ANY NEW GREEK ROM VERSION FOR 2020i?

IS THERE ANY NEW GREEK ROM VERSION FOR 2020i,OR SOMETHING ELSE TO HELP THE DEVICE WORKING BETTER WITHOUT LAG OR STUCK AND OTHER PROBLEMS WITH CONNECTIONS-WIFI etc.?

Cantona no there is not dont try to put the ace rom in it or else you will damage the phone badly

Basically what you can do is download the ROM installation pack (the executable from Qtek.gr) Run it and before cancelling the application go to:
C:\documents and setting\%username%\Local Settings\Temp
there will be a folder Qtek 2020i
copy it to your desktop. Replace the ROMs you want with new-"foreign" one (i always use a different radio) to get the best combo-result.
The only thing missing at that point is the Greek keyboard (i really DO NOT LIKE the ace-hellas language extender thingie, it's poor, it crashes etc)
You can go to http://www.tranexp.com/win/PocketKeys-grk.html and download the software. It's a simple and nice greek keyboard.
Ofc you lose all the greek menus but i don't like them anyway.
Not a greek ROM but it's free and i hope it helps.

Is it possible for someone to write what we (Greeks) have to do to upgrade without problems our QTEK 2020i with a better ROM version? What rom we need, how can we find it and what supplemental programs (for example keyboard programs).
So we need a step by step procedure with links to these files.

i had xda and xda2 and been happy enough till i got qtek2020i..
tried to put fixed windows in it but "country code error" had to argue...
now i installed english ver of qtek 2020i with the no id exe but dont like it a bit
enyone knows how to pool this through bec i;m going to sell the darn thing after all that time with ppc's....

some need to make a german languagepack

i think i am not the only one who realy wants a language pack for his wm6 in german. is there anybody who can do this? i have one for wm5 from buzz, perhaps with some modifikation it will works with wm6?

no it wont work, try another one for WM6, look at the forums for other devices, the mui files are difrend for WM6

is it possible to unpack a wm6 rom (ger) from a mda pro and extrakt the language files. Than take these files and cook them in a blueangel rom?

i theory yes, but if you need to add them as modules it will be hard(needs manual module reallocation editing), the easyer way is to create a cab with all the german mui files and some needed registryes, but it will take a lot of storage space ....

is here anybody who can do this? If there is a how to do or faq please let me know.

One more thing it will be better if the files are extracted from qvga device, for example Hermes,Artemis ..... even Wizard
I think bepe has kitchen for hermes with german MUI files you can use them for cab creating

it's the new version of the pocket navigator. u can download it and then extract it in a new folder on your desktop. copy the folder (contains 2 subfolders and a cab) on your ppc. then ran the cab. only 2 languages (greek and english).
this prog works on the Kaiser and the Touch Cruise. I had tried the previous version on the P3600 and worked fine, so I suppose the newer version would still work.
could someone check and confirm?

it works with Kaiser,but i am looking 4 english sound,and town names.is it exist ?

I have PN6 which can't find the GPS on my Kaiser, and I also have PN7 which finds the GPS but only has greek placenames. I have got PN7 to work with the PN6 map so the placenames are in English, but the keyboard is still in Greek.
Does anyone have a version of PN7 with an English Keyboard?

02, Germany, Homezone

Hallo People,
I installed English ROM on my German 02 diamond phone.
I couldn't able to see my homezone. We have one tool to download it but it is nor more working. Kindly, develop new CAB for this for all kinds of English ROMS.

I need bepes german ROM:can you find here: please notice that you load the
ROM wiith 407 for German Language.see the attachments:
It works fine and very smooth.
Bepes ROm shows the homezone,but there is another tool,named batterystatus- You noticed at on the second picture. Its a great tool and it works fine with the diamond. You can read the description in last attachment.

and here is the orginal Homezone Package from o2 rom 1.37.
you can cook it in your rom with Kaiser Kitchen for Diamond.

Could you please simplify the steps on how to make a CAB file out of the zip file that you provided. Another doubt is can I install it on my English rom, because my Germany skills are not good.

you find a CAB file including registry-entries in that forum/thread:

After installing the CAB you need to copy the files from "my Documents" to "\windows" and restart / soft-reset the phone

TomTom - GPS is gone????

I need help !!! After flashing my Pharos with "PHAROS_ROM_20755_WWE_manila2d_opal_v8.by_poldo" my Tom Tom software disapeared and the device cannot find the intern GPS ?!?! I managed to install TomTom software from the TomTom web page but I cannot use it cous GPS is still not there.

But i can't speak french.

The German Rom which is posted here also does not work with GPS.
