At me the same problem: on 43 % my Qtek 9000 is switched off, the image on him vanishes as-as if take out a battery, instead of simple power off. When i'm connect USB the top red indicator lights up and in current of several minutes burns, only when the indicator will be switched on orange it is possible power on my PDA.

SPV M600 G4 doesn't start, HELP.

Hello,
I've upgraded Orange SPV M600 G4 to PDAViet 4.0.0.0.6 Touch more than a week ago. Yesterday when battery level was at 6% I connected the power supply to charge the battery and went to bed, charging process started. This morning I've noticed that my PDA is turned off.
When I press ON button, or soft reset - nothing happens. Removed CD card, SIM card, Battery put battery back - nothing.
Connect to power supply - no sign of charging. Any Ideas or device is dead?
Please reply to email.
Later today by pressing ON button Orange logo appeared with IPL and other info then turned off. As I understand buttery is completely discharged. SPV doesn't want to charge. Any ideas how to charge the battery? I can buy new battery but if the problem is with the SPV?

Battery Problems
I have a similar problem. I charge my QTEK S100 battery to 100% and then leave it overnight. When I come to turn it back on the following morning, the device does a soft reset and then I am told the battery level is only 38%. Very soon after the device automatically turns itself off and I can only turn it back on again once it is on charge.
my o2 mini also have this problem....
Battery Problems Update
Decided to buy a new battery and after full charging and leaving the device overnight the same problem occurred. I now conclude that the problem lies with the device, but am unsure exactly what the problem is. Any ideas?

Charging Problem with QTek S100

Hi,
i have a QTek S100. Since a while it says always that it is charging the battery even when it is not attached to the powercable. I changed now the battery because i thought the battery is broken but it wasn'nt. Has somebody a idea what I can do?
When in the charging status the battery holds only for 6 hours, because its not going in standby mode...
Please i hope someone of you know how to fix that. I love my S100 but its so annoying, to recharge it all the time...
Thanks!!!
Have you tried a hard reset?
how to do it: Press simultaneously for 1 sec, the power button and the reset hole.
(note: You will loose all your files/contacts/sms/programs, etc - Do a phone backup 1st)

Keeper

Strange problem with new battery (Cameron Sino 3150 mah)...

Hi everybody
I bought a new battery 'Cameron Sino 3150 mah' last month for my Orange SPV M5000. When I got battery into device , the indicator showed 68%. I didn't fully charged the battery before use , as well as is written on battery case and maybe this is the problem. I used device until indicator showed about 60% and device shuted down.
I looked that device tried to charge battery but after that when it starts show me message saying 'battery is low ...' and immediatly shuts down. Then I covered second pin on battery with sticky and ran the pda. It worked fine. After fully discharged battery ( pda shuts down ) , I uncovered the pin and turned on charge adapter, but the result was same
I bought then outter battery charger from ebay and charged fully the battery, but the result was same again ( device load windows and immediately shows message 'battery is low' and shuts down). I think that problem is in wrong received values from the battery processor ( Why it didn't callibrate , when I tried on ? )
Comment : when I try to charge the battery with original adapter and she is into pda the led indicator lights yellow and after that - green , but sometimes it douse.
The problem is very unpleasant because every time I have to charge the battery in outer charge adapter and after that to use her with cover pin

I could be wrong on this but it sounds like a bad battery to me, or at least the sensor in it.
Maybe problem is that I didn't made full initial charge ?

I dont think that would change anything, it goes on the voltage left in the cell to gauge it volume I think. Was the old one reading correctly?
I've got an old original battery ( 1650 mah I think ) , who is reading well ( indicator charge to 100% and shut down on - 20%), but when I'm puting the new one pda is going down ( battery status : unknown ). In the beginning when I received battery from Hong Kong indicator showed 68% and went down on 60%. After that the result is same as I described in my first post.
Maybe I have to discharge battery with bulb and then it will recallibrate, because when I discharged battery with pda , i saw that it didn't fully discharged ( pda shuts down but voltage was about 3.5V . I readed somewhere , that battery when goes down to about 2.89V it automaticaly cuts voltage on pins ) ...

the death of a qtek 9090

Hi! i've bought an used Qtek 9090. the problem is that this Qtek don't power on! it doesn't go on bootloader mode, doesn't go on hard reset ecc... but when i charge it, the red led turns on!
what can i do? please help me
well try to charge the battery only in the cradle
if this not help try to borrow working battery from someone, if your device does not start even with working battery then you are screwed (a hardware problem of some kind)
no i think the battery is ok.
there is a way to restore the bootloader? i've read about the jtag, but i don't know anything... can you explain?
Battery is charging only when the LED is orange/amber. Red means problems with charging - that's why xplode proposed putting the baterry directly in the cradle, as it can "fix" the battery.
Well the red light means there is problem, the most comon problem is the battery, but the red light is also shown with motherboard, bootloader, kernel, and other problems
one more option is there. if the battery is not charged from a long time it needs a shock before recharging to activate the electrons. u should apply some 12v at 1 or 1.5 amp for 15-30 sec. than battery will get a little charge which is sufficient to turn on the phone once.................... but do not apply this voltage regularly or for long time.
