when i was using magician i was able to select to synchronize active tasks only or all tasks, but after i have upgraded to the wizard i can not find this option can anybody help me doing this.

Is there any alternative program to sync my contacts, appointments and tasks from Outlook 2003 to my XDA II running WM 5.0. Activsync connects but does not do it for me.
Hi, I'm having difficulties using my calendar at the moment. The calendar I'm using is Outlook 2003. I can sync my calendar if I put an appointment from my computer, but not if I add the appt from my mda vario. not sure whats happened it was working fine, any ideas would be appreciated.

You may need to look at your activesync settings, look in tools, options. Also you could try deleting the mobile device profile and then re-connect the phone and let it rebuild.
My Wizard and compute was sny.But when I install some software,It is sey not find Windows CE.Or sey not sny.

I have a XDA Mini S with Windows Mobile 5, i am using Active Sync 4.5.
The problem i have is that the calander and contacts information do not match with home computer, XDA contact & Calander details missing.
Have completed full reset

You may not have set your Activesync to sync your contacts and calander. It can be set at Activesync Options menu when you have your phone plugged in.

I am new to X1 & need your help in two issues.
1. Can we sync "Notes" as saved in outlook. The same was being shared & updated during regular syncs of my privious Nokia E series phone. I tried doing it using active sync. It syncs all info except "Notes" & shows "need to resolve".
2. what more bare minimum software I need to add up & from where can I get them. My usage is basic mails, Organiser, schedule etc. Picture editor can be useful.
I know I may be bothering you all but need help...

Are there any notes which are strange/unusual?
Perhaps try syncing without the notes, and then add them back into outlook until you work out which one is causing the problem..
about the notes issue, i had same problem.....try unticking notes from the sync partnership, synchronise, then tick notes and synchronise again.......that worked for me.

when i use active sync it will not stop trying to find an outlook link or setup. i dont use outlook, im on googlemail. does anyone know how to stop it doing this ? i want to use active sync for pics, contacts etc
