I'm lookin to take screenshots off my Mini S to write a review of the software and the phone for my friends.
Is there a program (preferably free) that can do this?
Thanks
Jaxx
You can try this:
Try too: GetPDAscreen.exe
You can search at google; it is freeware and works fine.
You can also use the windows mobile powertoys... They are somewhere on ms dot com for download...

I had problems with this and older version. No .jpg images, however, thehy are downloaded. Can you verify this?
Netfront
I managed to get Netfront working on my jasjar (after following the instructions from another forum). It does not work when my connection is wifi, but it does work with a 3g, gprs connection. You need first to open the standard explorer and connect to the internet (3g,gprs) and then close ie and open netfront. Works fine after that.
RSS Reader that actually aggregates?
I'm trying to find a reader that allows a 'river of news' style of usage ( http://www.reallysimplesyndication.com/riverOfNews )
i.e. It shows all the items from all feeds in one list in date order. Can anyone suggest one?
Firstly Java plugin for Wm5/PIE..is this my only choice, do you guys have it : http://www.nsicom.com/Default.aspx?tabid=138
Q: How come desktop version if free ( via SUN), and pocket pc is not ??
What about PIE/WM5 plugins for Macromedia and other internet browser tools. ? Is there a list of the usual suspect of WM5 /PIE plugins some where ?
thanks.
It works fine, but the only real application I would really need Java is a webmail using classes not included in this.
I already used jeode, same results.
It's here:
http://www.cs.unc.edu/~lindsey/7ds/notes/jeode/
Waiting for Netront 3.3, the full version should mount also a Java plugin.
It's still in beta on their website.
Thanks for the link, but I cant find any link to download the file, please advise.
Standard web browser plugins required are : java, adobe, macromedia.
I went to Net Front website, but there is no conformation that it works on WM5 or HTC Universal products.
If I'm not wrong, Jeode was an Insignia product (www.insignia.com) and now it's Esmertec.
You can buy it at handango:

Please read also customers' comments here:

About Netfront, search on this forum. It definitely works, you can download a trial version here:
http://nfppc.access.co.jp/english/about_v33.html
at the bottom of the page.
It's a trial, and Java isn't yet available, but it will be in the commercial version (it should be delivered soon).
have you seen this:
http://users.skynet.be/hofinger/GPS2Blue.html
works on my device.
That's nice, thanks. But have you tried Garmin Mobile PC, it looks great in shift vista side. Discussed here
No actually your solution is very interesting. Too bad the developer want's to link on his site, otherwise it would have been a great addition to a rom. I'll try to send him a message.
Hi
Can plz anyone send me a link for Webcam application for Herald. I couldn't find one without a Trial version...
Thanks
look into octrovideo for your device . http://video.octro.com (www.octro.com) download octro , install and run , change preferences (from 1 fps to say 15 fps) and away you go , now you have a hosted webcam solution for your wm device (FREE) . you can give out links to folks and they can see in almost realtime (couple of seconds delay) whats going on from your phone's camera.
Garmin no longer appears to support Mobile XT downloads, because it is discontinued.
Any suggestions on aviable download location?
Or, a good alternative off-line gps program for Windoes Mobile 6.5?
Ah, common .. type your subject line in google and you get relevant results
check for the results on some file sharing sites and it works for you
in turn you may directly search on your file sharing site of our choice..
tried to be concise - didnt want to explicitly give a link here - to avoid annoyances
hope that helps ..
