i have qtek pw10a1 it hange in blue screen qtek ise under screen

and wheni press power and rest isee wallby boot loader v5.22
gsm ok
so how can islove this problem and please tell me how can i do hard rest .
and can i upgrade it with 3.20.06_ENG.exe if yes please tell me steps .
first tell me how can i do hard rest.

Hard Reset can be done by unscrewing your pen and sticking twice in the little hole near the earphone connector. But entering bootloader (power button and soft reset) ha teh same effect.
You can not use the exe file for flashing directly, because flashing via exe file requires a ActiveSync connection between PC an Phone...

thanks for your replay and iam sorry for two post which i wrote i do as you tell me now iwant to flash it but i dont know how can i put it in flash mode i put it in gsm ok but computer cannot see it do inedd any driver so please replay soon

If the file is writtten in correct format on the SD Card and you enter the bootloader with the insert SD-Card, it will go automaticly in Flashmode.
If that happend not on your device, the ROM is not written correctly on the SD Card.

at no point in the linked page do your phone have to be detected or comm in any way with the computer

when i press copy it saye please connect your xda to active syinc

there is two hole near ear phone connectre do you want me topress it in the same time for secondes i pressed it but same problem

The way to do a hard reset is to remove the power of the battery. This is done by the small hole on the side of the earphone connector, marked with a battery sign.
But this will not help you. You require a SD-Card and an SD-Card writer to flash a new ROM on your device. All have already said on the first postings.

it aske me for nbi files and i dont have it so from where i can download it .
itry rest+power button then i go to flash tools and i select ce os+boot to sd and i copy it completed then i do rest i go to sd download and i download it but same problem .
so from where i can nb1 files

You can use either nb1 or nbf files. You can extract tgat file from any existing ROM in EXE-Format (using winzip) or download the nbf format from the Romkitchen for example....

As much as ii know there is no Arabic ROM available. Just english, french, spanish, iatlian, german and one chinese version.....

WM6k on Magician - Your Attansion needed

People,
For a start - i am a fresh newbie and dot have any experience at all in ROMS.
I have read all threads on this tree but decided to do it anyway - just for the fun and experience...
I DIDN'T succeeded on upgrading my jam to wm6 but maybe you will be able to tell me why.
I have download a JasJAR wm6 update and started to play with it a little.
For a start , i have put the Last 113 update(MA_TMNL_11300_132_11200_Ship) and the new wm6 Nk.nbf file together in the same folder - and started the NOid upgrade, for my (very hough )surprise - the upgrade process went exactly like from 112 to 113 meaning all 3 stages from 113 to 2.25 - my heart pumped up for about 30 min until the upgrade completed(64M) - after that all i got is the USB\Serial boot loader.
Is this a stage someone have reached?
If the image could uploaded but couldn't boot - can this be fixed via hack ?
PS - all this started when i wanted the new SPB shell application since it is a very cool looking but works only on WM5...

Nope - i didn't reach this stage in WM5....
this thing started when i download the WM6 from mininova...wanted to play with it a little bit.
i tried the original ROMUpgradeUt.exe and it gave me a JAS JAR picture with model number - then i tried the NOid.exe and it gave me a Magician picture with its model number!!! -from there the road was short to try what i did in the above..

ive got the same phone and when i tried upgrading to wm5 i incountered the same problem, it now wont do anything no matter what i do soft reset, hard reset, take the battery out for an hour. it is stuck in a boot loader screen so i think it might be salageable. but cant find original 2003 windows ver. and cant get it to connect with activesync. although when i do connect it, i do get a connection via usb and get the sound confirmation and pop up. if anyone could help or give me any suggestions it would be great.

I have a HTC Shift on which Win XP was recently installed . The problem is that it doesn't see the Snapvue part - I can't open it and can't acccess the Comm manager either. In Snapvue I just get a white screen, with the HTC logo - and the comm manager button (upper right) doesn't do anything when pressed.
The guy who installed the Win XP said something about using Active sync to enable communication between the 2 processors (?!) - The device has Active Sync installed, but it just tells me it can't synchronize.
I am a girl, as you probably noticed, and know very little about computers and stuff....Could someone save me? I ned a step-by-step guide for solving this problem, but written for DUMMIES (such as me
I also understand I could reset the device to the original Vista - but have no idea how to do it?!
Please help - I've been looking at my Shift for 3 whole days, and am getting al depressed..

Did you turn off the device completely? I would remove it from the power, remove the battery, and give a 10 to 20 secs and put battery back and boot it.
Let me know if you have issues.
To restore it to Vista, if the recovery partition is not swiped, just press Fn+3 at the boot time and once it goes into recovery, and just follow the steps.

When I press Fn + 3, it just goes on and starts Windows XP normally (the xp "half" works allright - it's the comm and snapvue which are dead )

I insisted on pressing the FN+3 , and after one or two questions (if I wanted to continue etc) it said "invalid data on recovery partition" - and now the screen just shows black and there's no winxp anymore - I suppose I should write some commands, as there's a white line blinking....but I don't know how to do it.....Heeeelp!

If XP has been installed in place of Vista, then the recovery partition has been wiped, so FN + 3 will not work for recovering Vista.
The Vista (or XP) side and the snapvue side are two totally different entities, so you can wipe the hard drive and snapvue will still work, as it lives in ROM.
So you have 2 separate problems, you need to re-install an OS, and you need to find out why snapvue is not booting.

I managed to enter the bios ( pressed DEL) and it says that hard drive Toshiba etc is "disabled" - so no wonder it can't boot...
Could I do something to enable it or whatever?
Or should I give up ?

Who installed XP for you?
Since you need to now 1 or 2 things about computers to do so, I think that person is the one who can help you and do it the quickest....
Other wise you need to post a message after every step and then wait for one of us to respond.... that would take days if not weeks....
Given your name, I guess you don't live near Enschede, the netherlands do you?
Otherwise You could come by and I could give it a go....

[Q] Vanilla upgrade failed, USB out on TYTN

Hello,
I've tried to reload my TYTN with Vanilla Rom to resolve the 'no gsm' message on it. During the flash, Usb link is lost and now when I turn on the PDA, I've just the screen above.
Now, the USB port don't work, when I connect the PDA on PC it don't see it. Maybe it is possible to restore it with SD card but how?

get a storage card less than 2GB, format it and in your PC rename the Signed.nbh file to HERMIMG.nbh. Insert the storage card and put the device in bootloader mode it will start the flash from the sd card

I 've execute your instructions, it better but after bootloader, I have wrote in blue on white screen 'loading', few seconds after 'checking' and finally '00028002' 'not allow'.
After that, the pda return on 4 colored blocs, on the upper (red) there is writting :
in white : HERM200 IPL-1.00
in yellow : HERM200 SPL-1.04
On the lower bloc (white) 'Serial'
When I reset the pda, I have these instructions at the bottom of the screen :
M 05
B 04 No GSM
B 05 D 3.22.0.0
Maybe this malfunction is due to a wrong rom but how identifie the right rom and where found it ?
Maybe it's due to the hardspl not installed but how install it wihout usb connection. ActiveSync don't connect the pda.

[Q] HP IPAQ 614c PC activesync, connection problem

I have HP IPAQ 614c and i can't connect this phone with any pc or any USB cable. I get message unknown drivers... Maybe someone knows what the problem it is ? I wana install normaly ROM and firmware, but i can't connect my phone to pc... Thanks a lot who will help me to fix it...

Instructions for flashing (extrated from: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=800558):
Download de firmware. Decompress it and you have the .dio file. Put this file into a less than 2 gb sd (sdhc won't work) and put your device in sdloader mode. This happens pressing together volumeup + ok and pressing reset releasing the two vol and ok buttons. After doing this, the device checks the file integrity, flash to your device rom and do a clean reboot. When is finished, it ahould autoreset, but if not, it will show a black screen for a long time. Is then when it has finished, so then make a reset and your device will have installed the ROM

How to update flash.dio i know. I Need english version. I have updated OS. But how to update FW ? Becouse now mine is 0.81 version. And then i upload original flash.dio from HP hexeded file. Phone installing one this file from 6 files. Like i see on screen phone, missing 5 files to install... Sorry for bad english, but i think you will understand me what i mean...
On phone i have some bugs, like xt9 in SMS mode. And bug in contacts. Can't seach contact by name, i can put only numbers there to seach. GPS not work. And other little bugs.
But main problem is how to activesync this phone ? Why PC can't find phone ( device ). Tryed anything. Different PC, different windows. Different cables. Can't find solution for it... I think must be way to find problem. HP agents can't help me, becouse warranty ended, heh. They just told me what phone port for cable can be out of working. But phone charging working well...

So who gona help me ?...

DeFuSeGM, you are able to activesync by bluetooth, just follow the activesync help topic under connection using bluetooth. Starting i got a lot problem to setup and took me quite a while to get it solve out. U can try it.
BTW, anyone can share how fast is your bluetooth phone to phone transfer rate. Mine is only 50kb/s, seem like quite slow compare to other phone i used to use.

I had the same problem on my 614c, I opened the device and re soldered the usb connector. Haven't had any problem since that.
But it requires good soldering skills.

In phone installed wrong OS. So i can't turn on bluetooth... Screen just blinking, thats all...

Can someone make picture of sync cable ? Maybe i have wrong usb cable. Becouse repairman sayd what anything with phone okey. Seems i need get corect cable. Thanks

Have changed main board and anything was okey with phone. Seems if USB dont work, you need change main board or try load ROM by SD card. But in my way i was stuck on that.
