Hi guys,
Before I install stuff I'd like to know if the following is POSSIBLE. A radio station can only be played with Adobe Flash. Other radio stations I listen to have the WMP option and works great. I get my mobile friendly links from:
http://www.canadianwebradio.com/ontario.html
The problematic station I'd like is:
CKQB - Virgin Radio 106.9 106.9 FM Ottawa Flash Player FlashPlayer Rock
Is it possible to load vtap or something to play these flash only, listen live, radio stations? Adobe can't be loaded on Touch. I don't care about video, I just want to listen to radio from stations where Flash is the only option. Thanks!
If inbuit FM radios of many WM6.1 devices can be somehow streamed (and may be controlled) live over WIFI network (like WMWifiRouter at home) we could listen to FM radio all over home on any PC or wifi capable appropriate device. Ideas is just make a sort of playlist with embabed IP & port information and it will play over WMPlayer etc.
I found BTFMRAdio (however download doesn't work) and this is a logical next step for homewide FM radio to any PC and Laptop.
Any comments please.
Has it been solved or already discussed here? Or does it seem not possible?
why wont the vario 2 play internet radio stations that use the format wma 32kbps
i thought it was a tough one
more more more info
do it play other rates?
do it play other internet radio sources ?
is it over wifi?
it it over 3g?
what streaming program?
what browser?
Try using Mundu Radio, it's a really good bit of software that enables you to listen to internet radio on you windows mobile.
thank you ihave changed to vario 2 all fine now
Alright I have an HD2 Tmous,
My stock Rom was ver 2.13
I put Ver 2.07
HSPL will not install it gives me a Invalid SPL error
What do I need to do, The n00b page for this doesn't explain this problem
Also My radio in my car has bluetooth built in,
So I paired my phone up with it to stream my music off it,
it has 2 connections on my radio, phone connection and media connection
Once paired for the first time both are connected Media and phone.
Once car is turned off and back on it only connects to the phone
So I have to re pair the devices to get the media to connect
PLZ HELP!
thats because all the noob pages say you need 2.08, not 2.07
find rom 2.10.0 in 'test and stock roms' thread in tmous section, flash that, it 'should' change your spl to 2.08.0000 then you can use hspl1024
Thanks, do you know anything about the Bluetooth problem?
no, sorry, i only use basic bt functions, and they all work fine, so it's not a strong suit of mine.

Sounds like a bug in the BT stack in the stereo TBH. I've seen this before with some in car GPS units and the fix is to update it's firmware. If the stereo is the stock one for the car have a word with the local dealer and if it's a thrid party one have a look and the manufacturers website.
Cool! Thanks got it flash with 2.08 HSPL
There is an option under the bluetooth settings to connect both handsfree and audio at the same time, not sure right where it is at, had to do it for my stereo headset ..
If this is not checked it will default to the Handsfree only untill media is requested via hardware buttons, that is how it behaves on my headset, should be close to the same for the car stereo ...
hello, i hae mini s4 i9195.
yestarday i was update my firmware by kies.
again the lte4 option was disapper so i root my device and edit the persist.radio.lteon file.
now my fm radio is not work...i really need help beacuse i'm using the fm radio every day and allmost all day.
i have tune in but still i prefere the fm radio. thx.
that's my firmware
Sources conflict. Most say your device doesn't have a FM receiver. I know the I9505 doesn't and that's the worldwide model.
Xiia Live is a better choice in my opinion than Tune In, which is why I switched to the pro version when it was advertised on Amazon at a price of zero. Where I once had three different radio apps (TuneIn, iHeartRadio, DI.FM) Xiia allowed me to consolidate into one app all the stations I listen to, plus allowed me to add external radio streams such as Radio Rivendell.
