some1 plse send me the extendedromviewer.cab for MAGICIAN.. the extended tools for xdaII wont work on my magician.. dont know y..tnx

i understand you right? you wan't to have a look in your extented rom?
i thing there is no cab file who can do this. the only way i know is to make a hardreset, and after you have setup the touchpad and so on the magican begins to count down from 3 and then want to install the soft out of the ext. rom. in this moment you have to make a softreset. when the magican ist up again you have read permisson to the extented rom and must install the cab's in it by hand....... search in the forum for more details
when you want to juse the place for your own things, you shoud have a look to the actual posts from "anansky"

How do I Re-installing WM5 on my Atom exec

hello guys,
im kinda frustrating here..
my atom exec runs not smoothly lately..i've tried to un-install programs from my device but still its doesnt run smoothly like before..
i'm planning to re-install my WM5 and install a new one on my device, can i do that with simple steps like any other Desktop computer usually have??
one more thing, i have a thought about what causing my problem..there's a file name MN1Ril.txt in my device's root and i noticed that it kept eating up my internal memory slowly..now, its size is 52mb and keep getting bigger everytime i see it..
do u guys know what it is? i try to remove it but everytime i try to remove it, it said that it has a sharing violation..i dont know what that means..
please help me..

What does that mean, if you're refering to the flash procedure, just connect to A/S and execute the DSUU of your choice, or depending on your bootloader put the device into bootloader mode then flash.

A 52MB txt file? are you sure? if you put your Atom Exec into bootloader mode (camera+reset) what is the version..eg. MN1? or MN2?

yes, it has size over 52mb..its extention is .txt..it is a virus or something? i try to delete it but i cant do it coz it said sharing violation..
i want to re-install my WM5, im a newbie and i really dont know any procedures like u said..
i have un-install all of the programs in my device, and i try to delete it in safe mode but still cant do it..
is it a virus or something coz last time i saw it, its size is 52mb from 49mb..
i want to post a screenshot but i dont have a program that can do a screenshot on my device..
perhaps its better if i re-install my WM5, dont you think so?

Since you are a newbie, I suggest you read the XDA Atom wiki. It will answer most of your questions.

Ipaq hx2410 rom dump

Hi everybody,
Im new in this forum, i need some help, i was updating my ipaq hx2410 of hx2000 series and at 50% the computer crash, "blue screen of the dead" and now i cant start my ipaq, its frozen at boot screen, ive already try to search at web and i discovered that has a way to recover, i know that is so hard but a i have to try,.... recovering by the sd memory with a flash rom dump, but here 's the question, where can i find a good room dump for my model?, can be any language i just wanna bring him "my ipaq" back to life, or with anyone knows how to recover my ipaq with other metod im here to listen.... but please help me

HELP with Diamond TF3D

Okay, I put the cad file on my phone and then installed it. It wouldn't work so I deleted the tweak.xml. Now it works but when I click the tweaks tab nothing shows up. Could somebody help me fix this?
Rom version 1.10.661.41 if that helps... sry just got it today and don't really get all of this yet

You can't expect an answer within the hour, man You are using a Diamond? What kind of cab did you install? If you have a diamond, you have TF3D (also known as Manila) preinstalled and you're not supposed to install anything...

so what where you trying to do? and can you post the link of the page that has the cab file you loaded?
we have to know more in detail you just cant say. i installed something on my car and now it wont start.

It's already a long time ago since i needed a Dutch ROM for the HP 6xx series, i can't ind this anywhere but now i finally have a Dutch device.
so now i heard something about ROM Dumping, i also understood that this has something to do with pdocread.
but as the rookie ( maybe even ''noob'' ) that i am, i want to ask the following question, how do i dump my dutch rom, what programs do i have to use or that, and is installing a Dutch rom the same thing as flashing it to your device? or do i have to convert files to .dio format?
all help is welcome!

i got the 614 in every language available right now, so if you do me the favour for guiding me through this dumping, ill upload all the ROMS of any language you want, i got almost every language.

ok, i used DUMP TOOLS now and in the ''manual''of dump tools
it says i have to copy dump_gene_os_extrom.exe
to my device, i did this.
it also said that i needed a minimum of 70MB.
after like 5 minutes the device copied data to the storage card
im using a 1 gb micro SD of kingston.
now, it already copied 716mb on the SD card and growing.
i cant imagine a rom any bigger then like 120MB.
i tried alot of things so could someone please help me?
im willing to donate if anybody wants money for their time, no problem.

you are not using the correct dump tool, there is specific dump tool for 61x here. You need to connect to computer with activesync to use it

Thank you very much for this, it really helped me, i retreived the following files now from my device :
- diskimage_Ver.nb0
- part2.nb0.payload
- part2.nb0.payload.part1
- part02.raw
the files standing above, are the files that where retreived from my Dutch hp 614, now i want this rom, on my other 614 that ain't Dutch.
i already tried to rename the diskimage_Ver.nb0 to > flash.dio, then flashed that file into my 614, after that whas done it got stuck at the startup screen.
so is anybody prepared to help me out and tell me how i can get it to work.
P.S. for the ones that are going to link me to the thread where someone links to a Dutch ROM, that one doesnt work, it doesnt go any further then the start up screen.
if there's people that want money for their help thats absolutely no problem.
i just want my pda restored and dutch.
