Guys here's something weird, I can't open any individual mail messages in the "messages" area. The only messages I can open are sms text messages. I can get to the inbox and see the sender subject, etc., but when I tap to open nothing happens. Any clues?

Hello everyone,
Before all worked fine, but since some days, also after an Hard Reset, this strange thing happens to me:
When I look in the Sent Items Folder of Text Messaging (SMS), I see the name of the receiver and the date/time of the send, but I don't see the preview of the text of the message. If I tap on a message, I see the text as normal... only some messages have randomly the preview of text in the summary of the folder (Name, Date/Time and text).
But when I synchronize the SMS Folder with my Outlook using Jeyo, for the sent items the text is not transferred, so I see in Outlook only the Name of the receiver and the date/time of the send. For messages the I see the preview text in the PocketPC folder, the text is transferred too.
I have made an Hard reset, but messages in the sent folder has been affected the same by this strange behaviour... any suggestion?
Thank you!!!
Cristian
I tell you better: Sent Items from the SMS Folder are all empty!!! There are messages, but if you open it in Outlook there is no text...

Problem solved!
OK, Problem solved installing the new Build 1033 on my one (9xx). Now Sent sms are not empty when transfered to my Outlook SMS Folder.
I can not delete some of my e-mail messages from my PPC that I sync from my outlook (but the desktop shows these messages as deleted). Also some of my text messages can not be deleted on my PPC.
The common feature of these e-mail and text messages is the "envelope" icon to the left of the message is missing. When I try to open, move, delete these messages, nothing happens.
These messages are eating up my PPC memory. I know that the database file must be corrupt and I should delete some but which ones ?
Please help !!
Dr Stein or xda2jojo are you guys still out there ? You were great help last time I visited this site in early 2005
Thanks !!
Hello all,
I have a couple of filters setup where by messages are automatically filtered to this folder or that.
I cannot figure out if there is a way to get alerted when those folders receive new messages.
My Start Screen shows "X" number of new messages but that is only for the "Inbox".
Any ideas?
Thanks
David

Hello, when I try to send a new text message, it won't be send. It become a draft in my outlook "Drafts" Folder.
I can only send text messages by replying already received messages.
Does someone know a solution?
Thanks,
Greetz Tjapsor

Well, i tried a Soft-reset.
When you make a new text message do you create it from within the text message folder or the outlook folder ????
if you do it from the outlook folder you are creating an e-mail instead of a text message

No i am making a new text message...
Anyone else?
when you reply to txt msgs it usually sends them back through the msg centre that sent them. when you send new ones, it uses your msg centre to send them. go into Phone > Menu:Options > Services and 'Get Settings' for Voice Mail and Text Messages. Make sure you have got the correct phone number for service centre (these instructions are for WM5 but i except its quite similar for WM2003)
Hope somone can help me...
I have a number "1" indicating that I have 1 sms to read on the TF3D icon bar but I have no sms to read! I can't work out how to make it go...
If i recieve a new sms it adds another number (I.E. 2, 3 and so on) but never goes below 1!!!
Can anyone help?
Try going into all messages at the bottom left when on the message tab sometimes the phone has messages in the inbox that dont respond, check the inbox folder and delete the sms see if that works

Tried that already... I now have no messages at all and it still shows 1 sms to be read! Grrr
I had that problem until i noticed that there WAS an unread email, it wasn't in my newly created email inbox, it was in the Outlook Email inbox.
This email seems to be created automatically when you run the HD for the first time.
Have a look at the mail inbox again and switch it so you can see all the email accounts (use the the drop down list in the top left corner), check the Outlook Email Inbox too.
Goodluck.
