Not sure of the correct registry entries but, you can download easytweak. it allows a few times of running before buying. It has an option to disable types of inputs, maybe by disabling it and reenabling it will bring it back.

I only get the message unable to read the chosen method, when trying to activate Block Recognizer. The .cab file just activates the choice in the drop down menu.
The previous cab works fine only on MDA-Vario from Czech T-Mobile (CSY ROM), because of different name of the dll. I've attached cab that should work for WWE ROMs..

It's easy. Search for a file named msim*.dll in the \Windows folder. WWE ROMS have the this file msim.dll, czech is msimcs.dll. Instal my cab and change the name of dll file in the following registry keys:

enable letter recognizer

I'm trying to follow the instructions for enabling the letter recognizer on my Swedish Qtek 9100.
I have installed the "enableRecognizersWWE.CAB", but that only enabled the menu choise. I still can't use letter recognition.
How do I change registry settings? I can't find any regedit app?
To what name do I change the settings?
I have two files with name starting with msim:
msimsw.dll and msimsw.96.dll
Will that enable it or only adapt letter recognition for swedish characters?

For registry editing you can use e.g. PHM Regitry Editor.
What you have to change is described above.
Values of the mentioned registry keys shlould be "msimsw.dll"

it is in nk.nbf. And at first you should decrypt NBF to NBA

thanks a lot for the help. At least, after 3 hours of downloading, I've succeded into overwriting the original files with the italian version and everything works fine. I've attached the two files in the italian, english, spanish and portuguese versions. If someone has these files for more languages is welcome to add them, because it's not so easy to find them on the internet.. :lol:

If you hardreset your device the files will default again.
If you overwrite the file and want to restore the default just delete the modified file and soft reset. The original ROM file will be restored.

I don't know if it would be legal or not.. It could because you can download the ROM files from many sites ( Asus site for example ), but I don't know if it's legal to decompress them..
This is a very usefull software for PPC phone. The writer issued a new edition just now.
Now, CeleDial utility, the best dialing helper for PPC Phone, support English UI without fully support (no English help, also).
To support other languages, e.g. French, you need an extrenal mapping table for your French Name. Just do that to enable External Mapping Table:
1. Create a Unicode text file named CeleDial.txt.
2. Fill the French Characters to Alpha Characters mapping line by line:
a àâä
e éèêê
......
and so on.
3. Put this text file into CeleDial's Folder (e.g. \Program Files\CeleDial\CeleDial.txt)
4. Reboot your device to enable the external mapping table.
5. Send your mapping table to me, if possible

my problem is that when using on HTC Touch then Celedial overwrites graphically the backspace button so I cannot delete entered numbers.

Hi, i´m translating WM6.1 to Spanish, and to get full translation i have read there´s needed to get mxip_lang.vol and wince.nls spanish version.
For WM6 it can be dumped from Emulator Image, but there´s no image for WM6.1 still. Will work the WM6 files for WM6.1?, can i edit this files to translate them with any tool?
There are another files within the .mui´s and registry i have to edit to get a full translation?.

I´m trying to translate WM6.1 for Trinity, the mui´s is not a problem, i got it´s from others devices ROMs, but the problems comes when i translate programs files and startup folders in initflashfiles.dat.

With Sktools you can export metabases mxip_lang.vol into .xml files . Also AKtools has import function. But I don't understand how it is work. I tried insert some new rows in metabase but sktools say: 0 records imported. May be anybody know how to import new record in metabase with sktools? Please, help me!

Then I have put DevPrepSP.exe utility ( with its configuration .xml file) and my .txt file in \Storage\MUI\ folder on my Qtek8310. I have started the DevPrepSP.exe and have added records in to mxip_lang.vol. It has worked!!!
My txt file has such format of records:

Ive open the cab and delete all languages except spanish, i save the cab, install it and i have the app in spanish, but if i convert it to ext package and i cook it in the rom the language i get is english.

In OS kitchen there is an option to import a new ext package, just import the complete cab and after that you'll find the ext pkg with all languages in your kitchen, so now you can delete the other languages and edit the ext pkg.
If this isn't working you can always rename the Spanish into English,

I've never used g-alarm, but when you've made the ext's, is there an english language file present that you delete? Or is english the default language, and other language resource files are added to the cab? Anyway, it sounds like you're missing a registry key in your app.reg file for the language. Check in HKCU (or HKLM)\software\galarm (or the name of the developer) after you've installed the cab and get the reg key. Or, check in the program folder and see if there are any setup files that have the language setting, and cook it into your rom (sometimes those files hide in windows or application data as well). If the file is going directly into \windows in your ext, it's possible that g-alarm doesn't like the fact that it's read-only, so you'll need to get a non-read-only copy into your \windows folder. Anyway, I'm just guessing. You could always figure out how to make the package using kheb 1.1.

there are many languages .txt
What i do is open cab with cabmanager delete all except spanish i install it from the cab and installs in spanish.
with that cab i made the ext package and cook it in the rom and the language that apears is English.
Ive tried to rename spanish to english.txt and if i install it from de cab the language i get is spanish. i made again the ext package and cook it and i get english language.
I think the same as you may be some hidden file or something like that im gonna try the cab you post and try to find that file.
