I recently upgraded the ROM on my k-jam from the original factory ROM.
Before:

Ever since the upgrade the phone seems lock up at least once a day. The light continues to flash, but nothing will wake the device up. None of the buttons are responsive. Holding or tapping the power button has no effect.
The only solution is to press the recessed button next to the IR lens to get it to reset.
Any ideas? Any way to go back to the original Rom?

Connect USB Cable. Go in the Boot Loader screen (Hold down camera button, power button and soft reset until the 3 colours display appear). Run Rom upgrade Software.

i tried to change it back to the ORI ROM (it image version is 2.15.13.121)
but it shows me tis:
"ERROR [296] : UPGRADE ONLY
This NBF file cannot be use for your PDA phone. Please get Newer NBF file."
How can i get back my ORI DOPOD 818 PRO ROM???
it seems i can't down grade it....

I just got this Wizard a week ago, and upgraded ROMs and everything:

I unlocked it, started with the T-Mobile official WM5 ROM, and then upgraded to IPL/SPL 3.08 and then NTS Jaguar 4.0. I've been running it for a few days since with no problems, but then I did a soft reset, and when it came back on, it displayed the T-Mobile screen with the IPL SPL numbers, but then it fades to white, the entire screen is completely white, and then it flashes on and off.
It was kind of warm from recharging, so I left it sitting for a while, and when I turn it on again, it works fine. Was it just overheating?
Did you overclock the CPU? (more than 247 MHz)?

No, I haven't tried that yet.
So I was installing and trying some big programs, and the device was getting warm. After one installation it asked to reboot. I rebooted it, and it did the same thing again; slowly turning white after the boot loader and not responding to button presses. After taking out the battery and cooling it off in front of a fan, it seems to work fine.

When I receive incoming calls as soon I press accept button it missed it and same happening with outgoing calls when i dial it hangup instantly.
It happenes randomly.
Do I need to install any fix or update something.

Hi,
I am also using a wizard, K-Jam, and I need some help from you guys.
Several month ago, when I tried to flash its rom, without much knowledge on flashing roms, I accidentally used MTTY to DOCTEST the rom, which according to the threads I was following, was to "format" the rom. Then I flashed it with Custom RUU 1.01.
The phone works well after that except the IPL becomes forever 1.01, no matter what kind of rom flashed. The SPL can be upgraded or downgraded without problem.
So, now the phone is

It seems the IPL is locked at 1.01. Can anyone help to solve this?
Another issue is the Wifi. When I flash it back to Custom wm 5.0 rom1.01 (IPL/SPL1.01), the Wifi works fine. Everything(WLan mode, MAC, etc.) is pre-set. But when I flash it to other roms, I can't turn on the Wifi, either through Commanager, or Settings>Connection. When I tap the WLan button, the process indicator goes on for a while and then off, the Wlan is still off. Impossible to input the WLan settings.
I wonder if the Wifi problem is caused by the IPL locking.
I do need help and advice from you guys, thank you very much!
I juz do SuperCID and my IMEI juz changed 3577xxxx to 335xxxx.... then, my radio seldom missing.... and i can't get a call/msg although a radio is function (after 1 hour)... can any one explain? And how to solve this problem?
