i was just wondering which tray program is the best out there.
i know there phmtray and vijay's but which one do you all think is the best. best customize easy to use stuff like that thx in advance
PHM is best of the two.
Vijay's says specifically that it's limited to only a few apps because of the crap way he wrote it, as an interim solution. He's been promising to write VJTrayLauncher II for ages, but the bugger's been busy. Damn him.

lol vijay i love hoow you put yourself in the third person
heheh..
vj sounded like a bot

LIke title says, i want to know if we can load software that will make the volume control act as a jogwheel.
Looks like today is my day to answer noobs who don't search before reading... oh well, at least I am usually polite!!!
The answer to all your problems is an awesome little app called Smartskey, that also allows you to use the device in a one handed manner. If it was not for smartskey I would have returned my phone about 2 weeks after purchase.
Most cooked ROMs out there have it built in. If you decide to go this route, please do a LOT of reading about what you need to do to install a cooked ROM. You will save yourself from not only toasting your device but from the toasting you will get from being flamed.
thank you!
but is there a way to make it scroll a line instead of scrolling a page? tried to edit the settings
I think AE Button Plus is another good alternative. There are free and commercial versions.

AE Button is a really good app!
Here's the flash menu ported from Samsung i718, Its very cool & working nice on my touch.
tHANKS!! I've got a couple of friends with i718's and always thought the menu was slick. Great job and thanks again!
very nice, well done working great on my hermes
So we must have flash player installed on our device prior using this application?
nope no flash player. it seems to be an actual app
Is that how you spell "Organiser"?
Also, is there a way to edit the programs targets in the registry or something?

i dono yet. found this over at Ipmart yesterday though. I tossed it on my touch and my brothers mogul and its sweet. Even my mom was able to navigate WM6 once we showed her this. I'm sure someone will find out how to edit it real soon. Possible skins anyone???
Nice find!
i find that the i718 or something like that, looks really a lot like the shadow,
maybe tmobile copied it
o, and by the way, nice find, but the launcher doesnt look like like the ones ive seen one the phone
I've read a few sites on this phone now and the opinion varies a bit. One place I found that was good for expert reviews and real life opinion on the Samsung SGH I718 even had a few photos and the like which i found helpful. Hope that helps others that landed here doing their own research:->
This is HEX-edit job not a regeistry job.
windows\launcher.exe can be HEX editet for customizing.

Yeah, we definitely need some adjustments to this. I would like to add a clock to the home screen.
Some Questions
Some link in this interface haven't a workings properly, How I can solve this problem?
love this app, just wish i could customize it, or even just get rid of the dead links. would love just to have the messaging and favorites pages.
Yeah.. I'd really like to add my own menus to this.
Because i never find a countdown skinnable and powerfull, I was thinking of one that can do the standard job (Counting down ) with thumb friendlyness like the time settings for an appointement in thumbcal and where you can use a database of countdown like for cooking (eggs meats ....) or meditation timing (where you can choose an easy listening mp3 to came back to "real"). It will do parallell counting like my meat and my meditation.
I'm shamed because i think it's a long but easy job for a part of you but i can't do it myself, i've spent to much time learning to help others but not in a programming way.
I haven't find that for weeks on google so perhaps it doesn't exist.
Thanks for reading (perhaps answering).
PS: reminder: _skinnable
_thumbfriendly
_multitask
_database that anyone can enhance
_and why not easy to use (configurator for .ini or stff like that)
Some kind of timer?
But why skinnable? The most important thing is functionality. Or do you just want to watch at it?
skinnable
Because i've noticed that when an app can be "design" by users it is more attractive, it can enhance the theme/skin your using but you're right first it must be functional and exhaustive. And like most of people here i like to change apps looking to my way.
ps: pocketscreen is great that's the one i'm using.

Perhaps your the one that could help me, that could be a great learning for me to try to make this app. I've got friend that dev on java and c++ but for other platform and they are not interested in ppc, do you think that mortscript (that seems "easy") could be a way to do this stuff from nothing ?
Greetings,
I am issuing this request (maybe to A_C) for a program code named Slide 2 Switch. It is essentially an AltTab program where it prioriztizes the programs youuse. So if you open File Explorer and then settings it gives file explorer 2 and settings 1. So if you slide your finger from left to right it shows priority 1. If you slide your finger from right to left it shows lowest priority. is it possible to build somehting this simple? I am not that good at coding but making some animation would make it cool to. Thanks.
since we are requesting for A_C great S2x programs, i would like a S2R, a reading threaded sms program =) i use sms-chat now but its slow to start =/
S2C contacts would be nice too
actually, if all my programs were S2x i would like even more my phone =D

why not buy an iPhone ? No, just a joke, I really love A_Cs apps too. But think further: If everything looks like Apple / iPhone, whats the use of it ? Although it might be skinable it is just a copy of what Apple has achieved. In fact, there are lots of apps with lots of potential - but most coders donĀ“t care any about usability or interface design. A_Cs apps are, amongst others, popular because of the UI. But please, just take a look at apps like PointUI: simply genius UI, and it does NOT look like iPhone !
regards,
Martin
Wow! This is literally like the 5th thread I've seen in the last month with "S2*" requests.
PM A_C!!!
Agreed, theres no need to make a thread for requesting stuff. Just Private message the guy!
hey guys i couldn't find any posts about good calculator programs, i got To0's rom v2 and it didn't come with a
calc and i kinda need one that does basic operations. os= wm 6.1 thanks
I use gCalc. I cant remember where and how I got it but I can probly find it and post it, that if you want it.
1-Calc Lite is the greatest free calc in my opinion, great interface, and includes a tip calc and unit converter.
gCalc
To the best of my knowledge gCalc was written by one of the members here; greatbal. I use it every day. Works flawlessly and pleasing to the eye. It is also skinnable.
The download links at his blog don't work anymore but you can get it here:

do people actually use the tip feature? I always see features for this but never actually use it.

It depends, do you eat out at restaurants, and tip?
RPN Calc
Anyone know a good Reverse Polish Notation Calculator? I love RPN, I still use my HP41cx from the 80's almost every day. I've tried the HP41cx emulator but I don't like the small buttons, the red border and it opens a little slow.
Thanks
