First i want to say i don´t know very much about pda devices.
Hi, i tried to upload XDA special rom and update failed, now i can enter in Wallaby bootloader (5.22) and says gsm ok. Is pw10a1
My question is how to make it work again. Before upgrade, i made a backup in sd card, but don´t know how to restore...
Off course, pda can´t connect with activesync.
Now i want to know how to restore ROM with spanish lang.

How do I get a COMPLETE dump of the Terra / Wing? I only can read out the OS - no SPL/IPL - NO Radio. How do I get this too?

Does someone own a utility to flash an OS or extrom etc. without the ActiveSync Connection? So in bootloader mode? Can't someone figure out how the RUU is capable with this function? It would be very very handy..

Some people from Hermes forum told me that the modRUU in Hermes is indeed a modified bootloader.exe. The original bootloader is exchanged by this one - so you can flash unsigned or with nbhgen signed OS.nb.
But this bootloader was taken from a prefactured Hermes (so as beta) and nobody has something like this for Herald.
So if you really want to crack teh bootloader - good luck.

I´m also disappointed that there is (for now) no other chance.

can you explain how to use ImgfsToDump and ImgfsFromDump?
Is it something with which you can create a dump to a memory card to be restored in bootloader mode from the Herald ?
Always looking for a way to recover my bricked herald that only go in bootloader mode without CID unlocked.

as far as I know the extrom is about 10 MB which is not used in the herald official rom. Using the tools above it should be possible to make my own extrom , isn't it ? Do I have to use JumpSPL or similiar before using them ? Has anybody used done it so far (except for ASerg) ?
So I can make my own extrom and flash it but how can I install software which will run from the extrom ? (I've seen the ROMs of ASerg and he managed to install runnable software in the extrom ...) Please tell me the secrets

it can recover just the OS part of HTC Herald ? It would be REALLY useful !!
ps. still playing with Platform Builder to recovery my HTC herald dead device (btw, isnt mine!!)

Unlock Artemis Extrom

While I was trying to unlock the extrom of my italian HTC P3300 when it self-deleted. Now it's still locked and empty and I can't restore the files I've found on the ftp site. So the question is: how can I unlock the Artemis extrom?

After more than 200 visits, can someone just tell me if it possible or not? Or I have to think that no answers means it's not possible to unlock extrom?

I hoped in something easier like unlock-copy-lock. If I install every single jar manually after an HR is it the same thing that repairing the extrom?
