>>?? Installed??
Nope, iuf you are on about Radio Rom, this is the firmware that runs the phone, bluetooth and wireless sections.
Stream it
Try pointing IE at www.radiofeeds.co.uk/pda and streaming a station from there.
I have Windows media player and Real player installed on my K-Jam. Just wondering is it possible to play radio stations via the internet?

I'm not too sure what you mean there, but you can listen to internet radio from the UK at www.radiofeeds.co.uk/pda
Thanks for the replies, working nicely on both Wifi and GPRS.
well i meant that i want to listen to Internet Radio stations and DAB Stations that broadcast on the net on my MDA? is that possible?
check out www.orb.com as you can not only listen to radio but also watch TV. If you hook your webcam and sky up to your pc at home you can watch both from anywhere in the world and it's free.

Yes. You might need to install additional players such as RealOne and TCPMP, depending on the stream format.
DAB stations are included in the site mentioned.

I wish that were true. As of 31 March,2006 UK/Irish radio stations can no longer stream their broadcasts outside the UK without having to pay the PPL more money.
What's the point of having internet streaming when it's only in the UK.
What we need is someone to run a nice proxy for these streams (wink wink, nudge nudge) for the entire world to access.
I personally listen to MMM (TripleM) out of Austraila with WMPlayer on my MDA.

There are four stations that stream, Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, and
Adelaide.
Otherwise I use MortPlayer to listen to Shoutcast streams.

Thanks for the information. But I would like to listen to my local FM channels. Without streaming them... any suggestions for that?
It's not possible, as there's no FM receiver hardware in the Wizard...
OIC
Oh ok... probably have to look for and external handsfree with an FM radio... pity... got everything... but...
you could always buy something like this and use a jack adaptor on the mda http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Stereo-Earpho...37QQihZ016QQcategoryZ3274QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
You can certainly do it with BBC radio stations which include local like merseyside, manchester, leeds etc. Use Real Player.

Hi @ all
I have a problem with the Kinoma FreePlayer.
I will use it to listen to the shoutcast radio stations.
But on my HTC HD2 it doesnt work correctly.
When i choose a radio station for example TechnoBase.FM, it always says
Buffering... but it doesnt happen anything.
Sometimes it happen something than it says "Unsupported MIME"
But it never plays the music.
I have a fast 3g HDPA network here.
Youtube work correctly.
with Wlan shoutcast work correctly too.
I dont know what i should do.
oooh..
I'v the same problem..
Shoutcast works great by using WIFI
but when i use 3G it stuck on buffering.
i use Orange CDMA israel Network..
the youtube and other services work perfect.
someone may know what is the problem?
maybe the Kinoma still not fully spported HD2?
there's alternative way to play Shoutcast radio stream on HD2
go to Shoutcast.com
make for ur self a Playlist .. move the playlist to ur HD2
and open it with TCPMP.. it work great on HD2
