I have installed, but how to use? I can't see anything on my O2 Autoinstall.
Restart. Did you see the hidden partitin? YES? OK.
Copy cab files, that you want autoinstall to the hidden partition.
Hard Reset.
Copied cabs must appires in autoinstall window.
It's still not work?????
after hard reset the list is not there,
it's seem to be got something to do with AutoInst.dat in hidden partition..
install the cab and just soft reset.
you will see it next to my documents folder.

SPB Pocket Plus!
Спасибо еще раз! Ты мне действительно помог!

Cool!, You should describe your method for all users in this forum!
wot, wot?? i wanna do this too and had been lukin this topic, but i donno russian (is it??) :? pls explain in english.. thanx..

of course! 1234 find the solution of autoinstall, but the different way... so the summary of his post:
1. Rename file Hidden Partition.cab => Ringtone.CAB
2. Using SpbBackup, create self-extracting archive.
3. Put self-extracting archive in the Hidden Partition
After hard reset, in runs automaticly, and you have all programs installed. All nformation and programs settings is safe (for example tabs on SPB Pocket Plus)![/quote]
this one is nice trick,
i just add a lot of appz to ringtone.cab
so when auto install is started,
is automaticly install spb backup, pocket plus, and diary

Simply adding CAB file into hidden partition does not work, the application will show in O2 autoinstaller automatically. Need some hack in other place.

I know it works in accessing the ER, but after the deletions and a hard-reset, it does not save the new settings that were made to the ER.

My built-in program occupy 9.5MB but like you I can copy and/or delete all contents. Can also store data there but anything stored there is replaced by build in programs after soft reset.
I have discovered there seem to be 2 Extended Rom, one called "Extended_ROM", the other "Extended_ROM2". The first is accessible via Total Commander with no changes to registry. The second requires changes to registry. You can delete the build in files in each independently but they are back after soft reset. "Extended_ROM2" appears under "Settings | Memory" but "Extended_ROM" doesn't. Probably because of no registry changes. There must be yet another ROM partition where all the built in files are copy from during a soft reset. That's the ROM we need to get to.
So tell us...
how is this possible?
Anyone know?
I would like to change a t9 dll file in ext rom, so can anyone tell us how to do this ie. get at ext rom, not just the ext rom 2.
Please post solution

Registry Settings
Hello all,
I own a Jamin running the latest DOPOD image. I have tried to set my registry as per sas90850's suggestions.
Well, just after the soft reset the registry settings are reverting back to their original values ! :-|
Any clues on this ?
Thanks

I make new theme Diamond for PocketCM but it not work, maybe any body help me?
I'll try it on my device and see what happens.
You should write "Help!", not a "Halp".
P.S.: Неужели так сложно заглянуть в словарь? Пиши "Help" а не "Halp".
hmm.. once the zip is opened, all the files can't be inside of another folder. they all have to show up once you open the zip file.
after running it. it looks like your about half way done with it. looks good so far. keep up the good work.
Nice Diamond Work
Is like gofawkurself said, just remove the folder inside the zip (not the files )and works just great!
Nice work...thanks
Hi,
I recently bought the iGO 8 GPS Software (bundled on 2Gb micro sd-card) from Expansys. According to Nav N Go, the Cruise 2 isn't a supported device when it comes to iGO 8. However, since people have it running on a lot of other HTC-devices I decided to give it a go. Unfortunately it stopped at "INIT API".
Has anyone managed to get iGO 8 running on their Cruise 2? What "sys.txt" should I use?
Any help appreciated!
//Marcus
Got it
My man, I got iGo8 running smooth on mine after a lot of searching for right files, such as "sys.txt" and the voice files.
PM me with your e-mail and I'll send you the "sys.txt", links to voices files and whatever you need.

Yes, I got one! I've gone directly home and install my most essential programs (after syncing all contacts etc). One of these programs is TomTom7. After installing it and restarting it I get the message "BTTrayCE is not a valid application" and my bluetooth doesn't start. Has anyone experienced the same problem? Is there a solution for this?
For my work I use bluetooth and TomTom almost daily so help would be really helpfull!
Caroline
tomtom has released a special version for the tp2 that had the same problem and should have fixed the bluetooth issue. I don;t know where to find it right now, but it definately is on these forums, so do a search and you'll find the cab you are longing for.
I did an installation of TT on my SD a long time ago and since then i only made a shortcut to the startmenu after flashing a new rom and some other tricks when the devicecode changed.
Try to ask xmoo on this topic http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=580981&page=8 <- I think he's got tomtom7 on the hd2
[sgsdebruin] How do you make a link to the startmenu? I've installed it also a long time ago on my SD...
[All] thanks for the replies. The hint of sgsddebruin did the job. I created a shortcut with the help of Total Commander. Thanks!!

Hi I have order my HD2 today and just sold my HD, i am looking to put tomtom on it, does anyone know if the HD1 version will work on the HD2?
Thanks Matthew.
It's not just the BT that get's killed.. The FM radio does also...
you have to delete that .dll's out of the tomtom .cab with wince cab manager.
(i believe it also can with winzip/winrar/7-zip)
and then install the cab.
be shure to do this before install

What do these dll's do?
The BtCoreIf.dll file is a custom TomTom Wizard bluetooth file.
I guess that BtSdkCE30.dll is also part of this.
