i think i am not the only one who realy wants a language pack for his wm6 in german. is there anybody who can do this? i have one for wm5 from buzz, perhaps with some modifikation it will works with wm6?
no it wont work, try another one for WM6, look at the forums for other devices, the mui files are difrend for WM6
is it possible to unpack a wm6 rom (ger) from a mda pro and extrakt the language files. Than take these files and cook them in a blueangel rom?

i theory yes, but if you need to add them as modules it will be hard(needs manual module reallocation editing), the easyer way is to create a cab with all the german mui files and some needed registryes, but it will take a lot of storage space ....
is here anybody who can do this? If there is a how to do or faq please let me know.

One more thing it will be better if the files are extracted from qvga device, for example Hermes,Artemis ..... even Wizard
I think bepe has kitchen for hermes with german MUI files you can use them for cab creating

Hope you can help us to make the CHS ROM done.
Be aware, the Chinese shiped upgrade ROM on xda's FTP is CHT ROM, rather than CHS ROM.
Here is the latest CHS ROM:

To upload these rars is really difficult. Finally, I split the rar into 8 packages and get things done.
Any one who wants to upgrade his/her magician into the lastest Simplified Chinese ROM and ExtROM are welcome to use this SD card ROM.
Radio ROM upgrade is not included, but can upgrade to v1.11.00 seperately. Any one who wants to do this, please post here, I will let you know how?

This is only because few Chinese users are reading and writing in English. In fact, I post the news in a Chinese forum, over thousands replys have been out and waiting for your great work. You are becoming a hero in the forum.

first off, just want to thank you for ur hard work on the extra storage space..
second, totally off topic, but when you get the chance to patch the Dopod 818 chinese rom, would you be able to pull out the original Dopod splash screen? Since you were able to replace it with the volcano splash, i'm thinking you should be able to pull out the original splash. I've been looking for this for a while but with no luck. I thought maybe the splash screens (splash1.nb and splash2.nb) are stored in one of the cab files in the EXTROM but I couldnt find it. So, if you wouldn't mind, would you pull those files out (doesn't matter if it's nb, bmp, jpg, etc.)...just want the originals. Thanks in advance!!

I don't know if it's possible to translate a ROM but I think it would be a lot more difficult than simply USING a Dutch ROM. There are Emulator Images from Microsoft for WM6 and there is a way to extract those, I don't know how but many guys in this forum know how to do it. With the extracted ROM you can built your own stuff.
Or simply wait until Tom Codon has released Black and Blue v3.5 in the WM6 forum. He said that he wants to create a Dutch Version too. He did a very good job on the German version.
there is a tread somewhere in the form that explains you how to translate the rom. Be carefull with that it's not so easy as you think

I'm looking for phcanrc.dll.0xxx.mui files in any language....
I'm working on a multy language rom for Prophet and Kaiser. but I'm using the phone from Polaris..
I have 2 options if I can't get the Polaris mui's
1. I can use the original Kaiser layout
2 . Use the polaris layout with some missing text
but I would prefer to have the Polaris layout and the right mui files.
so if you have the phcanrc.dll.0xxx.mui (phcanrc.dll.0409.mui is english and I have that one) please share them with me.
I might do a multi rom for Polaris too but I don't have a polaris so I can't test it myself.

I installed English ROM on my German 02 diamond phone.
I couldn't able to see my homezone. We have one tool to download it but it is nor more working. Kindly, develop new CAB for this for all kinds of English ROMS.

I need bepes german ROM:can you find here: please notice that you load the
ROM wiith 407 for German Language.see the attachments:
It works fine and very smooth.
Bepes ROm shows the homezone,but there is another tool,named batterystatus- You noticed at on the second picture. Its a great tool and it works fine with the diamond. You can read the description in last attachment.
and here is the orginal Homezone Package from o2 rom 1.37.
you can cook it in your rom with Kaiser Kitchen for Diamond.

This langpack should work with all wm5, but not with wm6. I tried to find langpack for wm6/6.1 but it failed. Maybe somebody else know somethink about it
