Chinese input software can't work after flash to Eng ROM

I flashed my CHT9000 to Eng ROM (1.23.707.1). But both PenPower (CE-Star Suite) & Monster SIP can't properly. Even the software was installed, but I can't pick from the input item.
Does anyone know that if this is the version of WM5?

Are you sure? Are they just not listed in the keyboard menu? I have the Dopod English ROM on a CHT9000 and it works fine with CE-Star. You need to do a hard reset before you flash it, and re-install them after you flash. Please provide us with more details so we can help.

I have dopod rom on O2 Xda Trion. i have monster chinese V5 and monster SIPs and they work without problem.

I do know that I need to re-install the software after flash the ROM.
I did all the combination:
Monster Chinese / Monster SIP
CE-Star / PenPower
CE-Star / Monster SIP
The software can install properly and showed on the input colume. But you just can't pick it from there. I don't know why???

for those who got the dopod chinese version and flashed it to the dopod english version, how do you chnage the settings so that the qwerty keyboard works properly?
currently my kets are not appearing as what they should be when i press them.

Monster Chinese / SIP still don't work on my device but CE-Star latest version 2.8 R2 can work properly.
Concerning the keyboard, try this.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Oem\Qwerty
Default value for Eng ROM is 20409
Chinese ROM is 20404
Change the DWORD value to 132100 instead of 132105.

No phone keyboard, but some Chinese characters

I've bought my new TD2 from Hong Kong last weekend. Though it has English Windows + WWE ROM (I don't know what is needed for keyboard exactly), but still in keyboard it shows some chinese characters.
Qwerty keyboard is in English, but on tahat on the left corner (just above the up arrow mark), there is some Chinese symbol. When I press that, a whole new qwerty size keyboard opens up, but with all Chinese characters.
Also, when in the middle I press up arrow to see menu, then following options are shown:
1) Touch Input Settings
2) ZhuYin - no option for phone keyboard
3) Full QWERTY
4) Letter Recognizer
5) Other input Methods
As I do not know Chinese, I could not figure out anything from that. As there are few Chinese characters here only, so actually it doesn't cause any problem to be, but sometimes they seem annoying as I can't understand.
My phone details are:
ROM version 1.40.831.5 (49069) WWE
Radio version: 3.44.25.27
This is what I got from HTC as I've not changed ROM/radio.
Any suggestions are appreciated.

If you don't like chinese charactors, You may flash a real wwe rom.

Pls advice what so you mean by real WWE ROM...Is my current ROM, which came pre installed on my phone, not a real one...
Actually I do not want to change ROM for my phone at this moment..

Would you do me a favor? I would like to try your rom, could you dump it and share? My current rom is TaiWan CHT rom.
As far as I know, there are 4 version of WWE, World Wide Edition, what I mean real is the first two:
WWE
Euro WWE
Asia WWE
HK WWE
But more exactly, I should say none-chinese version instead of "real WWE", because the 4 are all real ones from HTC = =

ANY SPECS
so are the any specs on the ram usage or available rom for version? am downloading as i type and am curious to try. i am getting weird freezing on one of the cooked roms i am using, but not sure if it's the radio that i flashed or the rom itself.

I flashed my HD2 with the Arabic ROM 1.66, when I install the arabiser, after several restarts the device shows 2 messages: 'Your trial period has expired' and 'This programm is not for the range of your device'. Following this the device is stuck in full Arabic and the instructions as per the HTC website to enable 'English with Arabic enabled' would not work as the multilingual support shows one page with request to enter email adress for registration in mobitidiv, after enterig email the internet browser opens and I get redirected into this software page.
Any idea why ?

That's very weird. Have you tried hard resetting your device, or re-flashing it?

This happened because your device is not GCC or Egypt region. It will not work for you. Try flashing the WWE rom then just install TSD's arabic files.. Good luck

two options, either hspl or use gold card

HSPL
i have the old blackstone file HSPLWrapper_Blackstone_156OliNex
it didn't work, gave me another error because it is not for HD2
Do you have HSPL that works for HD2? i searched and couldn't find.

Where did you download this rom, i tried on HTC official page with my phone's serial number and it still tells me ''this software is not suitable for your device'' or something like that. I'm from Croatia so i should be able to download WWE East Europe rom version??

Why can I not finde it in the official HTC page?

this ROM is OK, with new Radio version. Warm recommended, but I use this only for pre-flashing, because this bring me clean base for custom ROM.

Sorry, I have not use our letters, because I dont need them, anyway this letters "Ć,Č,Đ" make extra charge by sending SMS.

Marky55 in case you or anyone else didnt find it: time format can be set in Settings > System > Regional Settings > Time (tab) and set Time Style to HH:mm:ss

Changing from .5 to .38

Hello.
I have decided to change my official ROM from version
2.73.405.5 to 2.73.405.38 as i found out that the later version is used
in Heros bought in Greece and i got mine in Italy (i live in greece).
I tried to run the .38 RUU but i got the "wrong cliend ID" error.
I even rooted my phone but i always get the same error.
Any possible solutions?

Try the goldcard method mentioned in my sig.

As far as I know you will have to download it from its origin website. That's were the record belongs to. Otherwise you could try a custom rom since you are rooted.
I don't know though if can find somebody having a Greek Hero and use his product id, download it and install it. I am not sure if it will still allow you installing it.

The ROM must only contain these languages. You will need to source a different one.

I don't think so, how is it possible that both .5 and .38 contain only English and Italian?
Since most European users use the same firmware files there must be a way connected
to Phones S/N or IMEI that the software uses to select available locales.
