I can not delete some of my e-mail messages from my PPC that I sync from my outlook (but the desktop shows these messages as deleted). Also some of my text messages can not be deleted on my PPC.
The common feature of these e-mail and text messages is the "envelope" icon to the left of the message is missing. When I try to open, move, delete these messages, nothing happens.
These messages are eating up my PPC memory. I know that the database file must be corrupt and I should delete some but which ones ?
Please help !!
Dr Stein or xda2jojo are you guys still out there ? You were great help last time I visited this site in early 2005

Guys here's something weird, I can't open any individual mail messages in the "messages" area. The only messages I can open are sms text messages. I can get to the inbox and see the sender subject, etc., but when I tap to open nothing happens. Any clues?

Hello all,
I have a couple of filters setup where by messages are automatically filtered to this folder or that.
I cannot figure out if there is a way to get alerted when those folders receive new messages.
My Start Screen shows "X" number of new messages but that is only for the "Inbox".
Any ideas?
Thanks
David

I think I had the same problem when I had to hardrest my phone.. What it was was some welcome messages that were stored in there.. I dont remember where... so go through each of your accounts that you have and see if theres any hidden in places that it shouldnt be..even in your outbox or sent messages or something.
Hi,
The TF3D tab reports a wrong number of SMS; even when I am deleting all my SMS the TF3D tab is still reporting that there is 1 SMS but all my folders are empty.
Any idea how to resolve this problem?
Thanks
Daniel
When you go to sms tab in TF3D, click on All messages, then Inbox. You should now be shown a list of other folders and accounts. Go into each of them and see if you have an unread message i.e. Outbox, Drafts, Sent, Deleted for each account

I have done it, have deleted all my messages, but TF3D still reports that
there is one message. My inbox folder is empty but the folder name is bold
and after the name there is still "(1)" .
Inbox still list 1 message
I have the same problem TF3d 2.1 Pro2. TF3D's counter says there is 1 message when there are none. I removed the messages from all the folders but still the problem.
Haha, must be something in the internal HD clock that about now it starts to show up. I had the same thing happen to me last week. Search "FixUnreadCount." It's an .exe program to fix the counter. Run it, soft reset and you're done. It worked for me.

The app worked like a charm on my Win6.5 Pro 2 device! When running it also appeared as if it was performing integrity checks on all my folders

I have a number "1" indicating that I have 1 sms to read on the TF3D icon bar but I have no sms to read! I can't work out how to make it go...
If i recieve a new sms it adds another number (I.E. 2, 3 and so on) but never goes below 1!!!
Can anyone help?
Try going into all messages at the bottom left when on the message tab sometimes the phone has messages in the inbox that dont respond, check the inbox folder and delete the sms see if that works

Tried that already... I now have no messages at all and it still shows 1 sms to be read! Grrr
I had that problem until i noticed that there WAS an unread email, it wasn't in my newly created email inbox, it was in the Outlook Email inbox.
This email seems to be created automatically when you run the HD for the first time.
Have a look at the mail inbox again and switch it so you can see all the email accounts (use the the drop down list in the top left corner), check the Outlook Email Inbox too.
Goodluck.
