Network Logo - JASJAR, XDA Exec, MDA Pro General

Hello,
Im currently on the BT Mobile network, however the display on my exec show's it as Vodafone UK? Any idea how i can fix this if it can be fixed? Its not a problem in anyway, but if anyone has any suggestions i would be gratefull.
Thanks

You are talking about the logo on the phone dialer?
This logo is a simple 120x20 pixel .gif file named carrierlogo.gif in your windows directory.
Delete it or replace it with your own logo, then soft-reset und you are done.
=) Georg

For the Universal is 220x40 pixel.

Yes, it would be nice to know how. Some fellas in the HTC Wizard forum released a utility to do this for the Wizard, hoping someone would do the same for Trinity.
What would be nice though is being able to change both the HTC bootscreen and the Windows Mobile one too.
You can change the windows mobile screen... same trick for all wm5 devices, search the forum.
You can't change the splash screens (htc logo) because trinity's bootloader only allows signed code to be flashed...

Yes, of course, but I'm sure some talent go-getters are going to find a way of unlocking the bootloader at some point.
Thanks for the info regarding the Windows Mobile one, I guess it's just welcomehead.96.png in the \windows\ directory.

Qtek 9100 boot screen

Hi,
I have a Qtec 9100 with WM 5.
When I start it I get the custom boot up screen (white with VODAPHONE written accross it).
Does anyone know where this graphic is (or name of it) so that I can customise it.
I can access the windows dir via ActiveSync and figured that maybe I can access this graphic there.
I want to do it because I bought the unlocked phone, and I have O2 not Vodaphone. I know it is something I can live with, but if I can access this file it would be good.
Has anyone done this before?
Thanks
Adrian

Heya! Ok, what i did was the following,
1: hold down the 2 function buttons on either side of the joystick (NOT the call answer and call kill buttons, between them )
2: while holding the buttons down, use the pen and press the reset button at the bottom of the phone.
You should now have a bootloader screen, with an HP logo, and SERIAL or USB line of text at the top, and a G.39 version text at the bottom of the screen....
Activsync need not be connected at this stage, just your USB cradle or cable....
3: Download and extract the _Sable___G3_DEVICE_ONLY_hw6915-1.21uk.rar file from above... remember to delete the files from folder - CEBL.nbf, RadioFS.nbf, RadioOS.nbf..
4: run the sableRUU.exe ... this will now install the CE OS in english....
mine has been in brick phase for weeks now, its the first time i managed to get the OS back up! Now i need to sort out the GSM problem....!
Hope this helps!!!
Thank you guys

Flashing
If you do not know what you are flashing, do not flash it. Do your research before you flash anything.
We have alot of hw69xx bricks because of this, including mine.
I have to this day only fixed 2 "NO GSM" phones, I am asking anyones help to fix others.
Post in my thread "OFFICIAL hw6900 NO GSM FIX FOR SOME PHONES / WM 6 PORT "
