Is there any way to copy all contacts from motorola v3 to jasjar (have no time to copy 1by1 600 contacts!????
i connected motorola to pc via mobilephone tools and get contacts but i cant copy them to outlook or something else!!
any ideas!?
tnx
not the answer but i need help to. how do i move my contacts from my qtek 9100 > qtek 9000 and my calender?
Check you have the latest version of the 'Mobile Phone Tools' package. The version I had (was for a V600, and was a legal registered copy) would automatically update off the web. After a few updates and reboots, my contacts would automatically synchronise with outlook (which you should have received a copy with with your universal).

Can anyone tell me where my ActiveSync has gone since upgrading my ROM to Big Storage?
I want to be able to sync over bluetooth with ActiveSync but I cant find the shortcut to it on my magician!
I have an empty Activesync folder in my windows directory.
The strange part is that all my contacts and mail and stuff have all synched with my magician when I connected via USB to my PC, activesync synched it all?
CONFUSED! Please help.
I noticed the same thing too when I was trying to setup bluetooth sync
in windows folder there is a shortcut called async.lnk and a file called async.asy. The shorcut points to async.asy and if you click it, it will launch activesync.
I put async.link in the windows / start menu / programs folder and unchecked 'Hidden' in the link properties, and it appears in my programs menu now.
Hi all. In WM2003, I could select all contacts and transfer by bluetooth or ir. unfortunately, in WM2005, this is not the case. I know in Tofclock's new release (version 3) this problem has been solved. I would want to upgrade to this release, however, I would want a prog that allows me to select all contacts and transfer to another Hima before the upgrade. Thanx in anticipation
there is a thread about select all have you tried to programs liked to in that thread?
i have just downgraded from WM6 to WM2003SE (o2 XDA offical rom 1.40 for AUS) and i cannot sync the device.
i have completely set the device back to it's original state, ext rom, main rom, radio rom. it works fine.
i receive an error when i try to sync with my laptop.. (which it used to sync with when i put WM6 on the device).
the error is - cannot verify the version of activesync on your device, a program such as a firewall may be blocking a port activesync uses to connect to your device, you may need to upgrade to a more recent version or activesync
i have removed activesync, deleted all the registry entries, folders and files relating to activesync that i could find. reinstalled activesync, still no luck.
-> i can get the device to sync with my desktop without any problems (i never used the desktop to sync to it when WM6 was installed)
however all my data is on the laptop.
Any ideas ?
what version of activsync are you using??
i think with WM2003SE an older version of activsync is required.
i'm using activesync 4.5 and it has worked before..
it's like the laptop still thinks it's WM6..
the PDA will sync on the desktop (which i don't use) but won't sync on the laptop which has all my data.
Does anybody know what the value of the registry entry under
HKLM/software/microsoft/windows CE services/version should be ??
All,
I have the following question:
Is it posible to copy text messages to a specific folder in pocket outlook? IE: When a text message arrives (or is sent), this message is automatically copied to Outlook\SMS\Inbox (or Outlook\SMS\Sent) and sync this back to my exchange mailbox. This all has to be done on my PDA itself, since I never connect my phone to my PC.
I'm using an Asus P750 with the official Asus WWE WM6.1 ROM.
Does anyone knows a program to do this or is anyone willing to write a progam for this?
Regards,
Johan
Hello,
What program I can use to transfer, contacts, SMS, notes and scheduler from Nokia C6 to HTC HD running Android TyphooN CM7 v2.4?
As it seems the Nokia C6-00 does not have the usual Mail for Exchange interface.
Is there a way without using outlook or gmail, which can transfer only contacts as I know?
What is the easiest and fastest way?
Thank you in advance.
Finally i have use this way for e-mails:
For contacts go to settings>>Connectivity>>data transfer>>Sync
Under Options either set up a new sync profile or edit the exsisting one.
Select only contacts (calendar just won't sync with Google.)
Sync Profile Name: anything you want
Server Version: 1.2
Server ID: Google (capital G)
Data bearer: Internet
Network Connection: your connection depending on wifi or carrier
Host address: https:/m.google.com/syncml
Port:80
User Name: [email protected]
Password: (yours)
Allow sync requests: Whatever you want (I put Ask first, for wifi only)
Network Username: None
Network Password: (leave it)
Under Contacts
Contacts database: contacts (must be lowercase)
and this to move all SMS :

Nokia Ovi to Android SMS convert utility
Description
Nokia2AndroidSMS is a small application that allows you to convert SMS messages from Nokia Ovi datafiles into an xml file supported by SMS Backup & Restore Android application.
Process for transferring SMS messages to your new Android Phone is the following.
Nokia phone side:
Install Nokia OVI, (You don’t need the OVI account!)
synchronize messages from your phone with OVI
Disconnect your Nokia Phone and close the Nokia OVI application. WATCH OUT. Noia OVI likes to minimize to system tray please be sure you really closed the application
Conversion:
Download Nokia2AndroidSMS and extract it to any directory.
Run Nokia2AndroidSMS.exe
The application should automatically find all datastores created by Nokia OVI and automatically select the 1st one.
If it should fail to detect datastores you’ll have to find it by yourself, you can either drag and drop datastore file from Windows Explorer onto the Nokia2AndroidSMS window or use the Open button to find it.
You can change the datastore in the 1st selection list if there is more than one
If you have more than one phone in the datastore than you can select for which you’d like to export the messages, they are listed by their IMEI number.
Press Convert button and you should get an xml file in the same folder you extracted Nokia2AndroidSMS to
WATCH OUT: If you get: “Failed to load DLL library. System error number was 126.“ Antivirus probably prevented proper extraction of archive, so you need to extract it again and/or disable antivirus when extracting. The most problematic AV software found was Bitdefender.
Android:
Install SMS Backup & Restore
Connect the phone onto the PC (You MUST select Disk drive as connection type)
Copy the xml file into the SMSBackupRestore Folder on the phone, create it if it’s not already there
Run SMS Backup & Restore and import messages.
P.S.
Using the first method you can transfer and SMS to Google messages folder.
