I would like to get copy of orginal Qtek 1010 Rom 3.14.06 and Radio T313.Anybody knows where I can get them? are they in the Internet?
I need to restore my orginal PPC2002 and Radio too

We currently have the following ROM images available and may be used to upgrade earlier devices. All languages will soon be available as:
Rom version 1.11.00
Radio version 1.11.00
(New!) ExtROM version 1.11.132 (WWE)
(New!) ExtROM version 1.11.183 (Arabic)
(New!) ExtROM version 1.11.169 (North American 850-only model)
(New!) ExtROM version 1.11.179 (UK)
(New!) ExtROM version 1.11.182 (French)
Fixes:
ROM builds with radio versions 1.05.00 and 1.10.00 all include audio enhancements for voice calls. Radio build 1.11.00 includes improved support for Cell Broadcast and SIM Toolkit applications.
All new builds contain the improved camera driver and fix for "No Bluetooth Hardware" bug. ROM builds 1.11.00 also includes a new MMS client for improved network compatability and an upgrade to the Operating System.
The North American 850 build includes support for more T-Mobile SIM subscriptions. These settings are all available as separate operator CAB settings files for download from this site.

WWE would bacically be customisation for use in US and other english speaking territories etc, however UK basically would have settings and configurations for use with the UK networks.

If they are then we would only need the ext rom cab files from this iMate 1.11 to upgrade?

I was thinking the same... I updated my i-Mate JAM to the Qtek 1.11 and it has been very stable... However, I would like to get the UK Ext Rom (1.11.179) to give it a whirl...

Well I couldnt wait so I upgraded.. everything in the EXT ROM is the same as the QTEK 1.11 except
1 - the usual KSE FAX v2.09,
2 - Version_WWE_111132.cab
3 - Imatev1.00.1.0.cab
All other MMS, BT Patch, etc.. are exactly the same as the QTEK EXT ROM.
so to summarise, I wouldnt bother upgrading to this ROM if you already have the QTEK 1.11, unless you want the KSE fax or the imate customisation.
The curiousity has just wasted an hour of my work time.. :lol:
now Im back to hexediting the rom for big storage..

Where can QTEK users register to receive information about new rom updates? Is there a place like Club iMATE for Qtek owners?
My Versions are:
ROM 1.1.7.5
Radio 01.01.10
Protocol Version 4.0.13.16
ExtROM version 1.1.7.105
From what I understand there is a new ROM version 1.1.9.3, where can I get it? How do I install it? What are the improvements over the version I have?
Is there a WM5 upadte somewhere?
And by the way, the new Skype works very bad on my machine... maybe my mistake was installing it on the MiniSD? Does it make a difference?

If you want the 1.1.9.3 rom take the Imate rom
the only registration for qtek that I know of is on the dutch site.

Should I install the iMATE ROM? Do you know what are the improovements over the ROM version I have?
This machine is cute, I really like it. But it is full of bugs and VERY slow... :roll:
I tried to instal the Imate Rom from the FTP site and I was able to download it, but when I tried to instal it, I got the "Invalid Vendor ID" message. What am I doing wrong?

Hi, i have a qtek 8020 with installed the imate sp3i rom (2.33.33.21) and now i want to flash my rom with the original qtek rom but when i try the flash goes well but when the phone restarts NOTHING TO DO the imate rom stay here and the qtek rom doesn't work. The imate rom win always and i can't return to the original, why?
