Hello,
after i have installed unlock ext. Rom i reboot the pda, and also okay.
I install something other tools. I have done a second hardeware reset.
And now my Pda is not coming up.
What can i do ????

I have followed the below step to upgrade my ROM directly to BigStorage.
I am using the ftp://forum.xda-developers.com/Magician/BigStorage_ROMs/WWE_1.12.rar
1. backup the ROM to SD
2. ntwr the WWE_1.12.rar to SD
3. Callup Bootloader and wait fro 100%
After that.....does anyone can tell me what should I do.
I have tried to soft-reset the JAM with SD....I prompt for "Press On/Off button to Flash" again.
I have tried to soft-reset the JAM without SD and with USB..... it prompt for "USB"
I have tried to soft-reset the JAM without SD and with Serial..... it prompt for "Serial"
Pleaes let me know...or should I do a hard-reset?
But please let me knwo how to "hard-reset"

Did you get the Checksum failed message? If you did, just do a hard reset (remove the SD first). You can do a hard reset by pressing the Power button while pressing the Soft Reset.
If you didn't ge the Checksum error and you're getting the "Press Power Button to Flash" it means that the ROM was not written properly.
You probably have a corrupt ROM on the SD. Try copying the ROM to the SD again.

You are right. I have "ADDED" the 416 bytes to the ROM rather than replace it..
Now I am working fine except the O2 connect.
I have installed the O2 connect but while i run it. It prompt the O2 connect is only for O2 device.....
But..mine is exactly a O2 mini. Any idea?

What is your splashscreen, is it still O2? I think as you flash your O2 using ROM from manufacturer, your O2 mini is now not an exactly O2 mini
I have just installed SPB Clone correct on my Vario. Now this program did a soft-reset and the Vario just hang on de first bootscreen. (The one with the soft-/firmware version on it.)
SPB Clone has installed a program that would startup at first program while booting. My Vario don't seem to like that.
Is there a way to remove this program/problem without a Hard-reset. I don't like to lose my data.
I had the same problem..
you can only erase all data by installin the rom on top.
boot in USB mode, Hold the camera button and the reset pin and it will start in tree color mode, USB
Than install a rom from the computer... about 10 min.

Do you have more information about that, what it does and how it works.
1) Fist you will have to find a rom update or corrent version of your phone.
I don't know what you have K-Jam or qtek 9100..
K-jam rom you can find at the support site, club i-mate

2) Boot the phone in USB Mode: Hold camera batton on the side and with the pen into the reset hole. USB screen will come up.
3) plug USB cable into computer, and run downloaded software.
10 more minutes and reset phone, all done....

Clone is very dissapointing, I am using Sunny Backup Manager 3.7 now!
i had this problem too after installing SPB pucket plus. do you have this installed? if so just goto the options and uncheck safe mode and it should boot fine now, obviously wont help you until you have wiped the machine, but it will avoid the same problem again

After cold reset the screen freeze on splah screen O2.
Try hard reset with key left , right + reset confirm restore factory default ?
try YES Clearing
Reboot but screen freeze anyway

what kinds device you had ? do you used noid.exe to flush ?
connect your ppc to pc and flush again
i have qtek 9000 as htc universal , the ppc is connected to pc. new hardware found but windows dont recognize the hardware!. also noid.exe don't find the hardware for flashing..

Try to soft reset , just push reset buttom
Hi,
Suddenly my XDA II was getting hanged and then I tried restting it, but it doesn't go beyond first Splash screen (O2)... I had c_shekhar 3.2 AKU ROM on this. After this problem, I upgraded my phone to AKU 3.5(c_shekhar) and it worked for soem time...but then again it had the same problem.
Now, its not getting started at all... as it just hangs at O2 splash screen. (btw I can still put this in bootloader mode)
Any help would be really appreciated.

Also be sure that the backup program you use is NOT restoring System Files/Databases or Install Programs. Infact it is better that you do not restore Personal Databases either.
In bootloader mode, use the camera and record buttons to disable KITL and enable format storage and clear registry, then try again.
hangs very often

After disabling KITL and enable format storage and clear registry, it is up again but it hangs very often..and It doesn't accept soft reset at that point...and I have to do hard reset...
Any ideas please ...???

I have tried using WM2003 SE (O2 UK ROM) as well but PPC hangs after some time and have to perform hard reset...

Hi, I have big problem. I need to perform hard reset but my camera button is damaged. Is there any solution to perform HR? I can't use Clear storage data because system is damaged too.

Does the system is damaged, in a way that you can not flash a new rom?
No, I'm not sure about that because I have device for two months and beginner at everything..
When I turn on the unit I can see two screens:
1. HTC Inovation ; 2. I-Mate and four values(IPL,SPL,GSM,OS) .. nothing more, here the phone freeze..
You thing that flash a new ROM could help me?
PS: I have model o2 XDA Neo
Try holding the Comm manager button while pressing reset. Keep holding the Comm Manager button until you see a screen with 4 colours. That's the bootloader and once you're there just connect it to USB and you can flash the ROM of your choice.
