Any bluetooth streaming car radios out there? - JAMin, XDA Neo, S200 General

Hey guys, I was wondering whether anyone here knows of a car radio with bluetooth technology (there are many of those) but that supports not only phone use, but can connect and play lets say the mp3 collection from the prophet? I know this can be solved with cables or fm transmitters, but what about this (to me!) easiest and best way?

Satellite Radio App Suggestion

Hello..
I have a AT&T Tilt (Kaiser)... My phone, along with most of the new HTC phones, have a "GPS" chip as well as a built in satellite antenna... Most of us who have these phones have many other high tech devices, including Sirius / XM radio... Using the internet receiver, would it be possible to create and app to log into out XM accounts and take out radio with us? Use our touch screen to scroll through the diffrent radio stations.. Pair it with a bluetooth headset or our bluetooth car stareo ? It is just and idea.. let me know if this already exists and I missed it.. Thanks
Try this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=450259 works for me

how it's possible to connect between fm radio & music in phone ?

came to me an idea to connect the music player in the phone to the FM radio in the car to play it ! I'm very positive for it .. since getting TMC from the radio to the gps software (in this thread) , so there is a possbile connection between them ? the question, could someone came with a software or hacking can do this ? with no need to buy external FM CAR KIT device to make it works !
I hope yes ...
Thanks ....
im also looking for such an app..
i had also put down the same question here
Hi, i think you don't really understand whats meant by RDS/TMC through radio. It doesn't get information from your car-radio, it's a build-in radio device within your phone. And this is even a receiver, not a sender. As far as i conern there are onky three ways to connect your phone to your car-radio and all of them are the way 'music from phone to radio'
1.) bluetooth, but only a few radios have got it
2.) via fm-transmitter which is a way whichmostly shold work
3.) vie line in at car radio and line-out/speaker-out/headphone at phone
regards
Bernhard

2.) HOW CAN U CONNECT "via fm- transmitter "? ?
Hi imrock,
ask google for it or even ebay. ;-)
1. buy fm-transmitter
2. plug in fm-transmitter to device instead of headphones
3. search for the frequency on which your transmitter transmits at your car radio
4. enjoy
I don't have experiences on my own, but a few weeks ago i've seen a test in a magazin. They summorized as follows: The quality of music is not really good.

2 Qs: home screen tabs and fm transmitter

Phone Details
Have the HTC HD2 Leo (iphone 3gs convert (well nearly))
UK generic using on O2
Manilla: 2.5
rom: 1.48
radio version: 2.05
Hi i'd be grateful if anyone could answer one or both of my Q's, thanks:
1. Home screen tabs
Question: can programs be added to the home screen tabs.
I wanted to know if it was possible to extend the number of home screen tabs to the ones that already exist - home, mail, messages, internet, calender, [my program] etc. I'm aware that these can be personalised and removed but dont know how to add to them. Is this possible? Is there a reg tweak, cab to enable this. Couldnt find any so far. Already using the kindly provided tweak from Vovichek_Jamrecords to enable 16 quick links but wanted to add extra home screen tabs.
2. FM transmitter
Question: Does the HTC HD 2 Leo have the ability to transmit fm signals. Does it have a transmitter ability.
I wanted to be able to send music to my car radio without the use of a 3rd party bolt on fm transmitter. I am unable to use bluetooth and have no other way to connect to stereo. I dont want to replace it. Thanks.
The HD2 Leo has the ability to receive fm radio (via headphones) obvioulsy and wondered if its chip can be enabled to transmit. Is there an app, tweak available. Or is it a hardware question meaning the phone simply cant do it. If so can anyone suggest a bolt on micro usb powered fm transmitter. I have a bolt on transmitter for the iphone and wondered if equivalent could be available for the HTC
Thanks. Seb.
Note:
I have had the the Leo for a few weeks now. The main attraction is its great screen and openess to tweaks etc (despite apples jailbreak community). Being v new to the windows mob platform I'm struggling a little but I am liking it. There are many things that i am missing about the iphones OS (its much better suited for the simpleton). Its OS just seems much smoother and rounded. I'm sure everyone is aware of WM6.5 deficiencies. Apps just seem much more tailored to the apple. Well I guess Apple control the hardware and software etc and so is to be expected. Will keep perservering with the HTC however. If it just had a front facing camera (not that the apple does) then that would have clenched it. Also keyboard - no matter what cabs, tweaks i try its just not as good as the iphone. I hope WM7 that i hear is coming will be that much better. There's plenty of info about the phones on this forum and others and so wont get into the iphone v htc debate. However, comparison is unavoidable!
There is no answer?
I want to use FM Transmitter on HD2.
The HD2 does not have an FM transmitter.
You could try the Motorola T505 that takes a Bluetooth A2DP stereo signal from the phone and acts as a BT Handsfree, but it also retransmits the music as an FM signal.
Answer to question 1 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=583638 (22)
Answer to question 2: NO
you can buy fm transmitters that take the output from your 3.5 stereo socket dirt cheap nowadays.I have seen them for a tenner on my local market though I would be a little wary of the signalquality. this has the added benefit of working with anything with a standard earphone output.I have never seen a micro usb transmitter.

Touch Pro2 + Conver to car mp3z ?

Alright Ive been searching but i can find if anyone has ever done this,
use the mp3z on the TouchPro2 and connect to the radio VIA like the Ipods transmitters adaptors ?
My 2004 Maxima wasnt equiped with mp3z player cd changer, only the 2007.
Ive been searching to see if I could do this with the touchpro2.
there has to be a way cause I really refuse to purchase anything Apple.
What worst is my CD changer now is stuck , (go figure my luck)
Radio is a bit getting played out , any ideas or is it not possiable to utilize the mp3z to transmit to the car radio ?
If I understand correctly you can get an FM modulator that will send your mp3's on your TP2 to a specific channel on the radio. I have a monster one from EBay that is digital and only paid 19bux for. Any electronics store should have it.
One further complication will be that you will have to get an adapter to go from usb to 3.5 unless you have the CDMA version. I use a headphone adapter and a charge unit all in one so the phone stays charged on long trips.

Check out THIS thread. It's in an iPhone/iPod forum, but the 4th post mentions that there's some adapter that will serve as an RCA stereo input to your radio, as long as you don't have the factory satellite radio option installed. If that's the case and you can get one of those adapters, you'll just need a 3.5mm-RCA adapter, available on ebay or at any radio shack. The FM transmitter/modulator options InRBigness mentions will certainly work as well, and are a bit easier to deploy, but this would give you better sound quality as a rule.
I cant post a link cause I'm a n00b so go to Ebay and type this in the search area, "Car FM Transmitter for HTC Tilt 2" I gots me one a month ago and it works great!!!!!

Fuze to Radio?

Hey guys, quick question:
is there device or cable that will allow you to connect your fuze to your car radio so it plays your mp3's?
I know Ipods have that capability?
How about our phones?

Any line-out cable will do.
If however you would like to control your Fuze (i.e. skip, vol. up/down) then you would need a A2DP capable BT adapter for wireless streaming.
Sascha
bluetooth is the easiest way to go, especially if you car already has an a2dp capable bluetooth reciever.
the only thing my alpine head unit doesn't do is show the current track playing from my fuze, but i'm not sure if it's a fuze issue or if it is the alpine.

It seems to be a Windows Mobile issue.

Thanks guys, this was driving me nuts and now I know the answer!
I don't need people to figure out things.
Two words: MotoRokr T505.
Two more words: F*ing Incredible.
Check it out. I enjoy mine thoroughly, wish I used it more, but I'm a public radio junkie. When I'm out of minnesota though, I stream MPR with my phone and through the T505 to the car stereo. Also mp3s and phone calls. Absolutely fantastic quality on everything. Check out the reviews on amazon. I thought about going cheaper, but have never regretted spending the 70 bucks on a new one. Used ones are like 50, great resale value.
I just need to wire mine in now so I never need to worry about the battery. (even though battery life, like everything else, is fantastic)
