SIMLock try reset - JASJAR, XDA Exec, MDA Pro General

Hi,
I'm trying to break the simlock application, however after having tried two times the time-out is quite annoying
I can bypass the time-out, but I really don't feel like trying 99 times and having to wait AGES when I want to unlock it legally
Would anyone know how to reset this number (eg. flashing radio ROM?) ?
Thanks,
TB

Hi there. How did you manage to bypass the time-out? I am stuck on "you have tried xx times, please wait until timeout." Problem is, its not timing out.. its been 2 days.

If you are sure you are entering the right password then its either...
You got flat battery or somebody might have removed your battery.
The only thing you can do is to Hard Reset your phone and choose the No/Yes/No Option to protect your data.
that will restore the Original Registry BUT your program customization will be gone if you do that.
TIP:
dont use the WM6 System Password.
Find an alternative password protection program on the web.
Hi,
today that happened to me the second time. My battery runs complettely out of charge an then BA doesn´t accept my password. This can´t be right?!?!
can you tell me which alternate password protection software I can use?

Upgraded SX66 To WM6 (Helmi): Device Passcode No Longer Works

I'm hoping somebody here can help, because I'd hate to have to get rid of a device that I really love...
Used Helmi's WM6 (http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index...angel_WM6_Home) to upgrade from WM2003SE and everything was working beautifully!
I was absolutely LOVING the new software until my device just stopped accepting the passcode that I had been using for 2 years. What I don't understand is I had to use the passcode a few times after the upgrade and all was fine. What could have happened for it to suddenly change by itself (because I know it wasn't me)?
Someone at the PocketPCAddicts forum suggested that I locate an original factory ROM to wipe out everything on the device and try again from scratch. I've searched the web looking for such a beast and can't find one (since the manufacturer/carrier no longer support it).
Can someone here help?
Debbie
Had the same problem...
Hi Debbie,
Same thing happened when I upgraded from WM2003 to the WM6 ROM. Unfortunately there was no solution and I just ended up disabling the password to ensure I never got stuck.
If you ever stumble upon a solution that works for you, I'd be happy to hear about it!
I'm about to try out the latest WM6.11 and hope it will have that particular issue solved - I'll let you know.
Ken
if you press and hold power+record+camera the same time and then reset you get to the boot loader.
you will see the 3 options, which i have fogotten, but if you put in the same options as instructions tell you after flashing a new rom, then push the mail button i believe, it will format you memory and you will be able to get back in again.
i had the same problem where i was locked out and i did that and just sync'd again to get back to my positon prior getting locked out.
hope that helps
Thanks, I will try it again.
Should I be able to simply repeat those steps, or should I start from the beginning? I don't have the device with me right now.
Thanks again,
Debbie
follow the instructions after the flashing the rom stage all the way to the end.
you choose to format memory on the gray screen with 3 options.
i flashed the wm6.1(5.2.19716) several days ago, and tested in several situations, my BA can remember the pw now, thanks for the hardwork of rom maker.
Thanks! (Now Internet Problem)
I got it to finally work, after getting a 3rd hand to help in the key combination/timing.
Only problem now is that my SX66 no longer connects to the Internet. Tried every setting/CAB I could find and no dice. AT&T tech and advanced tech support didn't help and I was told that the OS may have corrupted the connectivity.
Should I try loading another WM6 version?
Thanks again,
Debbie

HELP Please cannot unlock........

Have installed swype, recommended soft reset which i did. Phone will now not unlock, put in my four numbers on lock screen and it says invalid password. Tried another soft reset now if you put in the four numbers and press unlock nothing happens. It came up with a message saying i had input wrong password too many times and gave me a code to put in. a1b2c3 done this goas back to lock screen but still not taking my password. Any help please
"You need to disable your password before installing swype 3.9. Then after its installed and you soft reset then add your password again. It happens because swype 3.9 is from the TMOUS and needs to change the ID of your phone to T-Mobile_LEO. This is what causes the issue."
from this thread htchd2forum
Was it swype 3.9 you installed??
Might mean a hard reset.......
Sorry.....

Yes was 3.9, no other way but hard reset?
That was the most relevant info I could find......
I really cant see anyway round it (although I could be wrong).....
"swype 3.9 is from the TMOUS and needs to change the ID of your phone to T-Mobile_LEO."
Im assuming you cannot establish an activesync connection until the password screen is passed??
I know that might be a stupid question but I've never used a password on any phone I've ever owned....
If it was possiible to connect to a computer you might be able to change the setting which was altered by the installation of swype......
However I doubt thats a possibilty because if you were able to do that It would be pointless having the password enabled in the first place......
Dont hard reset just yet... wait it out... somebody on here might be able to provide you with a fix.....
Hope it works out for you.........

Activation key not working any more

In mh HD2 i have re-flash LEo70 rom and when i try to re-use my activation code then i get the message "The key is incorrect"
I know that the key is valid (i have use it 2 times before ) and typed correctly.
I did try this a lot of time but no joy ??
Any help please ????
I used my code more than ten times, without any problem. Call MS and try to get a new one. It will be no problem.
Let us know how you get on with this, as I would be interested to know. With the pending NoDo and Mango updates looming its likely we will need to re-flash from scratch and therefore re-activate... It would be a pain in the ass if MS have deactivated all the manually generated activation codes...
Typo?
I also used mine about 6 times now.
Still going, flashed different roms, and upgrade versions. Each time, i had to re-activate, my key is still going.....
I heared rumours that you can only used it 3 times, but does not seem to be the case...
I had this issue when I first activated my device. It happens when you enter an incorrect code and then enter a correct code. A hard reset from within WP7 resolved the issue.
Try to do it then report
I have reflash my WP 7 Yesterday, too. Now I used six times my Activationkeys. I didn't think, that all Keys will be erease by Microsoft. When I think about it, i mean, that i havd read for a few weeks, that original HTCs musst be activiated to.

Unable to decrypt samsung galaxy s4

Hi, I have an i9505 which I have rooted with the help of some of the guides on here.
Anyway, I encrypted my phone from settings -> security not really knowing what I was doing. I was just thinking that it would make my phone more secure or whatever.
Anyway, following this I now have to enter a password every time I lock my phone screen which I find very inconvenient and I understand that I can't install any custom roms in the future.
I have tried to decrypt the phone from settings -> security but the process doesn't seem to complete.
It says that the decrypting process is irreversible ect ect.. it will take one hour ect... ect.. then when I click to confirm it and begin the decryption process the phone just seems to switch off then it turns back on by itself within 30-60 seconds and that is it. The phone is still encrypted?
Can anyone help me please?
I am really gutted!!!
Thanks
I am experiencing the same problem right now, did you ever find a solution?

I was keeping my hopes going because there is a "decrypt device" option in the security settings, but that wouldn't work and I was hoping I was ****ing it up somehow. Guess device cleansing is my only option.

Decrypting a Samsung Galaxy S4
Had the same problem several times. Make sure "USB Debugging" is off in the "Developer Options" section of the Settings screen.
Dont fret....go to settings<lock screen and then change it to swipe....Hope this works!

Last night i had the same problem but i managed to fix
If you press decode it says password and then enter a password of at least 6 digits AND AT LEAST 1 NUMBER to activate the decoding part i tottaly missed that but i realized it a few hours after.
And then it started decoding for about half an hour and it was fixed.
Hope this was usefull so you wont need a system reset.
Given that the original post was in 2013, the OP likely had to reset, if none of the other posts from 2013 in the thread helped.
4.1/2 years on - there must be someone out there that knows how to decrypt the GT-I9195 ??
I spent yesterday researching pro's & con's of encrypting my phone. Couldn't find anyone saying password had to be entered EVERY TIME I USE the phone, just people wrongly advising that I would have to enter password every time I switch the phone on. I could live with that, I thought, so I encrypted it. Big mistake. Why anyone wants a phone that needs a password on every use, I do not know.
Please help me decrypt my phone. Thanks
