hi, my name is warren and i'm from australia, and i require some help with my o2 xda ii mini
i have been playing around with bluetooth stacks and programs to get my bluetooth gps reciever to talk with my xdaII mini, and have come intio a new problem that has only seemed to come about recently
so.. the phone works fine
except.. when i am in-call, if i turn the pda on (eg to make a note or check the call timer) then the phone stops working. i can still hear the other person, but they can't hear me. i assume the microphone stops working or something? if i call them back immediately it works fine again, its just if i turn it on in-call!
i installed a bleutooth stack on here but i cant uninstall it to see if that fixes the problem

Which BT stack did you install? Most GPS receivers work flowlessly. In most cases the only thing to install is a patch called BTComPort.cab.
yeah unfortunately i realise that now!
i did install the above "BTcomport" patch but i also installed this stack: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=249219
nto sure what to do. i tried uninstalling it but it says files are in use. i tried deleting all the required files, but cannot delete 2 of them which are apparently in use
I've just got a brand new hero. Although everything works fine the bluetooth support is lousy. Ie, I want to keep the device always discoverable (like on other WM based HTC's) but I can't seem to get that. It is only discoverable for a few secs Is there a way to change this? Cheers
I don't why didn't they include common BT drivers. You can simply choose any version of WM and it will work the BT keyboard will still work. But even with same OS it doesnt work.
I saw that wiimote works but it doesn't work on this phone even though same OS.
Hi,
After 4 months of good job ,the bluetooth PAN client function stopped working..
I have always used this function to connect my Leo to an Internet adsl pc.(via BT)
Also tried to join again the bluetooth pc with Leo....but did not work ....
So I ask you if you encontered this strange problem.
Maybe some registry settings damaged.....or something like that..
Shall I hard reset ??

Sadly you need to use Bluetooth Fix Repair (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.phk.bluetoothfixrepair) to make it work again OR to reboot the device quite a lot of times.
The program mentioned earlier actually works, I actually use quite a lot the Bluetooth for the Sixaxis controller application, which also works well on our xt890.
