Alternative Dial Software / Voice Commander with normal Headset?

Hi Folks,
i'm owner of an XDA Trion, since last month.
So far im very glad with this device, but i have a few questsion about modifikations.
1)
Is there an alternative Dial software? I don't really like this Built in Software for making phone calls. In my opinion it is very slow and unhandy.
2)
I installed the MS Voice Commander. So far i like this programm, but how do i get it work with the std. USB-Headset of the xda? If i hold the button, the device starts the standard application for voice commands, which is not very helpfull...
So far, thanks for any hints.
Greetings
LordK

Any Hints?

did you try EZDial?
I've just made a new app to allow you to use the headset button to launch any app. I'm going to integrate it into a few other hacks and will try to release soon.

BT Headset Audio Steaming Help required

I'm not sure if I'm being a bit dumb here but I need some help. I've managed to get my Jabra 250v working with voice comands on my SPV M700 and all is fine.
What I'd now like to do is to re-direct the audio from TomTom to the headset but NOT lose the option of having voice command and voice speed dialing for the phone side of things. I've just read the article in the link below:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=281977
Could somone please explaing to me if I can do what I want to do as I can't really make head nor tail of it in the article and I'm not that techy really.
Is it possible?
Is the answer in the info in the link I read and I missed it?
Could some one please spell it out in a step by step process for me (all idiot proof if possible)?
Thanks in advance
JUST SORTED IT! Using the files from here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=289720&highlight=bt+audio+stream
Only problem is, as the article suggest it disables the voice commands!! I can live with this as I only want to stean the TOMTOM voice when using the satnav while walking or on my bike. What I had in mind was a a couple of icons, one to make the registry changes for the BT Audio streaming and the other icon to toggle back (ie change the registry back to voice comand via the BT headset). Can anyone tell me if this is possible? can it be written on a PC and then copied to the Trinity so that it runs? Will reg files run the same on a PDA and they do on a PC?
Thanks in advance

For MSVC, it should work out of the box. For others, I got it working under my rom since V2 by replacing some dll from HD.
Well, you pair a bluetooth headset, install MS Voice Command (I have version 1.6.19971). Then you restart, go to voice command and enable it (if not already enabled!), check what and how you want the program to behave.
You can select a hard button on the phone (left or right) to engage the program.
Then, when you press the activate/voice/answer button on your headset the voice dial turns on. There you can either DIAL a number by saying the number, or, CALL a person in your phone book by saying that name.
Have fun!
michaelthemage, you're saying that if you bind MSVC to a random HW button, the headset button on the BT headset will start MSVC?
Also, I've tried MSVC myself, although I liked the basic functionality (it's neat!), it drained my battery like crazy (4x normal discharge) and it lacks customizable functionality (e.g. creating a new voice command and linking it to an application.)

HTC TP2 - voice dial over BT to HF in the ear ???

Hello, I would like to ask if it is possible to TP2 with HTC and WM6.5 ROM 1.86.401 somehow break in voice dialing via BT in the ear (Nokia BH-105). I've been looking everywhere on the net and forums, but I really did not find anything while I think it's pretty useful thing that works for most MT to BT, so the WM would probably also not be a problem. ... maybe ...
Thanks much
if i understand what your asking, you want a program called Voice command. This will allow you to use your BT to dial contacts & any phone # plus many other things. here is a link to the cab file thanks to "dotcompt"

Yes, you understand me well. The program is good but I could not find any commands. When I say "help" so HTC says only some commands. Do you know where I can find others? Thanks
To enable voice commands for Media Player, you must enable a setting found in Settings->Personal->Voice Command (make sure there is an X next to 'Media').

I think the voice commander application from original HTC Diamond already has.
All you need just say
"what time is it" and it will give you the correct time CMIIW
I don't know if it work with BT headset, but it work for me with original headset
I have in my HTC Diamond one program which is VoiceHurtigNummer
Cyberon Voice Speed Dial
Version 1.2 Build 080227
Cyberon Corporation
but does not allow me to configure anything but numbers and programs, do you have any idea if i can update it or download another better that works with extra features, like the Time?
I think cyberon voice commander is already built in on the original ROM of TD, but I don't know if the ROM different in every country.
about a year ago, I have a program called microsoft voice command.. It's similiar to cyberon voice commander, but I lost the linked..
it have all the cyberon voice commander function + the function to speak up the caller name on phone call..
Unfortunately that program also lost when I hard Reset my device, and I don't have the .cab file
maybe if you find microsoft voice command, you can give me the link
I found the Microsoft Voice Command that you're looking for.
Because i'm new I can't post a outside link.
