Does anyone know how to change the default address that is coded to the internet explorer button on the JasJar? It goes to clubimate.com and there is no place to change it. Perhaps registry? If so where?

i have two i-mate ppc + i-mate jam, while i'm using i-mate jam and clicked on "Start" then "Program" or "Settings" i heard the sound seems not complete. there is a diffrence between i-mate ppc and i-mate jam sound :?:

I usually replace my "Hwandsw.wav" after a harreset to something more pleasant and less jarring to everyone around me (and also to make sure my i-Mate doesn't sound like all the other Pocket PCs in the office )

to every body who had a problem with "Hwandsw.wav" i have edited the wav file so it should now sound normal like in XDAII
i had the same problem, it is very small issue but still it was hitting on my nerve every time i use my JAM.

Not sure what happened with my last post. Seems to have disapeared.
Anyway, can anyone tell me how to load the default Phone Dialer? My Dopod keeps loading the T-Mobile dialer. This is a very ugly dialer.

Have a little visit to my site. Take a copy of the PSK installer, find a dialler skin you like and copy it to your device. Tap on it using your file explorer and you'll have that dialler immediately available.

I wish if some one can develop a program to auto redial a dialed number in case its busy.. R U THE GUY I may be looking for..!!!

Apologies if this is a dumb question, but how do you get the deault dialing skin back? I tried the default.psk in the windows directory, but it gave me a different dialing skin again!

I was messing with the beta of the mozilla web browser the other day (it is on the ftp site, but I wouldn't bother with it yet!) and I noticed that it let you use the volume slider to scroll the page like a scroll wheel.
Sadly in the normal apps like IE and email it just changes the volume.
Does anyone know if there is any way to make the slider act as a scroll wheel in these apps? It is a standard thing on many pocket pcs and would be wonderful if you could use it whilst reading emails.

Yeah that would be really useful for email and webbrowsing (eg. Avantgo). Anybody know how? Might be a registry hack.
Yes there is a volume slider re-mapper. I use it on my Blue Angel. Got it off a thread on one of the forums here. Keep searching

I just noticed that starting from 1.11 ROM it allows to remap up-down volume buttons for any purpose how great!

PHM Task Manager doesn't seem to kill the processes in order to uninstall AddHotkeys.exe....any suggestions?
You have to use activesync "explore" feature to change the extension to something else (eg. addhotkeys.ex1). Then, soft reset, and it will say that it can't be run. Then delete it!

I just upgraded to the latest official rom.
Before the Extended Rom Setup I had a "Wireless Today Plugin" that is gone after the ext rom setup...
Is there a way to have this plugin back without having to hard reset?

Well, dowload this file, unzip it then execute the reg from PDA. The wireless plugin reappears in your today plugin list...
Don't worry if you can't find it in your today screen, since i've edited the reg file to be added but disabled. Just tick it on your today option dialog

I have new imate rom installed.
the reg file doesnt work for me. I have found a dll:
netmui.dll.0409.mui
in the windows dir.
maybe, because of its weird namee, the reg file doesnt work. I dont want to rename the file and maybe stop some other services or so..
cannot copy netmui.dll either to windows dir.. it says it already exists...

I have also tried this but i won't work. I insert the .reg file I could see it in my registry. I can also put it on on my today screen but i can't see it on my today screen.

The Registry "Hack" doesn´t work on my QTEK 9000.
The Wireless Element itself is offered in the Today Element Menue but when I enable it, it doesn´t appear on the Today screen
