ROM Prophet upgrade

Have anyone tried this yet?

this one is from february. mine came with it and it works fine. However, no push email.
According to I-mate a new update will come in march so I'll wait for this new update (or wait for someone to upload a qtek s200 firmware )

there is a new rom for prophet ... www.dopoasia.com ... you need to register as a member first

Orange Latest ROM on QTEK9000

I read lots of posts regarding upgrading to New ROMs, I was scared to change my QTEK9000 french ROM because I could not find any French ROM posted in order to revert back to my previous ROM in case I am not happy with the new ROM.
Finally I found the original french ROM for QTEK 9000 and I have decided to try different ROM's.
I upgrade to the latest I-mate rom personnaly I did not noticed any improvement in term of speed to open applications comparing to my old Qtek ROM.
-Unable to use GPRS Monitor
-Soft reset du to freeze
I have decided to try the Orange latest ROM:
I have noticed a big difference in term of application launching speed
No problem to install GPRS Monitor
I will keep this version until next O2 ROM release

Is there a Rom update for German VPAC 2?

Hi everyone,
I have a German Vodaphone VPAC 2 and would like to know which rom i could use to update my ROM because I would like to get rid of the continous hidden softresets ;(
Or can I use a wwe rom and use a language pack to have everything back to german language?!
Please do advise

I would also be interested in ... this ROM is getting old now, and it seems many bugs have been fixed in the QTEK ROMs. There's another forum (in German) here where many people have the vpc2:

I have the TMobile german ROM for a week now, works fine so far (though can't change the splash screen somehow). Be aware that it's labeled as "beta", it's 2.8.something, on the FTP.

Need Prophet Orange FRE rom (M600)

Hi all,
Would someone be able to upload the whole M600 Orange rom to the ftp?
There already the ext. rom, but I would like to downgrade with the full rom as my prophet is clearly dead on the wifi side and will be switched with another one by Orange France.

nevermind, my device will be replaced tommorow, I'll let the Orange technicians work on stting it back to their rom...
Although they should let it on the dopod one as it is clearly better :wink:

O2 Rom

hi is there anyway that i can dump the o2 rom from one of my other company phones? i updated my o2 rom to wwe 1.48 5 days ago and since as a result have had the phone randomly freeze, as in just will not power on, i have to reset the phone then it works fine for maybe day to day and half, if i could get the o2 rom could put back and see how it goes as my other 2 engineers have had no probs with o2 1.43 rom

You could try the official HTC 1.43 ROM instead of the O2 version. At least then you wont have all the O2 stuff and disabled wifi router

True, but with the o2 rom, a few of the bugs people have mentioned in launch roms are not there. I.E. notification led is fine, no spelling mistakes and so on.

Count me in too if someone can obtain an official O2 Rom

I don't think there is any way to dump a rom to use on another phone as the digital signature is lost
