i can connect my device on my computer and browse trough it but cant synchronise, i think from widcomm .. i disabled it but PLZ can someone send me backup activesync regsettings or something ASAP .
can you just uninstall activesync and then reinstall it?
Help needed with Wizard
Hi I just bought the wizard and spoke to Ashe today. he suggested that I come here for help since it won't "register settings" (just hangs there) when I plug in the activesync.
I am using XP professional on a corporate license. It's proably down to some settings but don't what to do with it?

Help! today i was playing with my uni today and for some reason now active sync wont syncronize everytime i connect on the device it says connected and it gives me this error
"Synchronization cannot be completed successfully. Reconnect your device and try again. If the problem persists, see the Microsoft ActiveSync Troubleshooter in Microsoft ActiveSync Help on your desktop computer."
and it is connected with the Guest account afterwards, it was working about 30min ago...
i think hat caused it is i accidently deleted a folder in application data called MDM or MDA or sth i cant remember would that have caused the problem? anyone go a backup of that file? maybe i can get a copy of? or anyone know the cause of the prob? i've turned off my firewall and everything just incase i thought it would intervene with active sync but still no luck
also i can install ay app it keep saying Installation of "the app.cab" was unsuccessful.

First of all i really want to thank all the Helmi_c and all the developers; My BA is most updated running wm6.
Well much better than wm5 but I have some issues:
1. cant sync it with my PC in anyways (BT, usb etc), USB drivers are not working correctly.
2. sometimes when i pick or dial a call, i cant hear nething.
and last but not relevant to this, guys how do i stop my BA slider from falling down when I use keyboard.
1. Try delete the actual partnership in AS, sync again; if not reinstall AS on PC
2. No problem here with the sound.

I upgraded my XDA2s, customized it,backedup, then upgraded my brothers XDA2s and used my customized backup on his XDA2s.
Now my XDA connects fine, but his doesn't !!!
Both our XDa2s's are identical in everyway.
tried a hard reset and restore from another backup and still no luck!
we were trying to save time re-installing the same softwares.
tried deleting partnerships, no luck. tried spb backup and clone, no luck.
any ideas!
Do you get any error messages on AS? Can you browse the internet from device?

can anybody post usb drivers i think this is the problem cause my device isnt installed properly it says problem with inf file.
whoever is able to connect his device to xp desktop via active sync usb connection, please copy the drivers folder contents from program files in active sync folder.

Is your windows firewall enabled? Since WM6 activesync makes use of a LAN connection to sync with the PC, you must allow activesync trough the windows XP firewall, or disable the windows XP firewall completely...

i recently got a German O2 XDA Neo and it's now 2 days i cannot get it synced with any pc... pls someone help, cause i'm desperate because of German OS (sry, i don't speak it well) and a whole bunch of contacts on my pc...
for the first time i tried to sync it with Windows Mobile Device Center on my desktop pc with Vista. but no luck, even then I opened all needed ports in windows firewall. no luck with getting it synchronized after soft or hard reset, restated my pc for a 1000 time and still no connection. when i tryed it on my brothers Win XP laptop with active sync 4.1 german (what was with the pda in a box) and with 4.5 active sync, again all needed TCP UTP ports open and restarted everything and tried every USB port around. still nothing ...
when changed USB cord and still no luck.
what can it be? can Neo's Mini USB slot just stop working?? or is it software issue? perhaps there is a way to flash it with other firmware from SD card?
please help, i'm all out of ideas ...

I am using iPAQ612 with somehow I can connect iPAQ612 with any computer with the ActiveSync. It was working smoothly and I haven't connect with ActiveSync for longtime. Couple days ago I was trying to upgrade new ROM and connect with the ActiveSync I found this problem.
I have tried many ways of solving this issue but still not make it solved.
These are what I have tried.
1. I have tried to reinstall ActiveSync and install New ActiveSync4.5
2. I have tried to install new windowsxp on new harddisk and install activeSync4.5
3. I have checked on Setting System "USB to PC" both checked and unchecked
4 I have tried to connect with VISTA and install Windows Mobile Device Center
5. I have tried to unchecked Power / USB Charging
All above I tried T_T still unsolved my problem
Any suggestion can help I'm very welcome.... and thanks in advance.
PS. Can anyone Dump original ROM WM6.0 for me I'm thinking to take iPAQ612 to HP Center but I have to change my rom to original version

Hi,
What ROM are you using now ? Normally, if you install AS 4.5, it will wait for a PPC to connect and then make a new profile etc. Unless something went wrong with your ROM-update.
