Now before you all reply saying this is in the VT_???? cab in extended roml, i know that, but i do not want all the other stuff in there like the phone pad skin and the video talk button i only want the smartdialer prog.

sorted now, thanks to Mwilner, i've managed to modify his smartdialer for himalaya to work on the uni.

Hello All,
Not sure what happened with my last post. Seems to have disapeared.
Anyway, can anyone tell me how to load the default Phone Dialer? My Dopod keeps loading the T-Mobile dialer. This is a very ugly dialer.

Have a little visit to my site. Take a copy of the PSK installer, find a dialler skin you like and copy it to your device. Tap on it using your file explorer and you'll have that dialler immediately available.

I have been using ur phone skins for a while.. its grt especially those on PF are very good.
I wish if some one can develop a program to auto redial a dialed number in case its busy.. R U THE GUY I may be looking for..!!!
DO u know of any such program.. that would be a real nice application specially using the phone while driving...

Thanks for the commets, but nope I don't develop programs (yet!) I've not heard of an auto-redialer but that doesn't mean that one does not exist.

Apologies if this is a dumb question, but how do you get the deault dialing skin back? I tried the default.psk in the windows directory, but it gave me a different dialing skin again!

I believe everyone know what does the O2 phone plus can do. It allow you to Edit the number before dial.
I have try to install it on the Hermes, but it doesn't seem to do anything.
I have attached the phoneplus CAB file with this thread. Is there anyone who can hack this CAB and let all of the HTC users to use this feature?

That is the wrong version you need this one!

Thanks and your today screen looks great too. I am using SPB pocket plus to do the similiar layout.
But O2 plus and O2 phone plus is not really the same. O2 phone plus is simaliar to the Smartdialing that we have on HTC. The only thing which made it even better is that you can click on the number and edit it, like putting prefix.
I know software like MyPrefix could do similiar things but the O2 phone plus make things alot simply.

Any update on this cab? Can you get it working with WM6 for Hermes?
Does anybody know about any aplication to record a macro (a sequence of actions) directly in PPC? I know some macro recorders but in connection with PC. The only one a found, Vito MacroRecorder, doesn't work properly in my Artemis. Could anybody work on this? Any suggestion?

After having no response, I tried to make some changes in .ini file. And I have got a modification thats makes Vito MacroRecorder work correctly in my HTC P3300.

I think "SK Schema" can do this, I have tried to figure it out but could't get my head around it. I wanted to make a script to update my rss feeds while I sleep. I was also told mortscript could do it, but how? I don't know.

Hi carmelm, if you still want to use a program like this, please pay attention to the new program Mobile Macros (http://artelplus.com/macros.php).
I can help you get it for free in case it just will not work on your device, and with your help we would have eliminated the problem.
Not able to find this littel fella, not in HTCICON.dll not in shellres.dll Anyone know where its hiding? The one in HTCICON.dll does not look like the one I am using out of the box so changing that wount help me. If you got a good tip or a workaround for changing the Today icon on start meny I would be wery intrested to hear about it, cant complete my icon set before I find this last fella.
Using a Tytn II running WM6.1 if thats needed info for some reason.
Edit: I noticed that its the same used in Settings->Personal Today (obiouse) so going to dig from there. If anyone finds this before me please letme know.
Edit2: I found out howto. Case closed (consider this not cheating as I found out on my own )

Hi guys i know that iphone has a application on their phone called Audio recognition.
The way this works is that if you hear a song you like, you select a particular software in the iphone and what it does is that it records the first 5 seconds of the song and it sends that sample to some database and then reports back to you with the name of the song and who sings it, now i know i have been in a situation where i have heard a song and liked it but cant remember or know the name of it.
Is their away to implement this into a HTC diamond, like has someone tried making this happen?

Hopefully someone will make one to work properly on the windows mobile operating system, anyone know where i can get this from as the one mentioned above works but isnt 100% visible on the screen
Also using MusicID, and when I demoed it a year ago to my friends they were astonished. I also find it better than iPhone app. MusicID needs VGA support, which it lacks as of now, so it fits better our Diamond phones.
surely it cant be that hard to create, like if people on here can create custom ROM's then surely someone can have a crack at this? we got any takers?

You won't be seeing it in the program list. You have to start it using Explorer.

this is awsome, works like a charm, thanks for that, but i have another idea if anyone can make it possible i would like to have another feature in this application. it would be great if the app can make a tag from the radio and record a sample without checking the ID, later time you can check ID when you are conected to wifi or activesync, this could save some money on data connection. but it is only my sugestion, thanks anyway.

I've got an icon right at the top of my list. It installed and placed it in the usual Programs menu and TF. Shouldn't be any need to make a shortcut?
