Hi all
I have SPB pocket plus, SPB weather and SPB Diary all running on my background. I charged my battery to full yesterday night, and this morning when i woke up, it was down to 5%.
I don't use IR,Wifi or Bluetooth and i dont have any thing else running on my background except for the SPB software
So i suspect that the battery life indicator on top of my screen and on todays plugin is using too much of my battery life, even when is on standby mode
does anyone else using spb pocket plus experiencing the same problem?
and what does "today timeout" in todays setting do?
by the way, this is my today screen

I use SBSH, ot SPB. But I doubt that is why your battery is draining. It's more likely to be caused by your phone searching for signal in a weak area.
I've only had such a battery drain once...when I forgot to shut off WiFiFoFum and fell asleep whist it was actively searching for APs. Oops.
thats weird
wifitoform should shut off because you cant turn on wifi during standby mode

Hadn't really noticed a huge drain though.
Edit: I'm running DCv1.
Just checked mine. I'm at 88% display and 12% cell standby. Running Darchtrev v2.
Using DC v1
Cell Standby 70%
Phone Idle 20%
Display 8%
Android System 2%
im right there with you ajones. anybody have ideas as to why this is? i havent really seen a difference in battery life though. could just be a glitch.
Did you guys open the camera before you checked?
no. its been like that for a while. last time i used the camera was last night.
Not right before... I did use my camera today though.
I don't like telling people this because you can get in trouble by closing the wrong thing but... try a task killer and make sure the camera is completely closed.
Many Roms come with Astro of ES File Manager and those have a task viewer/killer built in.
i tried that. didnt see the camera as one of the running processes.
Maybe its an app running like goggles or barcode.
just checked. only thing that i could think of to have a hold on the camera is handcent and the messaging app. closed those. ill see what happens
*update*
so that didnt do anything. still reading at 93%. anybody have any ideas or are we just out of luck?
I have a huge problem with battery life on my G2. Everything started after playing with Kitkat custom roms and kernels.. With every single combinations (rom + kernel) I always have battery life problem. Yesterday I decided to go back to JB and see how it will works, but.. I have same issue on it.. I am using my phone for 19 hours and 2.19h on screen and 27% of battery left. What can I do to deal with this problem?
Also curious...
Few screenshoots from wakelock detector.

Here's an idea: Uninstall all that crap and test again.
Also, post English screenshot if you want help. This isn't a ->Insert your weird language here<- forum.
I'd clean reinstall a new ROM (I'm on cloudy G3 with native kernel) and just use Clean Master to help boost battery life. Mine is very good so far. Around 5 hrs of SOT and almost 3 days of standby.
To the OP,
Are you restarting your phone in either silent or vibrate? That's what caused my 1013 wakelock in the past. I always reboot without vibrate/silent on now, and have not seen this issue.
Secondly, game playing will use a lot more battery than normal. It heats up the phone and works the GPU/CPU. For example, my battery only lasts 3.5 hours with Ingress playing.
Third, looks like you have some Android OS wake locks. Do you have Google now/location settings on and reporting?
Hi
These past few days the battery has been draining ridiculously fast.
I charged it before bed and then it's basically sat with the screen off since.
34% battery gone to AndroidOS and Android System.
Better Battery Stats hasn't been very helpful as I'm not rooted. It does say that it's been "awake" 100% since unplugged.
Here's some shots. Anyone know particular culprits?

Delete everything inside your android folder in internal memory and memory card.
That would wipe all of my game saves etc wouldn't it?
Seems a background processing is keeping the phone awake. It might be because Bluetooth is on.
You can try using Greenify to Force Stop most of the apps (Does not require root). I find that my phone does not wake up much after it Force stopped most apps.
Do note that you would want to leave messaging apps running or you will not receive messages.
I have a Gear S connected by BT LE but I thought the point of BT LE was it's low power. ..
Ok. Update. Having turned off the Gear S and killing it's connection, that wasn't the cause as it's still 100% awake whilst screen off.
Ok. It seems to be Samsung's Gear Manager app. Uninstalled and it goes into deep sleep straight away. With it installed, even when not connected to anything, it keeps the phone awake.
I've had the g4 for about a week now and have noticed that my battery is draining by 30-40% over night. I've reset my phone yet the issue still seems to remain. Going into the battery menu under settings, it shows that the majority is being taken up by mobile standby.
Here are a few snaps from the settings/battery.

Some of that data drain could be coming from a weak signal. On poor reception, the device spends a lot of power to find a better/stronger signal and if you're in marginal areas a lot, then it's going to use more battery. There are apps that will automatically switch the phone to airplane mode and apps that will switch the signal off and on depending on signal strength. There was one I use some time ago that I'm not sure if it even exists any longer is ShutUpBatterySaver. It would switch data on and off depending on what you set it for. Another two were Autopilot4 and NoBars. You could also just turn your data off when you know you won't need it.
Try uninstalling Google Photos. I noticed a very high CPU utilization. Not visible in battery uses (why anyway?)
Even used in "local" without synchronization.
Instead, enable the embedded file manager (in the list of disabled application, it's pre-installed), and update it in Play Store.
It looks like ur signal is weak too. Try to switch to 3G and your signal should be a little stronger

Hello everyone! I have the same issue with my moto g4 (xt1622).
Signal seems always bad even when the phone displays 4g in full strength! If you look at the screenshot seems that the signal became bad only when screen is off! Is that an hardware problem or an Android bug?
Thanks
Hey everyone,
my Note 4's battery (SM-N910F) is draining really fast. I bought 3 new batteries (1 samsung from their site and 2 rav power) and my battery still only holds for like 3 to 4 hours (instead of the whole day as before).
Can you help me figure out a fix?
Thanks !
Android 6.0.1 is running.
Version number MMB29M.N010FFXXU1DQL2.
Baseband N910FXXS1DQA1
3 -4 hours when using it? That is great. However, if standby is affected then you need to see what is running in the background and affecting the battery. Use BetterBatteryStats and or Gsm Battery monitor

no, 3-4 hours when almost not using it ! Before, the battery was lasting all my work day. Now at lunch, it's done.
I installed Gsm battery monitor, here's what I get:

Do a search on android system battery drain and try some of the fixes. Something is running causing the drain. Google or other backup or something constantly syncing etc.
Finally, I did a full factory reset and now the battery is back to normal!
