I need help configuring my wife's Dopod 818 Pro. I successfully configured it to connect to Edge using T-mobile's wap.voicestream.com and proxy, etc. settings. But my problem is the wifi. I am able to connect to the router and the signal is good. I get an IP but Explorer doesn't load the pages. It's specially trippy when I connect to the Edge connection first, turn that one off, then turn on wifi. Somehow the wifi doesn't work. And if I restart, I need to mess with the settings before the wireless starts to work again. Could someone help me configure. A really thorough set of instructions is appreciated. Thanks.
Hi
Is anyone aware of a real idiot's explanation of connecting an M600 to a home Wi Fi connection. I have found lots of interesting and what appears to be useful hints and tips but nothing seems to be connecting me
My M600 finds my wireless connection and the status says its available - it just wont connect though
Any advice appreciated
Thanks
Jimmy
Does your wifi network have WEP or WPA security?
If so you have to use the actual key and not the pass-phrase. Other than that it's pretty straight forward.
Hello
I was wondering if i can use my static Ip address to connect my my 8125 with wifi without paying my provider a connection fee.
Or is there any other way that i can go online with wifi without paying the connection because i do have the wifi signal allthe time where i am.
Any help will be very much appreciated.

Hi Guys
My G1's having trouble holding my WiFi connection. I have a Qwest DSL connection and, although the phone remains connected to WIFI, pages stop loading. The connection works but seems like it gets timed out. It's weird b'cos it's just MY WiFi connection this keeps happening on. The phone holds on to connections at work and to even my friends DSL.
Anyone else have this problem?
Any input would be appreciated
Cheers
Jaro
Could be your phone, could be your wireless router... Would need more information to diagnose.
it's going to be ur wireless router i have the linksys N and it dose not see it i put up a linksys B router works fine
Does your screen timeout by any chance?
I believe the wifi shuts off when the screen times out to perserve battery.
