Hey
can anybody suggest a good software to hide the on screen keyboard so it does not pop up when I'm in landscape mode.
I've try NullKeyboard but it does not what to work on my Qtek 9000 with the lastest rom for some reason.
Please help me.

I've still haven't found a tweak to set the backlight keyboard qteq 9100/MDA VARIO always on when te keyboard slides open?

problems with the keyboard:
with all the Balck Rom from the 3 in then the modality horizontal screen works, but if the keyboard qwerty is used and it is closed returns vertical. how to resolve this problem?

hi.
when you change the spb keayboard to the fullscreen version it rotates automatically to landscape. but when you turn the device to landscape mode gyrator notices it and changes the application you are typing in and the spb keyboard disappears.
how can you change that?
I have this issue too and would be interested if anyone knows how to stop it from closing the keyboard on rotation

I had the same problem so I uninstalled it and used this program: -
"[APP] Alternative to Gyrator / Screen tilt app"
I don't have the problem now.

Thanks for the info! But please tell me, if the app you suggested automatically ignores screen rotation within SPB Keyboard or if you added an exception? If the latter is the case, please provide the info you used, since you can add exceptions with Gyrator as well!
If you didn't add an exception I guess I'll uninstall gyrator and switch!

I just tried using the program you suggested but it has the exact same problem: Whenever I use my device in portrait mode and open the fullscreen SPB Keyboard and rotate my device to use the keyboard, the keyboard disappears!

I remember there was this WM6 tweak app [AdvancedConfigurationTool] which you could modify a lot of options and one of them was to turn on/off the keyboard backlight on slide out.
It's roaming somewhere on these forums. Don't ask me to search for it for you.

Just got my Touch Cruise T4242. It's a great device but it has one annoyance: it's stuck in the phonepad mode... choosing the option to switch to either keyboard, compact qwerty or full qwerty mode has no effect. Does anyone have a solution for this problem? Thanks in advance!

Have you try some 3rd party keyboards? Just to check, if it is global problem.
Thanks for the tip... installed Resco and choose option to run as default... somehow that unlocked the keyboard functionality as now all the different keyboard are accessible.
