I have sucessfuly Upgraded my Qtek 1010 with WM 2003 4.01.16 by Bootloader method Thanks to Biso007 for his help.But now when Qtek turns off after 3mins It does not switch on even after pressing Power Button i tied several times.Now i have to do Reset Everytime or uncheck the box for turning off the device.
Whats wrong what to do I miss calls now.
Can i reinstall the same ROM or any other?
Please help me to slove this issue

using the sd upgrade mode you can upgrade downgrade sidegrade to what ever rom you want older newer or the same .......
I still recommend using 4.01.00 ROM

i got mine from tmobile and pulled out the nbf file
if the latest from tmobile have a later rom then 4.01 then i used the beta
it was a nice rom

Dont ever add KSE True Fax while cooking ROM 4.01.16.KSE Truefax will make your device sleep and make lifetime Resoft to wake-up.
I have tried all the WM Eng ROMs in my Qtek1010 none of them seems to be stable on my device.When I press Power button to switch on it make SOFT RESET.Still could not find the solution to this,so I need to roll back to my Qtek 1010 ROM.
Can I Install the official ROM back agian?
Which method is safe SD card Flashing or Active Sync?
I also need the Official Boot Screen
I did not have backup of Qtek 1010 2002 ROM
Please help

Did you try cooking your ROM using Lumpistefan Kitchen? http://lumpistefan.dyndns.org/

I have found that SD flashing using an external SD card reader worked 100 %
I also need the Official Boot Screen

Thanks Tanguy for reply.Yes I have cooked almost all Eng WM 2003 ROMs from Lumi Stefan kitchen.After Doing upgrade I did hard reset.But still the same.
Is it my power button gives problem or the OS.I never had problem OS 2002.
Now i have tried O2 4.01.12 Eng ROM same Problem.

Can anyone help me to locate Qtek 1010 2002 ROm with Qtek boot screen.In rom kitckens there are all for O2.i only need to replace my cooked boot screen of O2 need to change this.

Added Qtek Bootimage of the 3.16.13 Rom to the kitchen.....
(this rom was already in the kitchen.....)
Added the bootimage to download. You can change it manualy at xour device, using the

confused about rom versions. Is 4.01.16 newer than 4.00.21 ?
also, t-mobile told me it was the 2003 upgrade with this rom RUUv2.07_CEv4.01.16
that is causing my sd card to get erased and that there was nothing I could do and that I couldnt even go back to 2002. Are they jacking with me or what?

You can roll back to the 2002 ROM. I've done it successfully with my SD.

did you manage to fix your soft reset problem with a software upgrade. i posted a while back about this and i was told it was a hardware issue. i tried several roms from the kitchen. the 309 siemens one *seems* to make it do less soft resets

I would like to return to my old Qtek 1.06 ITA rom. I've downloaded nearly all the ITA roms in the Magician directory of the ftp site.
How can I check if a rom it's Qtek or Imate? Or is there just Imate?

GSM (not appear).

Well, your WIZARD is not DEAD - just starting in BOOTLOADER mode. Looks like you did not flash it right! SOLUTION: Flash it again - in case the WM6 won't flash try another ROM (best thing: your shipped one!).
Since you'e a QTEK owner you can register at the QTEKs homepage with its IMEI number (you can find it under the battery on the label) and download the latest ROMs ...
Still remains in Bootloader Mode
Hi June2003, I try to reflash the phone many times, but the status is the same, one of the thinks that I concern is that the Rom Update Utility ver 2.5.2 not show me the current version of my Qtek (the version the lastest ROM in Qtek site doesnt work) and the upgrade version.
Before the execute the process, I read some posts into this forum that Qtek 9100 aka Wizard could be upgrading from WM5 to WM6, and this is the reason about my phone is freeze.
Any advice......
