.64
Available HERE

Hello all,
So I got me a QTEK 9000 with the following set:
ROM Version : 1.13.64 WWE
Radio Version : 1.03.00
Protocol Version :42.36.P8
Here's a few probs I have:
1.) I'm missing that darn BTIcon in my tray. Can anyone post a link to a CAB file enabling me to install the sucker?
2.) When applying the manual VGA tweak for 640X480 res I do not see the Windows Start icon or any other icon in the top bar besides time displayed on the top righthand side.
Please advice and/or provide BTIcon.CAB specifically for HTC Universal or QTEK 9000. I tried all the other options on this website already.
Thanks,
D
Aaah come on people. No one that can help me out here?
So no BT icon on settings/comms?

Hello Dream,
Thanks for the advice but in my opinion something as simple as a Bluetooth icon should be solveable without referting to a complete ROM change. Please advice.
Best regards,

thank you thank you thank you.
I am just curious, when you say BT icon, are you referring to the small icon on the tray that shows the connection for the phone, BT, WiFi, and All?
Hi,
Regarding your missing icons in VGA mode. The 96.dll files have been "signed" with a developers certificate (SDK) therefore you need to load the SDK certificate on to your system before these system resources will be permitted to operate.
There should be a file called SdkCerts.cab which you need to install first.
Please note that the use of the SDK certificates will pose a security risk to your system.

Hi guys,
I was trying different ROM's on my Universal today, to see what the different operators were offering. When I came across the Orange Today Plugin. I like the idea of it, but not the setup.
So, I was wondering if anyone here knew how to add, remove, or change the items in this plugin ?
I did a little search of the forum for an answer to this question, but it seems i'm looking to do the opposite to what everyone else is doing.
re
could u be more specific...
In this screen dump, you can see the plugin.
I'd like to be able to change the selections and the links in each selection.
For example, change the five links in the Web selection of the screen dump to five of my own URL's.
Or better still, add or replace one of the selections in the plugin with one that points to My Device. That when highlighted would have links to 'My Docs' 'SD Card' 'Program Files' etc.
I hope that makes sence.
I'm searching the same solution.

Hi filippodisvevia,
I fonud how to change the URL's, but not the sections.
Look in your Windows folder for a file called Full_one.xml, the URL's are at the top and the link names are near the bottom.
Good luck
thnx

Thank's so much.

Hi cudo,
Here http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?t=61711&highlight=today+plugi+orange you can file the cab e some other file.
I'd like to personalize the cab if I understand how it work.
It works on qtek 9000\jasjar\xdaexec so I think is good for t-mobile too.
Hi Guys,
That plugin is from the SPV M3100 and works diferently to the Universal version. See my post at the bottom of that link above.
If you want the proper Universal Today Plugin with bigger icons for the Universals bigger screen. You'll have to install the Orange M5000 ROM, as its built into it. Plus the Orange ROM has just been updated with a new Radio driver.
I'm using the new Orange ROM, with the last O2 Ext ROM, and the Signed_ORUK_HomeScreenReg.sa.CAB from the Orange Ext ROM as it has the Reg settings for the plugin. And everything is working great. 8)

Hi people,
This thread is more usefull if you are looking for a cab file.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?t=61711&highlight=
I installed the cab posted and works fine on my wizard. Although u do lose all your other today plugin functionality. But the plugin is handy. even though limited in use.
I was thinking of finding some great developers on this site who would like to creat such a program but which could be used alongside the other today plugins. Anyone interested let me know.
Cheers,
Shah
What do you mean "finding some great developers"?
@filippodisvevia,
Heres the CAB file, but it ONLY works with the Orange ROMs. As the files needed aren't in the other ROM's.
@gtm55,
You need the Orange ROM installed before the CAB file will work.

Great or good developers. Who are able to program such a plugin. because u have beginner programmers, novice programmers, and advanced programmers and if you like great programmers.
Just to keep it simple a person or persons who are able to create such a apps, which is usable in different WM phone devices. I just used great, because I know there are some pretty great (good) programmers on this site.
Cheers,
Shah
Thank you, ZaForD, I really like Orange plug-in, but I'll stay with T-mobile (1.30.115 WWE).
Thank's so much fora cab Zanford
@shah2
Now understand.
Every help will be fine.
Find this from other forum. Work fine on my HTC Trinity.

oh its taing too much of real estate My screen area!
Does it support VGA?
Backlight working ?
Does the backlight button work with this release ? In the other version your device will freeze at bootup....anyone tested already ?
btw: seems to be the same version like in the other post....
Cheers
Edit:
Could not wait Just installed, no problems on my device (Artemis) and Backlight-button. Looks cool.
What i don't like: in the GUI-Config you can only add apps from the Programs-directory (for example: when you want to add solitaire (which is stored in "Games"), you need to move the shortcut into the Programs-Folder....or you need to add the registry-key in HKCU\Software\HTC\HTCPlus\Shortcuts manually....or am i wrong ?
But in the end.... i think i stay with HTC Home....
Works on Artemis?!

It's interenting that you had no problems. I also installed on my Artemis with official HTC Asia WM6 rom and yes, it works until you switch off the device. Than you can never switch it on again, only by soft reset with stylus!
So I uninstalled the prog quickly...
Otherwise it would be nice to have it on Today screen, so if someone could construct a bug-free cab from the extracted files I would really welcome it!
cheers
Anybody tried this on a Touch?
The "other" Version (as petervbeck says) in the Hermes Forum doesn't work on the Touch.
I doesn't work on my Touch!
Working on Wizard
HTC Plus is Working on Wizard!
just 2 bugs:
when you select battery status in Customization and you tab on the symbol you go to wifi settings and backlight is not working

I'm using Tom's 4.1 full and as i said, no problems. But in fact- i like HTC Home more, but that's my opinion.... on my device i had no problem with hanging boots or something similar, i tested all the buttons....but not for a long time...then i switched back to HTC home...that's my expirience with Plus..
Cheers
How about a little credit where credit is due? This is the same version I posted in the Hermes forum here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=326689
Today I posted an updated version that should help some people who had problems with it.
This tool was non-functional when I found it. I had to dissassemble the dlls to find out why the utility would not work (missing HTCImgCodec.dll).

Is the "aplication launching pad" of HTC plus finger-scrollable, or the only way to scroll is by tapping on the arrow?
TIA
Can anyone confirm that it uses less memory than HTC Home?

It does not work in combination with a HTC orginal ROM + Homezone Manila Files from Raphael General Subforum
If the intention was to make it work just with an O2 ROM can someone please verify that?
(Perhaps someone experienced enough is able to extract the needed files from the O2 ROM?)
picking up on the Homezone indicator issue... has anyone actually been able to get the Homezone indicator extracted from the stock O2 rom?
